I spent a couple evenings at this Comfort Suites in Kyle, Texas to attend a car club meeting in the area. This facility appears to be a relatively new building, and most of the area looks like new development. This Comfort Suites is in a very convenient location, next to restaurants and shops. It is off the Interstate, but is situated far away enough that there is no significant traffic noise. The parking lot is ample for most passenger vehicles, but I can see large vehicles may have difficulties in it. Check in was quick, easy, and the staff were very professional. The lobby area is inviting, with a 24/7 coffee and tea service available. There is also a small sundries store next to the front desk, as well as laundry facilities. My room was located on the 3rd floor, which can be accessed with one of two efficiently-running elevators that give a pleasant chime. While I booked a single-king room, I was assigned a double-queen--I generally consider it to be inefficient when I am travelling alone to be in a room with two beds. Nevertheless, the suite was quite large, with a sofa, large bathroom area, clothes iron, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and quality HVAC. Furthermore, the WiFi is very reliable, but one must re-login every day. Due to COVID-19, there is no daily housekeeping service. However, there is a generous quantity of towels and toiletries in the room to minimize contact. There is no breakfast buffet but a selection of various items are available in the morning--I selected a breakfast sandwich on the first day, which is to be heated in the room microwave, and a Grab-n-Go bag the next, which consists of a packaged cream cheese Danish, Pop Tarts, peanut butter crackers, and a small bottle of water. Overall, my stay at this Comfort Suites is an excellent one, and I received a lot of value for the price paid. I would certainly consider coming back here in the future.

I read back through Yelp reviews and this place has been in a constant remodel for years. Our room was presentable but about three hours in the entire room started shaking and it went on for about 5 minutes. Go downstairs to inquire WTF was happening and the front desk lady played dumb. I literally looked for an earthquake on the USGS website. Said she heard nothing and didn't know why. Just after that a guy on the second floor at the desk complaining his room was 60 degrees and the heat didn't work. I walked around the breakfast area in the evening. Everything covered in drywall dusk. Footprints where food would sit. Pool is abandoned. You find random room doors wide open and contents in various states of disrepair. Yes, it was a cheap ($100 with taxes) stay. My advice to anyone staying in Buda would be to check out the adjacent hotels instead. Walk just a little further if you going to Mavericks!

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and unfortunately my experience was far below expectations. The…read moreroom was poorly maintained: two of the four USB outlets were not working, the wall light behind the bed did not function, the shower valve plate was loose, and the wall near the desk was scratched and damaged by the chair. Housekeeping did not service the bed daily. Breakfast service was also disappointing. On Sunday, the selection consisted only of plain eggs and white bread--no bagels, wheat bread, English muffins, fruit, yogurt, or other standard items. The juice came from a machine of very low quality, and everything was served on paper plates. On Monday, the situation worsened: no eggs were offered, the juice machine was shut down, and staff responded rudely when I inquired. At one point, the kitchen lights were even turned off while I was there, which made the experience very unpleasant. Given these issues, the value was extremely poor. The hotel charges close to $90 per night but provides a level of service and quality that would only justify $20-25. It was clear to me that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.

Upon arrival, our supervisors provided us with a day pass to the spa which included, access to the grounds, trail access, pickleball access, library access, breakfast, coffee/tea, an hour long massage and a boxed lunch. We started at the pickleball courts and we were the only ones out there. The staff provided us with pickleball equipment so don't worry if you don't have any! After a few rounds, we then went to the spa to get our massage. In the massage building there were four separate rooms and a bathroom. Everything was clean and smelled amazing. A male masseuse then guided me to our room and ensured I was comfortable and asked if I had any areas I wanted to focus on. The massage was INCREDIBLE! My peers had nothing but great things to say about their experience as well. One masseuse was even experienced in pre-natal massages. The boxed lunch meal was such a delicious treat. It came with a sandwich, cookie, drink, chips and a salad. After lunch, a few of us walked some trails and sat around the fire pit. I would recommend sage hill a hundred times! If you're looking for a weekend getaway, a date night, team bonding, or some quick personal self care, Sage Hill is it!

We were even able to see deer right in front of our place! To add to the comfort, each person staying on the property gets a 3-course dinner and a hearty breakfast-- all included with our stay. The food was so good, and we were told it's farm-to-table! We opted to eat our dinner outside and we had the most perfect view of the sunset! There's so much to explore--I wish I could've done it all. I was only here for one night so I missed out on the Pickleball court, hiking trails, and spa. I definitely hope to be back soon, it was exactly what I needed to reset

I tried to cancel the previous reservations and it seemed they went thru fine. I reserved again and I am almost in Tx. I message to ask about my dog and someone who works there begins to message me. They say that my card information was wrong and I will be put on a do not rent list? I have never stayed at this hotel and I told them this seemed extreme and that I was coming from out of state? I also ask why are they charging my card when I requested the option to pay at the hotel? They tell me that they are allowed to do so to validate the reservation? Then say I have been banned on all platforms and that people like me who play games should not be allowed to stay at their hotel? I don't know this person and this was one of the oddest interactions I have ever had with a hotel. This person needs to be fired immediately. Who talks to a customer in this manner over a hotel room? Honestly, with the room being less than $90, I was expecting a typical trash and dirty room like most of the hotels that I've in, but my room was surprisingly clean and very nice. It had a full kitchen with a stove and full fridge. The doors to the bathroom were kind of weird though. It looked like a closet door with a secret room. Our king sized bed was really comfortable. The outlets and lights works and there were no stains for once. There's a little round table with seats. Overall, pretty spacious for a room that wasn't expensive. It was perfect for one night. The staff are very friendly. Large parking lot and the lobby is nice. I don't think there's free breakfast or anything like that. There is a pool, but ain't nobody trying to swim in 40 degree weather.
