    Orlando was extremely accommodating! I told him my employees were staying at the hotel for the weekend he immediately sent me a credit card authorization form. HE EVEN CALLED BACK TO MAKE SURE I GOT IT!! My employees have waited in lobby's 30+ minutes before wait for to order to come through. I feel well taken care and feel at home. Will definitely Continue booking at Studio 6 Buda!! Thanks Orlando!!!! -Sarah

    So I took my daughters down to San Marcos for the weekend & realized it was also during Sxsw hotels here are not only all sold out they're all trying to charge the maximum...Places we would normally stay were all either sold out or charging double or triple finally called this hotel Orlando at front desk was professional and saved us a room - Now about the room no towels not cleaned well especially the bathroom lots of noise upstairs we all still slept almost entire time from the drive - So in summary good location between San Marcos and Austin reasonably priced during Sxsw not really clean or quiet enough though..

    I would give them a ZERO if I could... this was the WORST experience... first me and my 6 yrs old check in to a dirty USED room. Housekeeping must have just made up a already slept in bed. Before we unpack I pull back the covers and... a bandaid falls out the sheets. there were crumps in the wrinkled sheets. The top of the sheets were YELLOW. The sink looked like someone throws up in it. There was no soap or conditioner. No extra toilet paper and dirty looking face towels...we go down and ask for a new room..(I'm packing 2 big suitcases, to pack packs, my HEAVY purse and a fish in a pickle jar, wearing a heavy winter coat) the front desk clerk gives me a new room. We go BACK up the elevator annnnd.. get STUCK on the elevator for about 10 mins. (I have anxiety and panic attacks) my daughter and I were both freaking out. I was HOT and nervous. We FINALLY get out and go to another dirty room (which some man had JUST been in wiped down the counters and left the bleach cleaner) that hadn't been swept or mopped. Sticky "something" on the toilet, and a Dirty shower. But the bed was clean and had NOT been slept in. So I was Exhausted and said lets just lay down..I'll clean the toilet and restroom. And just don't walk on the floor unless you have on your shoes. But my 6 year old daughter was like "I" can't stay here.im sorry Mommy, but I'm going to have to leave you. Please take me to my Grandparents house. I'm not staying were I can't use the restroom and can't even walk on the floor with my socks on..... So we go back down the "STAIRS" this time. And say we can't stay there.. the clerk calls the manager again. Which is YELLING in his ear. He walks out. I break Dow crying. I'm TIRED, having HIGH anxiety and just want to lay down. The man comes back and starts yelling at me about how he does NOT have to give me my money back. I told him to watch his tone with me. We both explained that we were frustrated. Then my daughter told him sir please don't talk to my mommy like that. You need to respect that she is tired and is nervous. He took a step back after that, calmed down and apologized to my daughter and to me.... long story longer. I call the next day to speak to the manager (Robert)about making sure I got my money back.. "Someone" picked up the phone 3xs and would never say anything. I call back the 4th time I'm like HELLO I can clearly see you are on the phone.. he says hello(RUDE) how can I help. I ask who am I speaking with? He says Robbie () I say are you the manager? He said no. The manager will back on the weekend. Can I help you? I said maybe you can maybe you can't. I TRY to tell him I had to leave due to dirty rooms and I just need to know about my money.. this man stays SCREAMING at me. I am the owner ( thought you said earlier the manager wasn't in, but u didn't say u THE OWNER) I have dealt with you alll night. And you will get your money back when you get it back, be happy I'm giving it back. This is a 2star hotel and if you want better go get a 5 star (which I had to do) go to Austin, do something, but never come back here again. I am not dealing with you anymore, and hung up in my face.... all I will say is God sits high, and looks low. God gone get you Robert, Robbie,manager, Owner, whoever you are. And OWNER should NEVER talk to a costumer like that. Just apologize for your BAD housekeeping and YOUR poor customer services and move on. I wILL NEVER RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE. ...I do have pictures.. but you can hardly see. My phone was on 2 percent and it was dark in the room.

    I will give it 2 stars only because most of the staff were nice but the vents in the air conditioner were disgusting and made the room smell the bathroom smelled of mold I called on the Friday and Monday before making my reservation for Wednesday to ask about their pool and I was assured it was great well when we got there it was green and the manager said to me "it's an amenitie and is not guaranteed I was very upset because I was staying for 8 days and would have went somewhere else with a pool considering it's Texas and it was hot! They never had towels and no one knew where the toilet paper was. My grown son was told to go inside the hotel after 10 because "they" have a curfew! After talking to many other visitors their experience was the same. Overall I would NEVER go there again and feel like I am owed something for dealing with it.

    Booked this stay as the GF and I were attending a birthday party at the dancehall next door…read more Convenient? Yes! Would I stay here again? Hell no! I read back through Yelp reviews and this place has been in a constant remodel for years. Our room was presentable but about three hours in the entire room started shaking and it went on for about 5 minutes. Go downstairs to inquire WTF was happening and the front desk lady played dumb. I literally looked for an earthquake on the USGS website. Said she heard nothing and didn't know why. Just after that a guy on the second floor at the desk complaining his room was 60 degrees and the heat didn't work. I walked around the breakfast area in the evening. Everything covered in drywall dusk. Footprints where food would sit. Pool is abandoned. You find random room doors wide open and contents in various states of disrepair. Yes, it was a cheap ($100 with taxes) stay. My advice to anyone staying in Buda would be to check out the adjacent hotels instead. Walk just a little further if you going to Mavericks!

    I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and unfortunately my experience was far below expectations. The…read moreroom was poorly maintained: two of the four USB outlets were not working, the wall light behind the bed did not function, the shower valve plate was loose, and the wall near the desk was scratched and damaged by the chair. Housekeeping did not service the bed daily. Breakfast service was also disappointing. On Sunday, the selection consisted only of plain eggs and white bread--no bagels, wheat bread, English muffins, fruit, yogurt, or other standard items. The juice came from a machine of very low quality, and everything was served on paper plates. On Monday, the situation worsened: no eggs were offered, the juice machine was shut down, and staff responded rudely when I inquired. At one point, the kitchen lights were even turned off while I was there, which made the experience very unpleasant. Given these issues, the value was extremely poor. The hotel charges close to $90 per night but provides a level of service and quality that would only justify $20-25. It was clear to me that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.
