I stayed here for 2 days on a work trip and had a great experience. The location is perfect -- close to everything -- and the hotel offers a free shuttle running every 30 minutes to an hour. The pool, bar, and grill were great, and I appreciated the free water bottles in the lobby and the breakfast. Even though it's near the airport, you never hear planes (and trust me, I would -- I'm an incredibly light sleeper). Above all, what really stood out was the front desk staff. Kim is the absolute best -- extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He recommended local spots, beaches, and more, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. If I'm ever back in town, I'll be staying here again because of him

We loved our stay here and only regret not staying longer. The room was nice and clean and bed were comfortable. The service to the room was great. We loved the view from the room of the beach and ocean. Waking up and seeing the sunrise was amazing for us landlocked Indiana people. Time spent at the pool was great, at check-in you get 2 free drink cards and they have live music in the afternoon. Sam did such a great job communicating with us and making sure we were comfortable. We also enjoyed being away from the crowd in town. And they have a shuttle to town and back which was convenient. I can't wait to plan another trip here!

We stayed here for several days during our time in Key West. Staff were helpful. The pool was a welcome retreat from the heat. The extra perks such as free water, free breakfast, and free drinks at the bar were nice touches. Despite being very close to the airport we never heard planes unless we were outside. The abundance of wildlife around the hotel ensured we were never bored! While we never used it, they did offer free shuttles to downtown Key West. We would certainly stay here again if we had the chance.

Hampton Inn Key West formally Best Western is a nice ocean side hotel that has been renovated a few years back. Although I have stayed here several times, this is my first time since the renovation now under Hampton Inn. I could definitely see the upgrades to the property, specifically the rooms. This is a nice property with a great pool and poolside bar. They offer some nice perks like free hot breakfast and trolly transportation about every hour to the Duval Street area (downtown). Although you can take your car just about anywhere on the island, I recommend renting a moped or golf cart to get around during your stay. This is a fun way to get around but also makes parking and commuting easier. The hotel staff was helpful with any questions and needs we had. You can opt to have your room cleaned daily or pass on it. The rooms are good sized including upgraded furniture and showers. I like that this hotel is close to the entrance of the island away from most of the hustle & bustle of Duval area. Just know that the Key West Airport is right up the street so you will here planes taking off several times an hour. I highly recommend staying here. This is my go to stay when I'm Key West. Note: The many beautiful iguanas that live on this property are protected. DO NOT mess with them or harass them in any way. The are harmless. If you are afraid of iguanas, this may not be the place for you.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the Key West Airport (12 minute walk), but off of Duval Street if that's important for your location. They do have a shuttle that will take you to Duval St. but you have to sign up in the lobby for a seat on the shuttle (positive-you can sign up for multiple times/days in advance. It is a round trip service with the return to the hotel running every 45 minutes (note: return trip is first come first serve and the shuttle holds 10 people). The breakfast served is fair, but it's included which is nice. We also got 2 free drinks at the bar everyday of our stay and that's a nice perk. The staff is so nice and extremely accommodating. The concierge is very knowledgeable about excursions and things to do. The rooms are very clean and large as far as hotel rooms go. The pool is huge and the outdoor bar is very nice!

We booked a room at this spot for our stay in Key West. We picked the room for the ocean view. Please note that while you have an ocean view you do have to walk a little to get to a beach area. This hotel is not located in the ideal area to enjoy all Key West has to offer. It is literally within walking distance of the airport, but about a 15-20 minute drive to downtown. The hotel does offer a shuttle service to downtown every 45 minutes and the last shuttle picks up from downtown is at 10:30pm. The hotel is more of a motel set up. When you walk out of your door you are outside. Depending on which building you stay in you can have a decent walk to get to the area where breakfast is served. The gym is also in a different building than the check- in desk. Everything is pretty spread out. Things I liked: 1. The rooms are a large 2. The rooms are clean 3. The rooms have been updated for example the bathroom is pretty modern. Love the black frame and black fixtures in the bathroom 4. The pool area is very nice. The pool even has a water fall feature. The bar at the pool is designed like a tiki bar. 5. Upon check- in you do get complimentary tickets for drinks 6. Parking is free I think this is a good choice if you are not interested in being in the heart of key west. However, just keep in mind that if you decide to drive downtow, parking is $5 per hour. If you opt to take the shuttle instead just make sure you plan accordingly!

Very easy going simple hotel, we loved the complimentary breakfast, the free shuttle to downtown, the staff was all very friendly and helpful and the cheekie hut bar where we received 2 complimentary drinks per day. The front desk lady who works the overnight shift was very kind and helpful when our flight was delayed and got us checked in without any issues!

Scooter and golf cart rental prices.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms. Beautiful views. Really nice pool and pool bar. Diamond members get 2 complimentary drinks each day which is always a nice perk. Free breakfast never hurts either. Love the offerings here like the free shuttle down into downtown Key West or all the rentals and activities you can book with the concierge. We rented bikes for a day and rode all along the coast and explored the city for a very low price. The concierge provided the bike, locks, and helmets all on the property. Other rentals like golf carts and scooters seemed to be picked up downtown. While other Hiltons may look more appealing on paper, the reviews for some of the fancy ones downtown are really really bad and I couldn't even realistically consider those. This one is a sure thing. Great place to stay. And if you fly into key west you literally won't need a car at all. Highly recommend.

The Hampton Inn is a really great and reasonable place to stay when visiting Key West. It has nearly all the amenities you could want: a nice, spacious room, housekeeping if you want it, continental breakfast, a big pool and bar, the beach a 10 minute walk away, and shuttle right to downtown Key West. Each room even gets two free fountain drinks every day of their stay from the pool bar! Literally the only downside I can say for this place is that it's a good 15 minute drive to Duval Street and the main areas of Key West to walk around, eat, drink, and shop. But they do have a free shuttle like I mentioned before so there is a way to get there fairly easily, so long as you sign up ahead of time because it's a very small van that doesn't fit a ton of people. But anyways, it's a really beautiful, clean and nice hotel that we at least got for a super great price, way better than the sky high downtown options that have maybe a third of the amenities.

This has been the best experience I have had in a Hampton Inn! The location, walking distance from the airport and free shuttle to take you down to the all the action make it ideal if you prefer not to rent a car. They have a heated pool with gorgeous ocean views and a boardwalk across the street along the A1A. When we checked in, we were greeted with snacks, waters and complimentary drink vouchers. We are Gold Level Hilton Honors members so some of these are perks. The complimentary drinks are good and the snacks are a nice touch as well. During COVID they are only doing room service every 3rd day but we never use room service anyway. If you need replacement towels or other things, all you have to do is ask for them. Pool towels are also provided. Bikes are available on property for rent and there is a small gym open 24 hours. My one and only criticism is the noise from the planes flying overhead but, that being said, there's absolutely nothing they can do about it. If you just come expecting it, your experience will be perfect!

We wish we had checked out and stayed at Marquesa hotel instead. But everyone was at the same hotel for the weekend so we stuck it out. For the price point, ones expectations are commensurate and this place was not even in the same universe as other hotels charging the same rate. The hotel is right on the water but in key west, the same can also be said for a gas station. Right away you know there's a problem because the elevator to reception smells like rotting seaweed (sargassum). The reception area seems like a guest room that was adapted and its small and dark and doesn't work. Then you get to the guest rooms from the year 1985 with chair railing and crown molding that has never seen a magic eraser in its life. Covered in 40 years of dust and who knows what else. The blinds have never been dusted or replaced in 40 years. Are you getting the picture? The head board had mystery smears on it. Floors were filthy with 40 years of accumulated dust. We dared not step one toe into the murky pool. We watched as guests sat there for hours, drink after drink, and never got out. Not even to use the bathroom? Ewwww. Every day the streets flood with high tide and poor civil planning so coming and going from the hotel means wading in ankle deep water and probably sewage, which is probably why the elevator smells so terribly. No wonder all the associates there seem so sad. I would be too if I worked there. I was sad for the resources and time spent here that I wont get back.

It was late night and there was not much available. Miraculously, this place ended up our final destination after 4 of us were on our phones for literally at least an hour. We ended getting to the place nearly 10:30 pm. The staff was AMAZING!! The place was beautiful with a location right in view of the water. The rooms we got were impeccable. Crisp white sheets, fluffy white towels, plenty of bottled water in the mini fridge. Poolside, they offered cool individually wrapped facial towels, sunblock, sunglasses wiping cloths, and much more. Their restaurant was ocean facing and very nice. We ate breakfast there 2 days in a row and it was wonderful. The only issue was our beautiful view was blocked by cruise ships on both days. The ships were there until nearly 4 pm... that part was definitely not good planning for the view. But for watching sunsets after they were gone... ohhh my goodness. All in all, a fabulous place, sensational customer service and respect. But do expect it to be on the pricier side... well worth every penny.

The shower also hadn't been cleaned with a piece of old soap stuck to the floor and bug crawling under the pillow when i moved it.. I brought it to the attention of the man working the front desk who first told me it was a queen. The GM came on later that evening and admitted that it wasn't a queen and offered us a slightly larger rom but same size bed. Again the sink was in the room and it was stuffy and humid which made it hard to sleep more than four hours. I canceled the room after one night and tried to get my money back, but they've refused. The bedroom was also large, with a large closet and a VERY comfortable bed in a room that darkened to allow us to sleep in one day. Both rooms had TV's if you wanted to unwind with different show types. The bathroom was gorgeous with separated dual vanities so no spousal battles getting ready, a separate water closet (also helps avoid battles :) ) , and a huge shower with a great dual shower head fixture including rain shower. Given the propensity for high temperatures in FL, the AC in this place was great and ceiling fans kept the room as cold as you wanted. The pool areas were little botanical wonders full of great foliage, comfortable lounge chairs and just gorgeous serene surroundings. There were usually only a few adults there so it was a quite paradise to go read a book in the shade, lay out in the sun, swim or just relax. I'm not much of a pool guy, but even I enjoyed our time at this one. The lobby area is really cool with a refreshed vintage house and vintage furniture and decor. We ate at the cafe one day for breakfast and got great service and a pretty good meal. The staff was mostly friendly with a few more mellow younger folks, but some really nice housekeeping staff who joked with us! The only issue I could see is potentially the parking.
