We recently stayed here for one night and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we were warmly greeted by the front desk clerk. She was friendly, welcoming, and quickly took care of our reservation. We reserved a suite and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. The room featured two queen beds plus a sofa with a pull-out bed, which made it perfect for extra space. There was also a small kitchenette area with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and coffee provided. The suite included all the standard amenities -- TV, desk, hairdryer, and more. The room itself was beautiful, clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options, including cereal, blueberry muffins, eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, bagels, waffles, and a variety of juices. Checkout was quick and easy. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and if we're ever in the area again, we will absolutely stay here again. read more

I was in the area visiting my sister-in-law, and this Hampton Inn is close to her house, so it's usually our first choice when we are in her neck of the woods. It's not that this is a super swanky property (it's not), but it's a perfectly acceptable hotel that's clean and comfortable, if drab and dated. This is a very basic Hampton Inn that's starting to feel a little tired around the edges. The rooms and overall property are definitely due for a renovation soon, especially when weekend rates are pushing close to $285 a night for a standard King room. That price feels ambitious for what you're getting here, and it's mind-boggling that this hotel regularly commands rates in the $200 to $300 range. The hotel does check a lot of practical boxes. It's located right on a busy main road with tons of restaurants, stores, and chain conveniences nearby. I wouldn't exactly describe the area as quaint or charming, but it felt safe, relatively quiet at night, and easy to navigate. Parking was plentiful, free, and well-lit, which I always appreciate. The staff was friendly enough, but I barely interacted with anyone because the Hilton app made everything super easy. I used digital check-in, skipped the front desk completely, and unlocked my room by holding my phone up to the door without the need for a plastic key. Very convenient. The room itself was dated but clean. The AC worked beautifully, which is a necessity in Florida! I had it ice cold in there, so much so that I had to get a blanket. The layout of our room was a little odd, but very spacious. I like Hampton Inns because there's always a handy mini fridge and microwave in the room, which always make a hotel stay easier. Amenities are standard. There's a mediocre free hot breakfast, free WiFi, and an outdoor pool. Nothing fancy, but functional. This Hampton Inn is not stylish, not exciting, and maybe overdue for some upgrades, but it's friendly and comfortable. read more

We stayed here one night to celebrate my birthday. The front desk person greeted us warmly. The suite was large and very comfortable. Breakfast as good and "Chef" William more than helpful. Thank you for having decaf tea to chose from. It's nice to have a daily menu of breakfast offerings but why, oh why in this day and age is the meat pork. Have they not heard of turkey sausage? In addition, the bowls are marked recyclable, but there was no recycle bin in this breakfast area. read more

I don't write reviews for too many hotels but Hampton Stuart stood out to me. We were up for the weekend for a random concert we wanted to see. I did a quick look around at different hotels and this Hampton stood out with good reviews, nice breakfast, and close to downtown. Turns out, all of that was true and then some. we got there early and the gal at the desk was helpful in getting us checked in early. She was funny and cheerful too which says alot. We got in our room which was just perfectly fine. For the price it was a win. We were happy with all of it. The next morning i went out and the breakfast area was packed. I think the word was out they had a good one. I came back about 20 minutes later and it had cleared up. I thought the place would look mauled but the staff was on top of it! Only glitch was the OJ was out, and the gal working came up and said she would get that replaced right away, and did. Solid spot, with friendly people. And a heck of a waffle station! read more

I can only say nice things about this hotel, as we were treated like royalty. They had wet paint signs on each of the walls, so it seems to have recently gone through some sort of renovation however, from check in to check out, they treated us with the utmost Customer Service. First off when we checked in, they noticed that I was honors number unless they upgraded my room, and my wife remarked that it was maybe the best hotel room she stayed in in a long time . Breakfast the next morning was good, with a number of different options. And I want to give kudos to them for having fried eggs, which is a rarity when you trap, so I enjoyed my fried eggs and grits and any good southern gentleman would enjoy kitchen. Staff was nice getting whatever you needed. Overall, a great stay, we were only there a night, but we were pleased with the service room, the amenities and look forward to coming back or visiting family again and staying there a few more nights . read more

We visited here recently for a mini vacation. Our check in process was fine. The staff was friendly. And although the room we reserved online wasn't ready, we were able to check in to a room right nearby. We weren't recognized as being Diamond members nor did we receive any comp snacks. As we were leaving, I questioned this, and they told me we had to ASK for them. Not sure if this is a new Hampton Inn policy, but we've never had to do this ever before. Not so much friendly by the other/future staff -- including one guy who hadn't been there before to see us come and go frequently and questioned me being in the lobby (!) The room was typical Hampton Inn. We are usually upgraded so it seemed a bit small, but it had all the amenities we needed. And we were only there for a couple days and not in the room very much. The included breakfast is always a perk. This breakfast was okay. We've had better at other Hampton Inns, but we didn't go hungry. There's always something to find to eat from the choices. The best thing about this Hampton Inn is the convenience of the property -- right on Federal Highway/US one -- which offered us a fast trip to wherever we were going for meals, sightseeing, and shopping. read more

It was so good that we made it a point to talk to the women that prepared it. Both Norma and Deanna were still here making wonderful breakfast every morning. We were impressed to see the same women here from our stay here a few years back. That is a testament to the management at this particular hotel. Not the typical Hilton Honors Club Check-In experience at this property. Since we had used the Hilton Honors app to make reservations and pre-paid for our stay, check-in should have been according to script. We were not recognized as to our membership level and did not receive the traditional check-in welcome amenities that accompany. The staff were friendly but not apparently familiar with the on screen prompts on their side of the monitor. The rooms were fine and the breakfast was adequate. One night during a rainstorm, I dropped my wife off at the entrance so she would not get wet and I went to park the car. While waiting for me one male staff member asked her what she was doing in the lobby. Perhaps a better inquiry from this staff member should have been, "Good evening mam, can I help you with anything?" The best thing about this Hampton Inn is the convenience of the property -- right on Federal Highway/US one -- which offered us a fast trip to wherever we were going for meals, sightseeing, and shopping. read more

During the tumultuous Hurrican Milton/Tornado event in Oct 2024 we were without power for days at our house. Very nicely my company offered to put my family up for 2 nights. My travel agent from my company worked with Nancy to help secure a room. Nancy was great. That was the end of the good part. The rooms are old. We stayed at two other 'somewhat local Hamptons due to diff reasons, one being in Tamarac of Commercial and that hotel while may be in a slightly depressed area was one of the nicest Hampton Inns we've stayed at. Then we stayed at Hampton near Sawgrass mall which other than the lobby was old and dated, and unfortunately this Hampton was much more the latter. We were grateful to have a place with power, with AC. I was hoping for a hot shower after dealing with everything and the shower never got hot. Rooms were old and luckily we were in the room for a few hours to relax/clean up, went to dinner, and then back to crash. We were at our house most of the day Saturday praying for power restoration and that came about 3 pm. So i headed over to the Hampton asking to check out to release the room to someone else in need. Desk agent said she needed to check w Mgt, went behind the scenes, came back and said 'mgr said no'. I asked to speak to the Mgr. Shorter, stockier guy (didn't get the name) and was like 'sorry, not sorry'. I told him someone could use the room. This was a VERY extenuating circumstances. Even he said the hotel was fully booked further proving my point. SOMEONE could have used this room. He did say there was no housekeeping available however I did see folks in the laundry room. Something surely could have been done. He was like like 'Nope'. The breakfast was one of the worst I've had. That one above we loved, we couldn't believe how nice it was. Didn't even eat anything. I did start off saying my company was paying for this. My ethics say treat this as it was your money, and I don't like he was unwilling to do anything. I will absolutely bring this to Corporate. The manager was merely there to cash in, you could tell. Someone in need could have used this room. Instead it sat empty. Besides the dated room, the ethics of this guy would ensure I would not stay here again, and I'll be to sure to point others away from this hotel. read more

In all of those thousands of nights that have earned me Diamond status, I have NEVER run across a Hilton with a 4 pm check in time, and a $50 charge to check in early. I'm sure the two policies are designed to be mutually supportive and bilk guests out of that extra $50. They got my company for $100 this time for my copilot and me since it was also too late to cancel (convenient for them also), but we'll never book rooms there again, and hopefully you won't either. Oh, and it's barely an average Hampton Inn anyway comparatively speaking. read more

Hotel is old and it shows. Every hallway has peeling and patched wallpaper. Worse the cleaning staff needs to be replaced. Rooms were dirty. Hair in the bathtub and on the bathroom floor pushed into the corners, etc. the hair dryer had dust and hair clogging the intake vent. read more

We made our reservation with Larissa on November 17 for December 8-10. The purpose of our trip was my granddaughter's wedding. I called on Friday, December 6 to check that our reservation was confirmed. When we landed at West Palm Beach airport, I called again around 11 AM to see if we could have an early check in but no rooms were available. We went straight to the hotel and were told again that there were no rooms available at that time. John suggested that we have lunch at the dolphin bar and Grill down the street. After our lunch, we came back around 2:30-3pm to check in and only then were we informed that on Monday, December 9 from 10 AM to 2:30 PM the water would be shut off. At no time in my previous interactions with staff were we told about the water issue. We were traveling with an infant and had all of our luggage already unpacked and out of the car in the lobby. At that time we were already late to the rehearsal for the wedding that we were in town for. The day of my granddaughter's wedding I had to shower at 8am in order to get down to breakfast before 10 AM. I needed to do my hair and make up. I had to style my hair with bottled water. We had to ask the staff for bottled water, no water offered to us. I also had to use the bathroom before we left for the wedding and was told that we would have at least one flush in our room toilet. The feces did not flush and lingered in our room the entire day and was not flushed until we came back to our room around 9:30-10 PM that night. When we complain to the manager, John, he said that it was a routine maintenance that is performed every year. We don't understand why we were not informed ahead of time so that we could have made other arrangements. There are also other guests attending the wedding that stayed at your hotel. People were talking about it at the event. It was embarrassing for our family. This was supposed to be one of the most memorable days of my life, and it was marred by this. I have attached pictures of the room. They said that the popcorn ceiling was recently redone and that is why it's dusty but there were obvious signs of neglect on the cleanliness on the room. read more

Stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and really enjoyed our stay. I stay in a lot of hotels due to business travel and this was a very pleasant experience. The front desk staff was very nice. They were welcoming and really want3d to help you in any way. Sometimes this is a rarity but they did a nice job. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. My one complaint is that you need to tell them that you want housekeeping service. Honestly that should just be a given, but not a big deal. The breakfast was typical with a few nice touches that I haven't seen at a Hampton Inn and Suites. The breakfast staff was very nice in some requests. Very little to complain about at this hotel location. It was a fairly modern hotel, and noticeably clean with spacious, big rooms. The customer service was great enough that you noticed - hey, this person is being extra friendly. Other reviews seem to be hit-or-miss, but my experience was perfectly fine for a Hampton Inn. The one negative takeaway was that the complimentary breakfast sucked. I have had my fair share of hotel breakfasts - and while many are the same, you can tell when it is worse than it should be. I booked this hotel thinking the date I booked was a month out and accidentally booked that night. My fault. I realized the next morning when I got an email asking about my stay. I called the hotel and got the manager on the phone who was rude and told me there's nothing you could do and I had to pay the full amount. The hotel was not booked and I didn't cost them a dime. I was going with a month later so now no one booked it. I called Hilton the parent company and they were no help. I stayed at this hotel because it carried the Hilton name. Yet, my stay did not coincide with the Hilton values. The staff management, and employees were less than helpful. Especially the "manager" John. I heard him gossiping about different guests that were paying good money at his hotel to other hotel employees in the week I was there. It was very disheartening and unprofessional. As a successful business owner, an employee of this caliber will drive business away. The hotel looks like it is struggling. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls in numerous areas of the hotel hallways. The hotel felt very humid on the 2nd floor like the ac was not working correctly and not up to Florida health code standards. The room window unit had ants in it. The dark colored carpet in the rooms looked dingy and dirty, maid service was not up to par. The pool was broken and unusable during the entire week. Hilton offers a free breakfast that is usually excellent at other Hilton brand hotels I have stayed at. At the Hampton Inn and Suites North Stuart it tasted like old frozen food. The breakfast sausage was gray in the middle and the entire lobby smelled like sweaty socks due to poor food quality. The group that I was traveling with was also very disappointed. I had such a nice experience at this Hampton location! My employer was nice enough to get a nice room for a work trip and I was so impressed. The room was HUGE & super clean. When you walk in they had a nice area to the left hand side with a sink, mini fridge, and microwave. Then a nice couch, a writing area with a large desk, 2 beds and a nice bathroom, with the toilet and shower separated from the bathroom sink for privacy. In the mornings breakfast was served starting at 6 am and it was delicious. I personally feel that they provided choices for everyone's liking. The staff was really friendly and quick. I checked in late on a Sunday night and they were so kind and made conversation and offered complimentary water for the room. Overall, I really did enjoy my 2 day stay. The facility was very impressive, clean, and well kept. With an amazing atmosphere. Thank you for for an awesome experience. read more

I arrived on a Tuesday morning around 10am, and was checked in by "Mrs. Nancy". She was extremely pleasant, taking extra time to try to find me a discounted rate, and to be sure I got the type of room I wanted (King, non-smoking). When she found out it was my birthday, she promised to get me something, which I laughed off as a joke...turns out it wasn't. Since it was so early, and the previous occupants hadn't checked out, she told me I could call about noon or whenever I was ready after that to ensure it was ready before coming back, or I could just come back after 2-ish and she was sure it'd be ready by then. I was going to the beach anyway, so it wasn't any bother. When I came back to finish check-in at about 4pm, Mrs. Nancy was on her way through the parking lot and called out a "happy birthday" to me, which was very nice of her! When I got to my room, there was a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and a birthday card waiting for me. Mrs. Nancy deserves a raise! in the hospitality industry, people like her are rare...most do the bare minimum to make you feel welcome, she went the extra mile! Now to the room, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.... As noted by another reviewer, the shower head drips non-stop after a shower. I put a towel under the drip, which muffled it just fine, but still. I also had the shower door pop off its track, and the wheel fall off. I'm fairly handy and never leave home without my trusty Gerber multi-tool, so I fixed it easily enough, but it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. Other than that, the room was a pretty standard affair, it had plenty of towels and even a spare blanket in the closet. The bed was OK, but nothing special, I wouldn't want to spend a week sleeping on it though...3 nights was enough. The pillows were on the "too plush" side, but I just used all 4 of them. The AC was cold, and the fridge/microwave the standard affair. The TV was a good size, but the channel selection was a bit lacking....it was new enough that you could connect a laptop via HDMI or external HD and bring your own shows to watch (which I did). The room was relatively quiet. I heard no noise from the adjacent rooms, nor from the pool area directly below my room (I was on the second floor, room 228). The weak point, as usual, was the door. I could hear every hallway noise, which in the early to late evening was mostly doors opening/closing when people were returning to their rooms....and on one night there was a guy that couldn't decide if he wanted to be in his room or the hallway, I heard him open and close his door about 15 times over about 2 hours. I always travel with a fan-noise-generator, so at bedtime it all disappeared. The free breakfast was awesome! I'm used to staying at places that say 'free breakfast' and mean either cereal, a selection of store-bought muffins, or bagels/toast with some juice. The Hampton had all of that, AND eggs/omelets to order, link sausages, fresh made waffles (mini and regular), several juices, and yogurts along with about 5 different things to top your bagels/toast with. I only ate breakfast once while I was there, and it was amazing. Bonus of this Hotel; Lizards. Tons of lizards...and I'm not talking the ones that are the size of your finger either. I saw dozens of lizards the length of my forearm...some were the normal drab green, others were red, white and black striped...very cool. I even saw a fairly good sized crab walking near the pool. Very "Florida". Mrs. Nancy was again at the desk when I checked out, and asked if I had a nice birthday and if my stay was pleasant. I wish I could give her a separate 5-star review! Horrible experience galore at this hotel. Arrived at the hotel past midnight to check in and found the front desk agent fast asleep. It took over 12 minutes to get him to wake up. He handed the keys without asking for an ID or credit card and said that I had checked in using the mobile app, which I did not. Tired to login to the internet using my room number and last name and got an error that my last name did not match the hotel records. Called the reception 4 times with no answer and finally our sleepy friend answered. He stated that he would give me a code to use the internet. The next morning I saw on the Hilton app that my reservation was marked as a no-show. I figured that my checkin was not even completed by the sleepy receptionist. I packed my bags and went down to the reception to check out and move to a Marriott hotel. When I enquired about the name registered under my room number, the lady confirmed that there was nobody registered in that room. I expressed my utmost dissatisfaction and callous attitude for guest safety. She told me that the general manager would call me. I got a call in 90 mins from Kristy who apologized for any inconvenience caused. She offered to not charge me for the room which I refused. I let her know that Hilton will never be my choice of hotel again - a chain that does not care about their customers and their safety. To top it all, I got charged twice for the room - once for a no-show and once for a second night of stay. I emailed Hilton and received a response that these were legitimate charges and the case was closed. Had to call the customer service desk only to be put on hold for over 20 minutes after which I was told that Kristy had to come in on a Monday to reverse the charges. I am not sure if Hilton has systems that are so screwed up or if they lack basic training for their employees. This is one of the most disgusting experiences I have had and the issue is still not resolved. I will not let Hilton get away with this. Avoid this hotel and Hilton like the plague. You are better off staying at a Marriott or another chain. read more

I'm not a fan of hotels to begin with but after staying in an air bnb (3 bedroom beach house) then coming here. I realized how annoying it is to sleep somewhere that was loud all night. Doors slamming constantly busy highway out the window and a window shaker ac. All for only 20% more than the air bnb. What a delightful hotel. My husband upgraded us to a suite, and indeed, it was. Hotel was very quiet, except for the few guests that allow their door to slam close (no fault of hotel). Front desk check-in was very courteous, as was the gal personally preparing our breakfast due to COVID. Our room, as well as hallways were extremely clean, as evident by the bottom of our feet. Restroom outside of the breakfast bar was very clean. Ample free parking, with generously spaced spots. Did not use pool, and kind of disappointed there was no spa. We were there 4/11 through the bad micro burst storm. Pool umbrellas were flying over the fence, fraunds were falling down. Within minutes, two staff members were out to the area securing everything. The next morning a service, and staff were out clearing/cleaning the pool and parking lot. Only other complaint was that our bathtub faucet leaked. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, linens were spotless. We'll be going back to the area in six months, and will stay here again. Oh one last thing, we did request a room on the backside of the hotel, as the front faces Federal Hwy. read more

We had a horrible time in this hotel. Upon arrival I check my bed to find dirty hairy sheets. GROSS! When we ask for a new room no apologies or anything just here is your new key . The front desk was not friendly, kind or helpful. The breakfast was impossible to eat if you don't eat pork. They put something that resembles ham in the powdered eggs and some strange watery floating meat. The oatmeal was not fresh and the fruit had been freeze dried. Booked this hotel because it had the best rating of stars of hotels in the area. Booked a room for 4 nights in October on Expedia. Got into west palm beach airport around 9:00 p.m. and drove straight to the hotel so arrived around 10:00 p.m. The lobby looked like they were renovating so not super inviting and there were some sketchy looking people walking around which I didn't like. I tried checking in with front desk and the woman said she couldn't find my reservation. Ok? So I wait as she calls her manager looking for it. She starts to get visibly and verbally flustered because she can't figure it out. She tells me there is also no availability. At that point I was getting impatient after 9+ hours of travel and driving. I asked her how is there no availability on a Tuesday of all days AND I booked it months in advance? She finally got me a room but needs to learn better customer service. I was on the ground level and just happy to get into a room. Water pressure in the shower sucked and water wouldn't drain. Bed was comfortable. Got a call early in the morning from front desk saying they were moving me to a renovated room. Ok with that at this point because I was a woman traveling alone and at one point some sketchy guys were watching me walk into my room which made me uneasy. I went to the front desk to get my new keys and the lady at the front counter (Amy?) was super friendly and professional. Much more so than the lady the previous night. She even offered me a bagged breakfast because I missed the free breakfast. The room I was moved to was on the 2nd floor close to the stairwell and exit (which made me feel much safer). It was very clean and comfortable. I really liked the rooms but I'm weary to stay here again because of the mishap with my check in (and some sketchers) plus they didn't have a bar.
