Staff were very nice and cool pool. But the owners are clearly not putting money into this aging property. One of the two elevators was completely broken and the other one worked only sometimes. Door handles were broken. Walls are thin and it is a party crowd that stays here. Got woken up at 2 am with people screaming in the halls. The water in the shower often stopped flowing mid shower. And they charge you a 29 night junk fee for amenities, but this isn't a resort, closer to a motel. The marriott brand has gotten really bad, I need to stop getting ripped of this greedy brand. read more

Checked in on 9/19/25 at around 00:35. I checked out on 9/22/25--my room was never serviced. No clean towels, made bed, emptied trash, etc. On 9/20/25 at 06:55, I inform the front desk (female with red hair) that my Netflix connection via the room TV was not functioning (it stopped mid-movie), nor was YouTube. I requested someone inspect as I'd be gone until 17:00. Her reaction was cavalier and I left unsettled. I returned that evening to an unclean room with no Netflix or YouTube. That evening I again approached the front desk. A male with red chin hair and a black female were at the desk. The male was on the phone, and the female was leaned over the desk on her cell. She never once asked, "Can I help you?" I left, walked away and went to dinner (Cracker Barrel). When I returned, I informed the male front desk worker of my issue. He replied he saw nothing in the hotel records that indicated an issue with my Netflix/YouTube TV connection. He stated he'd make a work-order. I explained I was leaving for training on Sunday (9/21/24) at 07:00 and I'd return at 17:00. I return Sunday evening and still no Netflix/Youtube connection. And still no room service. I gave up. Also, on 9/19/25 at 06:55, I went to the lobby for coffee and breakfast. I was told no breakfast because the power was out. How was the power out but my room had power all night? I have a CPAP machine and there were no issues. And the hotel doesn't have a backup generator? On Sunday (9/20/25) at 06:55, I again went to the lobby for coffee and breakfast. I had to be at school/training by 07:30 (down the street). I anticipated breakfast to be ready, in tinfoil trays and serve yourself. It took twenty-five minutes for bacon and the most disgusting scrambled eggs I've ever had. There was only me and another customer. The other customer had a salad. On 9/21/25 I enter the the lobby for coffee only. The young, female employee (why aren't they in uniforms? Why the street clothes?) is sweeping by the front desk. I order a coffee so that I can be on my way. The creamer was not out on display and she replied she'd make some. Make some?? I simply need nondairy creamer. And why is she sweeping and not prepping the creamers?? I waited for seven minutes and then left; had my coffee black. The female employee never returned. Also, the wall unit A/C doesn't function properly. It's loud all night even though the fan is set to auto. And the temp never changes. Also, why is there a thermostat on the wall when the wall unit appliance has a control panel? Incidentally, the thermostat doesn't communicate with the A/C unit. This is the culmination of leadership. It's obvious these employees are poorly managed and they fear no consequences. Customer service is not their priority. I've never experienced anything like this at a hotel. Who and where is the supervisor at this location?? read more

Hotel was really nice, clean, great room, friendly staff. The AC in the bedroom of a king suite we stayed in did not work. The phones were dead. Starbucks had an extremely sweet server who talked a heck of a lot but really knew her job. Overall it is not necessary courtyard quality standards but I guess it is slow season and they are not really pressed to accommodate. read more

I pre scheduled our stay for one night and did a virtual check in. Upon arrival the registration counter was easy to find and was quickly assisted in obtaining our room. I specifically requested a room not next to the elevator and was given the next room in. As we walked into the room we noted a smell of mildew and dropped the a/c temp from 76 to 71. Overall the room was clean and presentable. It was one am. When we got up and again dropped the a/c to 66 in order to attempt to cool the area. There were 3 of us in a room with a single coffee pod. But no worries as there is a Starbucks at the lobby. You should enjoy the lobby area as it has a bar and casual restaurant. Not a bad choice for location as it's next to I95. read more

I have stayed at this Marriott at Lost River many times and it has been fine, staff friendly. This time I was there for three nights and I was very disappointed. There were issues with the remote not working and upon request via phone, I never got a replacement until I went down to front desk the next day to ask again. The hair dryer did not work and I requested a replacement. When it didn't arrive in a resonable time, I went and found housekeeping and they took care of it. There was no regular coffee for the rooms and I was told that when I come down in the morning I could get a coffee at the Starbucks. first, our TV does not work. we had already fully unpacked and settled in. their 'guy' couldn't fix it. I asked them to move our things to the new room. they acted like I was crazy. I said fine, discount our stay $50. 25%. she said she didn't have the authority and no manager was available. I said this is a 24/7 business and there was always a decision maker on hand. after arguing with me forever, she finally admitted it and called her manager. Her manger said to refund our stay, making us move hotels after all of this. Meanwhile, my husband had turned down the bed only to find blood on the inside of the sheets. We had the privilege of booking our hotel block with the Courtyard Stuart and it did not disappoint! We received the Honeymoon Suite for the night of our wedding and it was everything we could have dreamed of. They had complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and champagne sent to our room before our arrival the night of our wedding. The room was so very spacious and it was very convenient that all our guest who booked with our code were located on the same floor. The location allowed for easy access to great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The whole process was super simple and the staff were so very friendly and on top of their stuff (communication was exceptional). I stay at this hotel whenever I am in this area, which is a lot. It's clean, friendly, and comfortable. The location is good to the interstate (it's a couple miles to get to the downtown Stuart area). About a mile down the road is a CVS type store, a Publix and couple other stores. Farther down on US1 is a Walmart and the downtown area. The young woman who checked me in was very nice and pleasant. When I stayed this time, I got a AAA rate that included breakfast for 2 at the Bistro in the lobby (it's also a Starbucks). I have to say, the breakfast was really delicious. I had some eggs over medium (perfectly cooked) with toast and really good potatoes (I'm a vegetarian, so I left off the meat that comes with it). The food came out hot and was so good. My friend had the egg sandwich which came with a little side of fruit. The menu says it's 2 scrambled eggs, but it looked more like 5!!! Both breakfasts were plentiful and good. If you have a chance to get the rate that will include the breakfast for only a couple dollars more, I recommend it. My room was the usual, 2 queens. The beds were comfy and the room spacious. The bathroom was spotless, as usual, and there were lots of big, fluffy white towels. There's a very nice area in the back of the hotel with a little covered area that has a fire-pit and a nice pool, and I think a grill. There's nothing behind the hotel, so it's a nice, quiet space. On a nice night, it's very pleasant to sit out there. Also, the lobby area has a business area, as well as several tables you can sit at. This is a very nice hotel and I will keep coming back. If I could complain about one thing, it would be that the hallway and my room had a rather strong smell of cleaning products. It wasn't a bad smell, and some people like flowery cleaning product smells, but I hate it. I don't like smells at all. By the morning, the perfumey smell in the hallway was gone, or I just got used to it. I wish they'd lay off the strong-smelling cleaning stuff. Other than that, great hotel. OH! One more thing - I loved this. There's a big parking lot (parking's free) in front of the hotel, and on the sides. In the front, there are 3 spaces for "Platinum" Marriott members (of which I am one!). I proudly pulled into one of the spots that was reserved for me! We laughed about it - such show-offs parking in the reserved area. But, it was nice that they accommodate those of us loyal Marriott members! It was cute! read more

The staff at this hotel are nice and the hotel is okay although it's older property, likely renovated but with a bathtub/shower and small TV that didn't work. However, the meal at their bistro was the worst meal we've ever had. The burgers were thinner than any fast food place, had no flavor, on a tiny roll, it had no tomato, onion, pickles or any condiments. It was $14 and served with a side of arugula with nothing on it. It was plain arugula or fries which they were out of. If the owner is behind this extreme cheapness, they should be embarrassed. Neither my husband or I have ever seen anything like it. read more

We stayed there for the softball babe ruth series and it was a horrible experience. The pillows were like jail or treatment like pillows where your head hit the bed even if you used 2 or 3 pillows. Most things were broken. I asked the "bartender to make a pina colada and he poured some cranberry juice and pineapple juice with rum in a glass and charged me $15.00. They said no birthday parties in the lobby to a black lady and a hispanic lady but allowed a white party in the lobby. I went to the desk and got 4 keys to 4 different rooms with no questions asked so I could have stole items from other peoples rooms. They never had towels available. Our breakfeast buffet always ran out of orange juice, eggs, cereal, milk and was not healty for the girls playing softball to keep they hydrated for the games. The cost of the rooms was not worth the space. When you pull out the couch you could not move around. Our rooms last year were so much better plus the service was better and the buffet in the morning was better. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The a/c didn't work well either. read more

This property gets five stars for their very friendly staff, well maintained rooms and the food at the bistro. It's obvious the staff takes pride in their work. Top notch service. The lobby area is large enough to allow several small groups to meet and maintain privacy which is a plus if you have to work.i'll definitely stay here when I'm working in the area. read more

I travel a lot and know a good hotel when I experience one. I could sense that this would be a good experience the minute I entered the lobby. The check in process was painless and friendly. Received the room I wanted for my kids and I. The lobby area is very appealing and functions as the hub for all of this small hotels activity. Expansive sitting area, small cafe and business center. Watched the soccer game, grabbed some drinks and snacks, and checked my email. Pool area is small as you would expect. It's not a resort. Fire pit and gazebo are nice features. Not the most convenient location but I'll trade that for cleanliness and comfortabilty. The rooms are nicely sized, tastefully appointed and immaculate. Furniture is tasteful and functional, the linens high grade and the beds comfortable. Had the feel of a smaller, high-end, boutique hotel in a big city. The Courtyards are generally well run and clean, but this location is definitely a step above this mid level of accommodation. Although it's a relatively new property it's got character and style. It's a place that you can feel secure and comfortable at. It's obvious that management cares about each visitors experience and understands that travelers have many choices. It shows in every manner in which you interact with this facility and it's employees. I would gladly stay here again when in the area. I REALLY enjoyed my stay at this Courtyard. First of all, THEY HAVE AN EFFIN' STARBUCKS INSIDE!!! Automatic win but there other reasons. Their Starbucks counter also served as their restaurant and bar (they called it The Bistro). Food was not bad! On my first morning, I especially enjoyed my Morning Starter breakafast sandwich...I've never had eggs that fluffy on a breaky-sammy before!! One night I decided to come down to the bar for a cocktail and while the drinks are a bit pricey, the bar tender's kindness made it worth it! That goes for the entire hotel staff, actually! Everyone had a great attitude and there was always someone willing to help. Also the front desk attendant I saw the most was English and adore that accent, she was an instant favorite of mine lol Lastly, I really liked the location of my room because I got the view of the open field and palm trees and it was just beautiful! Solid new-style Courtyard right off 95 and conveniently located (assuming your business is in Martin County and not down in Palm Beach). With limited competition in the immediate area, this has become my go to place for staying in Stuart when visiting family. Clean, modern fittings that work, comfortable beds, and a newly designed lobby with bells and whistles aplenty. Touch screens with local information literally at your fingertips, a giant screen reserved for free Wii play (which kept kids quietly occupied my whole stay), and a host of other features. Free Wifi, per Courtyard standards. Basically, anything you'd expect in the new style Courtyards is here and in great shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful - when I attempted to buy something from their little market, they spoke up and offered me some for free when I had my hand out ready to pay. Bathrooms are big and well designed - just be aware there is no tub, only a large stand up shower with a big glass door - very modern and trendy, but not what some might expect in an interstate exit h/motel. Stayed here along with the whole family the night before my wedding, and they made everything easy and were very helpful and accommodating. I'll be back the next time I visit. read more

The last room I stayed in was a king size bed, all dressed with comfy sheets, a down comforter and down pillows. Drive by Taking i95 exit number 101 and the hotel is right there behind Cracker Barrel. Across from McDonalds, DUNKIN Donuts. Pool was slightly heated. Jacuzzi was hot. Clean rooms, comfy beds and choice of pillows. There is a Starbucks in lobby, Bistro for fresh breakfast to order. Ask for the Shuttle to take you down town Stuart. Nice ! My husband and I have sold our house and were planning to spend our last night in the area at the Courtyard. It is in a great location, right beside Cracker Barrel and I-95. We have a cat who has traveled to Connecticut each summer for 6 years spending two nights in motels each way. We stopped to ask if they take pets and the young lady said yes we do then went on to explain that there is a $75.00 per night non-refundable pet fee for cleaning. I asked if I had heard right and she said that it is for the extra cleaning. Wow, your house cleaning service must be paid very handsomely. What about a cat would cost $75.00 extra to clean the room? I can guarantee that when we leave a motel room no one would know there had been a cat in it-----can the same be made for all children who stay? My feeling is they should just say they don't take pets. We won't be staying there. read more

We have an annual event each year in Stuart, and have stayed in two other area hotels in past years. This one is BY FAR the best one we have stayed in, in addition to being very reasonably priced for what you receive. The huge lobby/lounge area, tastefully decorated rooms, and incredible service are what make this hotel stand out. They have a restaurant in the lobby that is open for both breakfast and dinner. We had purchased the room rate that included the breakfast - and that was a great choice. My son (who eats A LOT) ordered two breakfasts each day in addition to my one, and that was still included in the rate. Also, Kelly, who works at the restaurant in the morning, is the sweetest! She was not only was very accommodating to my special dietary needs, but also provided fantastic service with a smile and greeted me by name each morning - which is impressive especially considering the hotel was very busy with people in town for the event. I've stayed at this hotel several times. It's very clean and the staff has always been extremely friendly. I checked in on 9-17-2016, Colin is very friendly and goes out of his way to help with any special requests. Well, we had a great stay until check out time. I did not get the desk clerks name, however he was not very nice. I approached the desk and there was no one else waiting, just myself and my grandsons. He glanced at me and said" you're gonna have to wait, I'm busy helping someone else . I responded, that's ok.I guess it must have been some invisible person he was helping. So then he finally looks at me and asks "what do you need"? I kindly told him I was just trying to check out. I am very disappointed with this employee. It won't stop me from staying again, just wanted the hotel management to know how this man treats the guests. As I said, I did not get his name . It was Sunday, September 18, apx 12:30pm. I'm sure they can check the schedule and see who was behind the desk at that time. He needs a lesson in how to treat the hotel guests. I felt as if I was a nuisance to him.
