I bought from afar and had the car shipped to me. What a mistake and I can put the blame for the…read moremost part on the salesman not the shippers!!! The delays from the sales staff were heartbreaking and the condition of the car I received was unbelievable. I prefer doing business with someone who is honest with you about the process. I felt ghosted for nearly a week waiting for word on the car title. To quote the salesman: "In top shape and is ready to go". When the car arrived, the battery couldn't be charged above 50% and so right off of the bat, it needed a H6 AGM battery. The intake hose to the turbo was cracked into two pieces and I couldn't drive the car for a while, no useable wiper blades because the edge was not attached, I couldn't and can't even get the key FOB out of the dash because of transmission/shifter issues that nobody cared to mention, so, if you want to steal the car, just pull the window down like they show you in Tik-tok and drive off! Of course my insurance won't cover car theft since I can't get the key out of the ignition due to this problem. It needed a complete brake job and 2 bulbs, I was informed about these items before it was shipped, none of the other issues were mentioned and according to Jayson these were the only issues, according to his mechanic. Then there was the overfull oil .6 quarts over, which will kill an engine, probably overfull to make up for the constant leakage all over the bottom of the motor. I'm OK with the scratches I couldn't see in the pic's and the door dings, those minor things I could somewhat expect but most sales staff will point out any issues. Not here! I'm lucky the engine runs at all and that it doesn't have worse transmission issues, they probably wouldn't have said a word. You want to trust people but let me assure you, you will be much better off in my opinion going to a decent dealership to find a car even if it will cost you a bit more. Very friendly and cordial to start out, but, don't get suckered in like the rest of us have. I read the bad reviews and thought, oh, that's just a few out of a lot of sales. More than likely, it probably is just a few of those willing to take the time to warn you after seeing the reality of doing business with this place. I took the time to warn you also! I hope you find a good car from a good dealership at a fair price. Keep looking :)

I left work 2 hours early and I drove all the way there which took me an hour. I walked the complex and didn't see the suv . He didn't even care enough to stop putting the plate on to speak to me . They don't care about their customers. I think there was more to the car not being there because they have a mechanic shop on site . Why wouldn't they do their own oil change . Stay away

The current 2024 Jeep Wrangler I had, had a recall and it was causing my Wrangler to be not drivable and the fix could take over a week. I was in a time crunch, I am military, I had a military school to report to in SC in just a few days, I would have had to uber to EWR airport, fly to NC, go to military school, fly back to NJ and pick up my 2024 Wrangler and drive back to NC. They put a deal together that paid off the existing loan on the problematic Jeep I had, rolled over the negative equity but with military rebates and other incentives they washed this out for me basically. And they then got me leased into a brand new 2026 same jeep same color with huge added features to it. Yes "by the numbers" in the long run if I purchase the residual at the end of my lease I will have ended up paying more, BUT with my 2024 financed jeep running out of warranty (extended warranty cost $4k-$6k) and having issues I most likely would have paid just as much if not more on that over the next 4.5 years or the life of the loan. Not to mention they lowered my monthly and raised the mileage on the lease for me too, no inflation on pricing there whatsoever. Also! I had a roof rack and aftermarket side steps on my jeep, and the service team did all that work for me to transfer it to my 2026 leased Wrangler, BUT the roof rack wouldn't fit properly on the 2026, they did go above and beyond and look at if they could cut pieces off of out to make it fit for me, I was truly impressed they would try that and do that extra effort. I ended up leaving it with them for the time being and they were very accommodating of that. Either way I am completely satisfied with this entire teams' customer service. Highly, HIGHLY recommend if you are a service member or first responder and there are rebates and deals for you to come talk with them!

ONE- plates took longer than usual. (We've purchased several cars in NJ prior to this and never had a problem. TWO- get a call today to let us know plates are in (finally!) but, they didn't collect enough from us at the time of sale and want us to pay $125 to get them. They are out of their minds. We have a contract with fees spelled out. If they "messed up" that's on them. We'll be in court before we pay another dime to this dealership -I'll also notify PENNDOT because they apparently overcharged for sales tax claiming it's paid on MSRP and not sale price.

Truth be told it was anything but. And for that I have to give all the credit to Kerri Villani my Senior Sales Consultant, that's who this review and the five star rating is about, she made this easy and painless. The first thing she asked me was what was I looking for and she wasn't talking model, I told her I wanted to lower my monthly payment. She explained a few numbers to me, we agreed on the money down and she said give me a minute. Kerri came back with a price $35 lower than my current monthly payment. The deal was done. No haggling, no negotiations, no multiple trips to see what the Sales Manager said. My wife recently got a different make car, that deal took seven hours. Seven hours! I was back in my kitchen with my new Honda parked outside in three hours. Kerri Villani is the best! And I look forward to saying that about Hamilton Honda too. So far first impressions are excellent, after all they allow Kerri to conduct business in the style she does. That and my Civic came with free oil changes and free car washes for as long as I have the car. We're off to a great start!

However, there is an expectation that the dealer has done a full inspection of the vehicles they're selling and that they will disclose any major issues to you. This is not the case with Absolute Auto. My 19 year old daughter purchased a car from them. She paid every penny she had saved, $4,100. We brought it to the mechanic, thinking the brakes might need replacing. We paid $1,100 to have the sub-frame bushings replaced. Less than 30 days later, she was broken down on the side of the highway. We had it towed to our mechanic who told us there were two holes in the engine and it would need to be replaced. $3,700. When all is said and done, we will be out almost $9,000 for a crappy old 2007 Nissan. If you're thinking of going here, think again. I have filed a consumer complaint against them, so hopefully something will come of that. Just wanted to also put this out there, so some other unsuspecting Mother/Daughter duo don't get robbed. You can tell by not only the reviews, but by their defensive and disgusting responses to their customer base how awful they truly are. When my son got there, the issues started immediately. First, the listing photos were clearly taken at angles that hid major cosmetic damage. There were extreme scratches down one side of the car, a dent on the roof, and another scrape on the back that were not clearly shown in the pictures at all. Then my son got into the car and a warning light came on saying the power steering system had failed. The seller himself couldn't even reverse the car out of the parking spot. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he had my sons follow him on the highway to another garage just to diagnose the issue, only to then say it would take two hours or more to fix the problem. After they drove all that way and took time off work, he still wouldn't budge on the price or make any effort to accommodate them. No accountability, no professionalism, and no respect for other people's time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from this guy.
