Had dinner here on Tuesday evening. The venue is beautiful and well decorated. If you like sitting…read moreat a table, there are few to choose from. Most of the seating is alfresco (wear layers), and on outdoor lounges. It's a great place to grab a drink and snack before the movies. There was no dinner menu, which seemed a bit bizarre. There was a breakfast and lunch menu, but there were only shared plates on offer from 3pm onward. We got a broad selection of food and the portions were more generous than we anticipated, so keep in mind it is great for groups. We shared the warm olives (good), the truffle arancini balls (decent), the grilled halloumi (yum), sweet potato fries (yum), and the trio sliders (not recommended). The sliders were super disappointing, all super dry. If we hadn't ordered those we would have needed another shared plate to compensate. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked good, I wish we had tried the prawns instead. There were a lot of comments on GOOGLE about poor service, but we thought it was good service with a friendly staff and the food was sent out super quick. I'd like to think we would go back, but not for dinner. Most likely drinks on the patio and maybe some small bites.

I recently learned that Howard Wright-- a major investor and director of this establishment--was…read morefined for driving "in a dangerous manner" in an incident that involved a 12-year-old boy on an e-bike. A joke of a punishment for the crime. On video you can see this sick man speed up in a Audi, intentionally, to hit a child on a bike on the side of the road out of traffic. He proceeds to scream at the child, while the child pleaded for his life. I hope karma does her magic. Even more concerning is how Mr. Wright seemed to justify his actions by blaming the child's bike as "illegal," rather than genuinely acknowledging the danger and illegality his own driving posed. I expect higher ethical standards and community responsibility from anyone at the helm of a hospitality business. While the restaurant itself may serve somewhat average food or drinks, I personally cannot support an establishment whose leadership shows such disregard for safety and empathy--especially when a young child's wellbeing is at stake. Until clear accountability and genuine remorse are demonstrated, I'll be dining elsewhere. If you care about patronizing businesses that reflect your values, I would encourage you to consider taking your money and support elsewhere, too. The experience at these venues sucked before these events occurred too, every other option nearby provide a way better experience. Terrible for family photos. Terrible lighting

There are heavy curtains hanging and behind one lot of curtains was the pool table. Tables and chairs a plenty so your sure to get a seat. They have a small nibble menu and the Italian meatballs were full of flavour and came out in this cute cast iron frypan with bread on the side. I ordered a Peroni beer and fell over backwards as it arrived in a 500ml glass. They also had a special going that is you order a pizza and two 300 ml Peroni beers you pay $25. This cafe wine beer bar had friendly staff and is an Italian bar. Definitely worth a visit if you want to meet up with friends over a quiet drink.

Thanks to Yelpers, I got to enjoy this place (along with others on Bulimba's popular Oxford St)…read more Hands down, this is our favorite among the many options. Patrons are happily packed into this small establishment, with inside and outside seating. At first you think the place is busy because they offer carefully selected craft beers on tap. But it's this and so much more; they've a full bar that allows them to feature delicious craft cocktails, and a very nice wine offering. I appreciate purveyors who have narrowed their offering so you can't make a bad decision. The staff is fantastic too. Friendly, helpful and efficient. All this gets them to 5-stars, despite my high standards, but then the food starts to arrive... Their offering of "morsels" are excellent! Presentation, check. Value, check. Quality, check. Deliciousness, star, star, star. The morsels are perfect for sharing but be warned: you won't want to share. I've tried the lineup and all impressed. Wish I could give the Oxford Tap House more stars!

The location is quite convent surrounded by many restaurants and cafes in Bulimba, if your coming from the city it is a definite stop on your night out. The interiors are quite pleasing with good lighting and plenty of wooden finishes. To the back of the venue there is two long tables for larger groups however you may need to get in quick to claim those for the evening. The exterior of the bar has floor to ceiling glass windows and a wooden deck facing the street. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the large variety of beers and cocktails as I was the designate drive for the evening I'll sure be back to try those. Thanks Dave
