Any place that has excellent food and 3 pinball tables gets my tick of approval. Plenty of new beers to try as well.

I'd been waiting for my next inter-state trip to Queensland to finally come visit this brewery and…read moreI was not disappointed! The brewery is located in an industrial park about 25-30mins drive outside of Brisbane CBD (approx. $50 cab ride or $40 UberX oneway). We were pleasantly surprised to find the brewery buzzing when we arrived, a game of Cornhole underway in the front outdoor area, tables filled with beer paddles & a food truck (Puerto Taco) churning out delicious tacos to make sure we had a stomach lining while we tasted all their delicious beer. The inside bar/brewery/seating area is cozy, tables adorned with lamps made from old ten pin bowling pins, a games area upstairs as well as other board games to master at your tables while you drink. The bar itself has plenty of taps meaning they can have plenty of rotating beers on show and also keep a decent bottle list for dine-in or takeaway too. And of course this leads me to their beer, I was already a fan before I arrived but Bacchus put out some really creative & interesting craft beers, meaning you'll more than likely find something to drink whether you're a beer snob, beer n00b or non-beer drinker (everyone has to try the Lamington Dark Ale, the nose alone will sweep you away to Lamington-land :p).

Not only is the beer awesome the staff are just as nice. If you can't find a beer here that you…read morelike then if you stick to your xxxx. We live in the Northside but for sure will be back here again. Awesome times!!

Normally I'm pretty good at keeping secrets, but in this case, I refuse. I wish this gorgeous…read morelittle place wasn't so isolated but I guess some of the best shops are. It's easy enough to find and very easy to identify with clothing out the front. There are also some old bicycles out the front with so much vintage quality that the first image that came to my mind was Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck haphazardly riding one of them. This place is littered with all things Vintage: on the walls, on racks, hanging, draping, sitting, resting, everywhere. There's even a lovely little record player you can marvel at. It's obviously a house that's been transformed into a shop and every room you move through is a new adventure with new things to play with. There's a sweet little selection of clothing and I didn't see one item of it exceed $40. And the tag not only features the price of the piece, it also identifies what era it belongs to. Lovely. Boys, be happy too; in other shops you're usually assigned one rail if you're lucky. Here, you get a whole room complete with cowboy boots to try on. Grab a coffee while you sing along to "Under the Boardwalk" and then take some time to pop downstairs and browse the furniture. The back stairs give way to a den-like basement that holds this part of the store with things including an old keyboard, television, suitcase, and a bundle of chairs that look like they were lifted straight from your grandma's living room. This place is the collective creation of two lovely ladies who obviously live and breathe all things vintage, and I'm definitely a fan of their work. It's a novelty little place with so much charm and potential. Massive snaps to whoever did their design and logo as well, because that was a really enticing factor for me.

Hey, I'm not a big vintage clothes buyer so posting a review here is probably a little cheeky. I…read morejust wanted to add my 2cents though and say that I'm very VERY pleased that the girls here stock clothes that are size 12 and 14. There is a very cool vintage clothes store in West End that also posts pics of their wares on Instagram and Facebook but I've notice it only seems to have size 8 and 10. Huh? Marilyn Monroe would be disgusted! So, thank you CYKAS - keep stocking 12s and 14s. Us 'real' curvy women will love you forever. And keep posting your clothes on IG and FB. You have the best stuff. For the record, I ended up buying a beautiful wool cape which I wore to a wedding recently. Now a firm favourite in my wardrobe.
