They have daily happy hours and other deals on food and drinks that vary depending on the day and the deal, some of these include buy one main meal and get the second one for 5$. The bar/bistro is great for a few drinks after work or for a romantic meal for two. The outside area is perfect during spring and summer nights when the weather is good and for those who enjoy people watching it's the perfect winter daytime spot. They have live music nights on Thursdays and Fridays from about 7 pm onwards boasting some great local acts. They are open from 7 am to 2am daily so really any time you want to stop in is fine. It's also located right across the road from the Stones Corner bus station so is great for public transports which you might consider taking as parking is not all that abundant. So if you are after a nice night chilled out night or some afternoon drinks this could be the right place for you.

When they bought the business, it essentially became one part fancy restaurant (which is great), one part sports bar - the T-Bar. This is where non-dinner patrons mostly hang out, and you'll find your locals having a laugh with each other here. There's something wrong if 95% of your T-Bar customers are outside in the smoking area. It could be that they're socialising, but another key reason is to avoid the music and saturation of "the games." The bar is coated in advertising too, which makes me sad, and the last bar area to close where you won't annoy diners is the pokies room. The bar closes at midnight, I'm fairly sure. Seems I'm always still there when they want to close. Once during the week (Thursday, I recall) we were there celebrating my birthday in the T-Bar when we were told to move into the restaurant at 9pm! That was disappointing, as then we didn't feel that comfortable sitting among diners when we just wanted to have drinks and be ourselves. Maybe that was just my reflection.

I'm a fan of beer. Ok that's a lie. I'm Obsessed with beer and Brews Brother is my de facto temple…read moreof devotion to this delicious alcoholic beverage. Where do I start with this place? Let's describe it first in very concrete terms. It's a DYI brewery with everything you need to brew your own 50L keg of beer. Let me please reiterate this: 50 L of beer. 140 long neck. Brews Brothers provides the malts, sugars, hops, yeasts and even the large vats to cook your desired concoction. Don't have a family recipe? Have no fear. They have a beer menu of literally hundreds of different styles of beer (check the website). My friends and I have brewed several kegs and I've personally enjoyed most the Belgian Tripel and Tokyo Superdry. The former is a dark smooth beer with the consistency of Duvel while the latter is like an Asahi or Kirin. If you've never brewed or bottled beer, the staff is always available to lend a hand throughout the process. They're incredibly helpful and chill even when there are a lot of people in the store. So let's say you don't want to brew 50L but you still want to sample the wide range of beers. What can you do? There are a couple options and yes I've tried them all: - 6 pack variety ($15-20 depending on the types of beer you choose) - 24 pack carton ($30-40 if you bring your own bottles - they tend to have 10-15 different types of beer on type to choose from and you effectively just bottle one of those kegs yourself without having to do the entire brewing process from the start) - ready-made 50L keg ($150-200 for the beer + $50L for keg rental) We did this for a house party and it was well worth it! Honestly I could go on and on about this place but there's no substitute for actually visiting. Grab a couple friends and go! I promise you won't regret it.

We've all been there before. You decided one summer that you wanted to start making homebrew. You…read moredidn't do something right and your brew got infected, or you didn't add enough sugar when bottling, (or some other problem happened) and you ended up with a whole lot of nasty beer and vowed never to try it again. You should try again because Brews Brothers is here to stop you from messing it up a second time around. Brews Brothers looks like an old office space that's had it's guts ripped out and has been transformed into a brewer's paradise. You've got your brew kettles, brew fridges, and bottling stations set up spick and span for your use. All the brews are 50 litres (144 330ml stubbies), and will set you back anywhere from $150 to $200. Depending on what brew you choose to make, it will take from two weeks up to a month to complete the process and walk out with your 50 litres. You are of course, welcomed to bring in your own recipe and try it out. They've got all the hops, malts, sugars, and grains you need to do whatever you want. The guys are really friendly, they know their beer and they're keen as mustard to get in there and help you put on a brew. You can buy beer from them outright without having to make it yourself too. There's also a space upstairs that they rent out to musos and bands on weekends. It costs $60 per hour (please check website), and you have to buy $150 worth of their beer. The best thing about making your own beer is that you can make a tonne of brew specially designed to your acquired tastes on the cheap that won't give you a hangover because it's preservative and chemical free. You also learn something about science while you're at. How can you argue with that?

It features all of the regular things you would expect - pokies galore beeping and flashing, low-cost meal options complete with Seniors Specials and garish carpet that looks a little bit like a disco spewed all over the floor. I have dined at the club twice now, and both times enjoyed an above average leagues club experience. The menu at Drysdales Brasserie while not expansive, offers low-cost options that cover the standard "pub grub" you would expect. Pick up a roast complete with vegetables, a "seafood platter" or a steak sandwich here with no fuss. On my most recent trip I selected the Chicken Wrap. It was toasted, and featured spring onion, semi-dried tomatoes and lots of cheese among the large amount of chicken. It was very flavorsome with fresh ingredients and came with a half plate of chips and a bottle of softdrink or water of your choice (375ml) for just $12.50. My colleagues opted for the Chicken and Lamb Sliders, presented in a similar meal with chips and a drink. They all advised the burgers were tasty, fresh and the chips were just as they should be. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area which was deserted during our visit, although be mindful of displaying the various table numbers you will be given when you order. We all mused that the traditional "beeper" might have been a better arrangement in a place this size. The Easts Leagues Club won't change your world, but it will offer a reasonably priced meal with clean surroundings and all of the amenities you might want from a club. Just beware the median age is approximately 95 years old.
