In the ordering process we could request to have a local company contact you about doing the installation. Being one that no longer likes climbing ladders and want the work done right from the start, I selected the option. I was quickly contacted by a representative from Mr. Electric the next morning, scheduled an appointment for a quote on the installation. The next morning one of their technicians came out to quote the work. While the technician was there I asked about repairing some work that I had done myself and wasn't working correctly. The technician quickly worked up a price and had my screw up fixed in less time than I had to fix my breakfast. While eating my breakfast our technician gave a free safety inspection of all the switches, outlets, smoke and gas detectors inside and outside the house. After my breakfast was finished, I had my screw up fixed, a quote and scheduled date for the fixture installation, along with assurance in all the electrical work in the house, and a full belly. The only thing I had to do was cook my breakfast, and I'm sure they probably would've done that too if I asked. I definitely recommend this team for electrical work at your house.

Hello. I have been fixing up my old huber heights house during covid and the one thing I know I am…read morenot qualified to work on is electric stuff. With my luck I would probably accidentally burn my house down trying to change out a light fixture!! So I looked at BBB for some quality electricians in the Dayton area and came across a few. I decided to go with Bates electric because they had fix pricing on ceiling light installations, were very friendly over the phone and the reviews online were wonderful. When the date of my service came, they arrived early to my appointment, were friendly, observed all covid guidelines and installed everything in a timely matter. I now have ceiling lights in all my bedrooms and in my living room. Plus my wallet is very happy because it did not cost me an arm and leg! *The only thing to note is they have a 3% charge on card payments so keep your checkbook handy.

He seem rather annoyed when I asked him to check if he had any. I also carry some as we've had a lot of contractors come by. In any case, so much for transparent pricing. Charged $150+ to diagnose a panel, and offered half-a-fix. I was expecting $100 as I stood there and watch them take 5 minute to test if there's any voltage on the breakers. They did literally nothing else. They did not disclose the diagnostic fee before coming out. They offered to replace 2 of the 3 breakers because the other one is a gfci and they don't carry it? How about quote the gfci breaker and go buy it from Home Depot. Why the hell would I want 2/3 of my equipment repaired? Asked for a quote for a panel replacement, and it was about 2000$. They saw the large home and went on their Highway robbery scheme.
