After posting this complaint I was contacted by the company and, after checking their records, they agreed that the situation was not handled properly and voluntarily removed the charge from my account. While I am satisfied with the resolution and I thank them for it they should have looked into the history before it came to me having to post this review. They have renewed my overall confidence in their business practices and am willing to write this one up as an isolated bad experience. read more

I about three times inquiring about having a Wi-Fi installed after about three weeks. They finally found some were supposed to be $325 plus installation. They $50 to the price of the Wi-Fi unit making it 375 and then their trip fee was $90 And then on top of that they had a $90 an hour fee so the whole thing ended up being $230 more what the module cost seems like a little Greek inflation to senior was no longer feasible for us to buy the Wi-Fi unit, so I think people need to be aware at prices I mean, if a man with a it me six dollars. I'm usually pretty tough on contractors. I get a bit on thr retentive side wanting everything done perfectly. These guys were fantastic . They installed a whole home generator. It was a lot of work. The work was professional, efficient and they were certainly courteous and friendly. They do a great job of respecting the homeowner's property. For example, they always were booties before they came into the house. They cleaned up after themselves. They strive to keep their physical impact on the property to a bare minimum. And they even took, (it makes me laugh just think about it) the extra step giving the gas feed valves a bit of tender loving care by giving it some new paint because it was a bit tired looking. They explained how the system works And told us what we would want to know. However the truth of it is that system is so automated that you could almost forget it's there. It's not cheap to install a system but the cost of not putting one in could be even greater. Think of it I like an insurance policy. You hope you never need it but relieved When it's there to support you and your family when things are not going good. I certainly don't wanna be the one responsible for my family being cold because I was unwilling to protect them with an electric back up system. read more

I was on vacation back in 2020 when Bonham updated our electric panel & installed a generator interlock. I'm on vacation this week, when I made use of the interlock! We lost power here at home about an hour ago, so I started up the generator & attached it to the interlock before our house got too hot. Backup power is a GOOD THING. Thanks, Bonham! read more

When I used certain plugs, a fuse would blow. Bonham electric impressed me by sending the younger generation to repair my problem, these guys are fast, respectful, educated, and good listeners. I did price comparing and this company has very responsible prices. read more

I want to thank Bonham Electric for coming out & fixing my electric breaker which had gone bad. They were booked two weeks out but due to us not having any hot water sense our new one was installed last week they said they didn't want us going without hot water any longer. They took the time & fit us in the next day. They did a great job & put in a new outlet also. They were VERY RESONABLE TOO! The men that came were very nice & the girl on the phone was great also. This company is extremely efficient. Rates are reasonable. They are on time and explain everything. They are no. 1 in my book.

The people I interacted with were friendly and generally willing to meet my needs. However, the quality of the work you get largely depends on the team (i.e. two guys) you get from Bonham, and I was quite displeased with the quality of work I received from my assigned team. Installation of electrical boxes/receptacles/panels were crooked, and some outlets that were wired were not compliant with the national electric code (NEC). Bonham was willing to fix their mistakes at no additional charge, but the frequency of issues just became a hassle to deal with. In the end, I just couldn't trust that they would provide professional quality work and decided not to go with them any further. read more

The devil is in the details. Even though the electric installation job was fine as to functionality, I cannot recommend Bonham at this point. Twice when installing wiring through our attic, did the electricians drill down through our walls. The first time we found it after they left and we had a painter in the house who charged us a fee to patch the hole. The next time they came, the walls were freshly painted and they AGAIN drilled down through the wall- barely missing my new cabinet. Instead of fixing it they told us to fix it ourselves and send them a bill. In my opinion good electrician knows how to patch up their own mistakes - so I am dissatisfied. Also there were numerous pencil marks left around the outlets which I could not wash off so I will have to touch up paint. They need to pay better attention to detail. read more
