In April 2021, I had the power line from the service pole to the second floor of my home torn from its mount at the roofline on my second floor as a result of strong gusting winds during the night. After the mounting studs and siding were replaced, I contacted Reliable Electric to rework and repair my downed lines. Ryan Broyles came out the next day and gave me an estimate for repairing the damaged lines as well as upgrading my service to 200 amps, installing a transfer switch for a portable generator, and, adding a line for my electric garage door opener. Ryan was professional, friendly, and quite helpful. I found the estimate quite reasonable and asked them to do the work. Although, as a result of the storms through this area, I had to wait two weeks for their techs, Cody Myers and Paul Anthem to come, when they arrived, they did an excellent job, were responsive to my questions and concerns, and as far as I could tell took no breaks. And even though the weather was rainy, they worked between showers to get the outside work finished. I am quite pleased with the results. I would give Reliable an all around A+ and they will certainly be my first choice for any future electrical work. read more

From the beginning through the completion of my job, all of my phone calls with Rhonda and Angie were handled professionally and cheerfully. They were both knowledgeable and helpful with wanting to address my questions or connect me with the correct person to do so. These ladies make a GREAT first impression for Reliable Electric. I also can't say enough about ALL the electricians who worked through the completion of my job beginning with Ryan. He explained all the reasons why various aspects of the job needed done. His follow up throughout the job was phenomenal. As the job progressed, Ben, Cody, Jimmy, John, Brian and Jordan all demonstrated professionalism and competance in completing the necessary work. EVERY person mentioned above went out of their way from start to finish of the job to insure my satisfaction with their completed work. Because of a unique medical situation, with my son with special needs, ALL members of the Reliable Electric team made sure our electrical needs were completed to aid in his care. I absolutely cannot speak more highly about this company!! I will use them for all my electrical needs and HIGHLY recommend Reliable Electric. Julie K read more

I used Reliable Electric last week for a switch problem with my lights. This company is so good I waited a week to have my problem looked at. I didn't have an emergency. I had a problem where the laundry room lights wouldn't work but you could turn on the garage lights and then the laundry lights worked. Woody and Austin came out. They were on time and very respectful. They put booties on their feet so not to hurt my wood floors. They diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. They did the repair within 7 minutes. They asked if they could shut off the circuit breaker to work on the repair. I asked if I should have my other outlets checked and Woody explained no need for the extra cost. He said be aware if the lights start flickering then call. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend. I have 1 suggestion for them to allow a certain amount of time each day for an emergency appointment. I was lucky not to have an emergency. What if I did and couldn't get an appointment right away. read more

We have used reliable electric for probably close to 20 years and they have always done a terrific job on every need we had. They installed new outlets where we needed them, fixed old outlets that didn't work, replaced switch switches with new ones, updated in modern hours our electric, And fixed the outdated wiring problems when we got ready to sell our home. And that last work was done at less than half the cost of what the electrical inspector the buyer hired to inspect the property said it would cost! Well, they may not be the most expensive electricians in the area, I have no doubt that they are the best! I like the fact that they explain things so we understand what they're doing and why, and that they get the job done right and get it done quickly. My wife and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are simply the best at what they do. I lived all over the country in my lifetime and I have never met service people who were this good and this friendly and this reasonable. read more

Last year we had Reliable Electric install a Generac whole-house backup generator, and opted to include their 3-year maintenance plan. The generator has come in handy since then during two separate blackouts, running for a total of 15-16 hours without issue (other than making the neighbors jealous). Recently Paul came out for the periodic maintenance. He reminded me ahead of time that I didn't need to be present, as he could do the maintenance without needing access to the inside of the house, which freed up my schedule. He finished the maintenance quickly, professionally, and without disrupting our schedules. I probably could maintain the generator myself, but unlike Paul, I'd probably break something in the process, and as I get older I realize some things are probably best left to the professionals ;). I highly recommend Reliable Electric for backup generators or any of your other electrical needs. read more

A couple of years ago, I had Reliable install strip-style task lighting under my kitchen cabinets. After about 3 weeks, one section "went dark". Reliable came back to my home to fix, and found it was a loose-goosey connection in the wiring. Well, it happened again last month, and I called for another repair. Paul, my technician, found the same issue this time, which was determined to be a manufacturer's design flaw. He applied a sauter-style fix, which is determined to be more effective and long-lasting. Neither house call from Reliable was billed to me, as they handled it as a warranty item. I still love my task lighting and have employed Reliable for some years now. And this event tells you why. Honest, caring, trustworthy. Reliable. You get what you pay for. read more

I called and spoke with Matt Hook concerning our electric problem. Matt had performed work at our home prior to this call. Our problem was the ceiling fan. It did not come on through the remote. I realized I had not told workers who were installing a floor to only use the remote. When I talked with Matt, he was very helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful with us. Considering we were dumb and dumber in realizing what to do to turn the light back on. Nonetheless he was calm and not critical in any way but definitely customer oriented. To conclude, there is a chain to pull in the center of the fan light. Point made. Reliable Electric, you have an excellent employee in Matt who is the best representative you can have for your company. Thank you read more

I have an older house from the 50's and the electric had never had a good going over to check working order. I had a number of outlets that were almost falling out of the walls, as well as a tangled mess in one of the wall boxes in my garage. I had 5 strapping young men come into the house in the morning and they carefully went through everything to make sure it was done properly. They added a light over my stove so I could see what I'm cooking, and lights and covered plugins outside. They were very nice, and very professional, made sure they asked me how I wanted things and gave me a wonderfully pleasant experience. I will use them for anything electrical that I need in the future. Great bunch of guys, and terrific business!! Thanks !!! Linda H read more

Rarely do companies actually follow through with a real service recovery process for issues that come up unexpectedly along the way -- but this team really has done an incredible job in accepting the responsibility for an error and taking the necessary time and resources to assess the situation fully and then respond in a very appropriate manner. Mistakes absolutely happen in any industry, it's the people that then have to respond to them that make or break the relationship in any recovery process, and this team has absolutely proven how great they are at recovery and how true they are to their word to the customer. These are good people and they deserve the recognition they get for the good work they provide. read more

We were very pleased with Reliable Electric. Their customer service was clearly superior to other reputable businesses we requested an estimate from. They had a live person to answer the phone and they handled questions etc efficiently and promptly. They followed through with our estimate quickly so we could schedule our work as soon as possible. We were very pleased with the technicians that came to our home to do the work( Jimmy D and Garrett A). They were considerate of our home, landscaping, and our dogs while they were here. They were neat and cleaned up when the job was done. I felt respected and they went out of their way to ensure the work went smoothly. Thank you for a job well done:) read more

While I was deciding to get electrical work done, Jordan came to the house and assessed the job, answered questions, and wrote out a detailed proposal. During communications with the office, Brianna was polite and efficient. I selected Reliable Electric to make several additions to the home: outside lighting, wall heater, ceiling fans, and additional outlets. Cody and Ben arrived each morning and made a plan that would enable them to complete the day's tasks efficiently. They worked hard and wasted no time. They were pleasant, and it was comfortable having them in the house. After completing the work, they did a careful cleanup. I was very pleased with the entire Reliable experience. read more

Reliable Electric's Paul Anthem solved a show-stopping problem with an electronic controller in our water system. The plumber had diagnosed it as a burned out relay, with a replacement part available for $65 - plus labor. But Paul patiently and methodically troubleshot and traced the problem to nothing more than several corroded terminals, and wires broken or disconnected. He fixed these problems, and verified that the entire water system is now working correctly. Paul was timely, knowledgeable, professional, did a great job, and charged us a reasonable price for his time and expertise. I trust Reliable Electric, and will call them for all our future electrical needs! read more

During a huge renovation project of my business, we hired Reliable Electric for the job. The 2 electricians that came out, Mike Blair and Emily Amburgey , not only did a fantastic job for me but were very polite to my staff and if were near any customers entering my store, they would say hi and were friendly to them as well! Even though I would tell them I would sweep up after them, they insisted on cleaning up their work space. They were on time all three days they were here and went above and beyond to help with any questions I had. I was more than pleased with the 2 that came out and the company in general. I will certainly call them with any future projects! -Carrie read more

Electric went out in my condo on Saturday after a Friday night storm. I called the utility company and was told it would be more than four hours before they could look at it. I called two other electric companies and "left a message". I never heard back from them. I called Reliable. Aaron quickly returned my call. Aaron showed up. When he did the power was on again. It went off after a few minutes and Aaron was able to determine the problem was outside my unit. Aaron was then quickly able to get my service up and running. Aaron was extremely nice. I've never used Reliable before but they are in my phone now. I never did hear back from the utility company. read more

Our huge job required three separate visits. First Matt fixed a small problem and patiently explained what he'd found in our very old wiring. Then Ryan came out, walked through with us, and helped us decide on how to get our home up to code. The A+ Team of Woody, Sean, Elgin and Jordan worked our 4 story house from attic to cellar, pulling nasty old knob and tube, upgrading outlets, and communicating with us on every step. They were tired and filthy at the end, but they still took time to clean up everything, even vacuuming and straightening my laundry room back up. PS Jeff showed on the final day to help get it all done. Just the best crew ever. read more

I have been using and referring Reliable Electric since 2018. They are the very BEST in my opinion. My most recent experience is the installation of my Whole House Generac Generator. It is such a relief to have this unit up and running, as I am quite certain we will continue to experience more power outages as we have for the past 17 years. The Reliable Electric teams who have worked at our house have been the best. Most recently, we have had technician, Jordan and he has been excellent, just like all of the others. I will continue to refer Reliable Electric, because they truly are RELIABLE! read more

Brandon and Brian did an amazing job of installing LED recessed lighting into a very high-vaulted ceiling that had limited attic access. Their skillful approach meant they didn't need to cut into the drywall and require ceiling repairs. With five disk lights strategically placed, I now have a fully illuminated room with dimmer that provides the daylight I need for art, sewing and crafts. They were very courteous and worked carefully to minimize dust and prevent any damage to furniture or items on display. What's more, they saw that I got a senior discount. It was a great value. I couldn't be happier! read more

On 3/19, Reliable Electric sent Woody and Sean out to do some much needed work on our electricity. They did an amazing job, however later that night we had a breaker flip off, band we couldn't figure out why. Tuesday morning we called Reliable and by 10:00 AM Jordon was here to check out the problem. It took a while to figure things out, buy Jordan was patient, and very diligent, found the problem and an answer and fixed the problem. We are continually impressed with the workmanship, and results we have seen from this amazing company. Thanks again, to Jordan, Sean and Woody! Ray and Jody Prater read more

just had Ben and Jamie here to change out a breaker on my old out dated crazy wired thing I call a panel. Along with most things in life nothing is as what it seems and I was worried I was about to spend an arm and a leg with being charged by the hour but these two were absolutely amazing after looking at this mess for a few seconds they were able to find and fix problem within minutes! They were very clean, professional and friendly. Both my pets and daughter loved them I wish I could give them more of a review but they were in and out so quickly. Definitely recommend these guys!! read more
