    Breakfast Burrito
    Joe M.

I pass by this place offend when I am going to another place for breakfast on 4th & Grand. But today, I wanted to try somewhere new and a quick place to pick up a burrito. So I drove over to try this place out. I had their Breakfast burrito. The two people there who greeted me were super friendly. I believe this is a family owned business. Right/ I had their breakfast burrito. I like it. Big! more than I needed. But it was a good tasting burrito. Big chunks of ham, if you like ham. Not sure I tasted the bacon. I will be back to try another dish for sure.

Stopped here on my way to an event at the Long Beach Arena. I've seen this place many times before but never got a chance to drop by. Glad I did. The menu is simple, one for Breakfast and one for lunch. The interior was decently clean and exterior as well. No restrooms unfortunately, although I understand since there are many homeless in the area. Staff was friendly and professional. Really loved that everything was handmade as soon as you order, nothing was already pre-made. Even the orange juice is freshly squeezed. Definitely have to come back, I recommend this spot to anyone who is going towards the waterfront at Long Beach if you haven't had breakfast.

Food is delicious! The servings are very hearty and filling. Staff is always so kind and welcoming!

Bomb breakfast burritos. I don't love ham, so I do wish there was a meatless burrito (or a discount for not having meat in my burrito). Super friendly staff and quick service! They had some cute Christmas decorations up and you could help decorate their tree which was really nice. Love the water dispenser and to go cups for hot sauce.

    Welcome!

What a solid place to get a breakfast burrito. I will say I'm so used to my BIG BREAKFAST BURRITOS but this one here.... It's still filling and has tons of flavor! I was next door doing laundry and decided to walk over and try this place out, I know it's been open for a while but to me it's new :) I was immediately greeted by Forest.... Like Forest Gump. Forest was a cool man and literally introduced himself that way lol I shortly glanced at the menu and made my selection on the double meat burrito, I asked forest if that's a good choice and he completely agreed and said I won't be disappointed. I'm just minutes I was walking out with a hot freshly made burrito with a couple of there salsas in a brown paper bag to go. I was totally impressed on the flavors of this breakfast burrito, it was a perfectly salted and full of meats...just how I like it. I will say the size seems to be smaller then other breakfast burritos I've had but once I was done I was full... so don't let the size fool you ;) I will be retuning to try something different off the menu. It's located in a plaza with tons of parking so no need to worry about that. Also there is NO seating so grab and go is ideal. If you're in the area I highly recommend you check them out. Enjoy! SYoY :)

I'm a breakfast burrito kind of person plain and simple. If I'm out and you ask me what I feel like having for breakfast 99% of the time I'll say breakfast burrito. Now Ham n Scram is a place I pass by somewhat often and always tell myself I'm going to give it a try. Well I finally did I was out with my partner and our pups and figure after our morning walk it's breakfast burrito time. I walked in trying to decide what to get but the Original breakfast burrito just made sense with everything it had in it. Its not the biggest burrito but it's a good tasting burrito. The price was a little eh. I think with tax it put me around $15 just for the burrito. The place is spotless very clean and well kept, menu has pretty much all the prices removed which I don't like. Just be upfront with your pricing regardless of the cost. There is no seating so it's a grab and go kind of place, parking is plentiful. Would I come back... Hmmm.. it was a good tasting burrito but for the price I can go elsewhere (not naming the competition because I don't think it's right too) and get a good breakfast burrito for half the price less than a couple miles away. I might be back just to support small businesses.

Stopped by here on Monday morning and it did not dissatisfied. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the two friendliest employees. We ordered two of the original breakfast burritos split in half. They ordered to wrap the halves separately, which was great. The burritos are jam packed and have the perfect ratio of eggs to meat and potatoes. The salsa complimented the burritos really well. This place was great!

Quality REAL food served in compostable packaging! Parking: lot shared with other businesses Service: fast, so sweet Ambiance: cute decor, very clean, spacious. Grab your food and SCRAM bc there's no seating Food: boyfriend loved his breakfast sandwich. I got the breakfast bowl (no cheese) and it was great. Salsa has the perfect kick. LOVE that they use compostable bowls, paper bags and compostable forks. Thank you for caring. Knowing that this is real, quality ingredients and they care for the environment makes them a FIVE STAR for me.

Huge fan of this spot, probably my favorite breakfast burrito in Long Beach. As good as the burrito is on its own, the salsa puts it on another level. I go with The Original Breakfast Burrito every visit and honestly I don't feel the need to go with another menu item because why mess with a good thing? And although you'll catch me here when I'm having a breakfast burrito craving, I often come here for their ham bones! I'm big on making legume-based soups and using ham bones take my soup to another level! My fur child is a big fan of the meat from these bones too. All the employees here, from the college kids to the owner himself are so nice and helpful and their service definitely solidifies this as a five-star review. This location is small and doesn't provide dine in seating, so definitely be prepared for a takeout order but there's a great park near by if you need a place to eat.

Breakfast burritos was very tasty and filling. I got the double ham with extra veggies and mushrooms. It was not cheap but very satisfying.

This is a very solid option for anyone who wants an American omelette or scramble on the go! Let me start with the service because I truly don't think I've ever gotten faster service anywhere other than a fast food restaurant! It probably only took 3-4 minutes for them to make my burrito! The young men were both very nice and friendly. The burrito itself was a good size, and definitely worth the $13 price! The ham itself is really really delicious, there's a reason it's in their name! Unfortunately the cheese didn't melt all the way, which would have taken this burrito up a notch. They also have shredded potatoes in there which are good, but could use more texture. I also didn't think the salsa it was served with really complemented the burrito, but they have other options you can choose from! Overall, I see why this is a really popular spot! I love that it's family owned and has great costumer service. I was eating on the go, so I didn't take note of there is any seating inside, but I don't think there is. If there is seating, it's very minimal.

Came here on a Saturday around 10:00am. One person in front of me. Service was quick. Space was clean. Got the original breakfast burrito. It was fairly big. Sauce on the side was good but not spicy. Ham inside is what made it stand out it was salty and cooked well. Overall, worth trying out.

Pad See ew had such a good wok fry essence. So flavorful, and perfect blend of savory and slight sweetness. Chinese broccoli nicely wok fried. The shrimp was jumbo and so succulent. Salmon Larb was perfectly cooked with fried cubes of juicy flavorful salmon. Tossed in fresh mint, cilantro, scallions, a ton of fresh lime juice, chili flakes, red onions and lettuce. The toasted rice powder was definitely apparent as every Larb dish should have. Slightly different take of Larb, bit more modernized and tweaked cause definitely a salad with the lettuce versus served with the cabbage and cucumber on the side. I don't think you can go wrong with what you order. Definitely fusion of authentic with a modernized American feel. Cocktails were excellent and recommend their Tamarind Spicy drink, don't remember the name but it was so good. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. Like mentioned, whenever I'm in Long Beach a visit here is always a must. The service is amazing as all the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The place isn't that big but a fairly decent amount of seating on both side. They do have a table out front but it's only one. Menu has pretty much a good selection of Thai dishes. I've been to a few and they don't offer it while some places, it's not that good. Here, it's alway consistent and very flavorful. That a must for me and alway ordered. We also love the papaya salad which you can have Thai style or Laos style. Depending on what your preference is. Their larb is great as well. Very flavorful and tasty. Of course our main items we tend to get here, the boat noodles which I love as it's flavorful, broth is perfect and all the extras added. Also all their curries are excellent. Lately we've been getting their massaman curries which the flavors is really nice. Whatever protein you like. The curries do come with a side of rice but an extra order is alway needed. Love it to have with the papaya salad and larb. All their dishes are great and very flavorful. Spice level varies on what you like but I tend to go with medium and add all the extra spices for myself with their sauce selection. We tend to alway be full even before being asked if we wanted dessert. The food is always amazing and the staff are always friendly and sweet. There's two restaurants that's a door apart and both are great but this one takes the cake for me. It's always a must when I'm in town as I know the food will alway be delicious. Highly recommended. Heads up, parking in the area is a bitch. It's all residential so people tend to stay in or else they're going to lose their spots. Just a heads up.
