Awful experience. So expensive and they do not do a good job. My nails were cut and filed so short, they have been bleeding since I left the salon. Got the powder dip and not only did he not clean up the extra color around my nail and on my skin, I did not get a manicure which is the whole reason why I went to get my nails done. Will never do the powder dip ever again. Nails are already chipping and they look horrible. I have never felt pain in my fingertips until I left this place. I have never been this unsatisfied with my nails. Not happy with my experience at all and will never recommend this nail salon. read more

I have been seeing Kim for over 2 years now! She is always on top of the newest trends and is willing to go above and beyond for her clients. Everyone in the salon is super friendly. The are a very busy place due to how good they are so an appointment is always best! read more

I've gone here twice and each time the service was absolutely wonderful! Will definitely continue to come here!

Should have read last review. Looked this place up for wife. Not sure how they have high reviews. Rough place and dirty. Poor quality.

Kim, new owner of Lovely Nails is a wonderful addition to the area! I visited only days after she moved in and was astonished how clean and put together she had transformed the store! Kim not only did a gentle job at transforming my overdue nail upkeep into beautiful looking hands again, but she raced around opening the door, guiding me into a chair, handling my purse, as I walk with the assistance of an arm cane due to MS. Tina and Kelly are also quite personable and Tina did a wonderful job on my first pedicure with her. I intend to return regularly for my pedicures here also. If you're looking for a nail salon with style, great service and a friendly staff, then please go give them your business! You won't be disappointed! read more

I normally don't get to this side of town often, but I get my hair cut and colored by one of my best friends every six weeks or so and Lovely Nails is located in the same strip mall. I've had two pedicures here and they have both been excellent! It was rather busy yesterday (Friday) afternoon but they accommodated both my friend and I immediately. Decided to do something different and opted for black polish with a "sparkly" top coat and nail art. Turned out beautiful!! I am so happy with the result! Perfect "winter" look! read more

Holy COW!!! I can't believe how amazing this place is! Especially compared to the pedi disaster I dealt with earlier today. The young man that did my pedicure was amaaaazing! Great massage, paid close attention to detail and didn't rush. The entire staff made sure their customer was very happy. They really care about the quality of their work here! I highly recommend this place. read more

I wouldn't recommend to come to this place! The staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. The young man who did my nails made me feel uncomfortable, he just wanted to finish quickly and without listening to my requests and far more then that he was texting and talking and laughing about me. When I asked for one more layer of color gel he raised is voice . I will never get back there and I don't recommend for any of you to visit this nail salon. read more

They do a good job when they take their time. Unfortunately like many on here are saying.. it is true that they speed through to get you done so that they can get to the next person. You spend quite a bit of money but the service is lacking. read more

I'm not the type of person that usually leaves a bad review, but this was absolutely the worst service I have ever received from a salon. We called to make appointments, arrived and still had to wait. The staff was not friendly and didn't greet us or try and start a conversation at all. Once the man started my pedicure, he was extremely rough and made me bleed. the first and only thing he said to me was "sorry". After gluing my bleeding toe, he continued the pedicure. I ended the pedicure before he was done because my toe was burning every time i placed it back in the water. Then the lady at the front desk proceeded to ask why we were leaving with unfinished pedicures but didn't try to make it right or apologize, instead she was just as rude as the other two men working. So, I was charged full price for two unfinished pedicures and a newly sliced open toe. FULL PRICE!? Extremely disappointed that the staff was so rude instead of realizing they were in the wrong and trying to still make it a better experience. Spend your money where people will treat you kindly and do quality work--this is NOT the place. read more

Horrible service, dirty and was not pleased with my nails. I will never go back there again. I showed her a picture and she was rude and told me she couldn't do that. I had a fill and gel polish. I was rushed and done in 30 mins. read more

i am visiting tucson and wanted to get a mani/pedi at my usual place, but my friend insisted we come here! she said that the prices can't be beat, and that the quality is great. we had appointments for gel manicures and pedicures and the staff here at lovely nail are quick, courteous and efficient! they use quality products and give great massages. my friend raves about how well her polish lasts, and i am sure mine will last until i am back home. this place is worth checking out if you're in the area, but also worth the drive. read more

Lovely lovely lovely. Nail techs were very polite, they do many services for the affordable prices. I received a pedi and the massage was very soothing and more than most nail places give. Cleanliness is top notch. I even received a Christmas gift, a lotion, and I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture. read more

I went in today as a walk in because it is close to my house and has great Yelp reviews. What a great experience. They got me right in for a mani and pedi. Thai is awesome! She is friendly and funny and really livens the place up. She made my horrible feet pretty again and my hands look wonderful as well. I will be going back for sure!! read more

Finally found a nail salon in Tucson that does a great job with gel manicures. Kim the owner was amazing! She stayed after closing to fit me in and took her time with every step. I am a very picky person when it comes to my nails and I seek perfection! Lol! read more

I will never go anywhere else. My husband took me one night and I am hooked. They were so professional and clean. They did a great job too!! Their kids were there because we went pretty late and they were adorable!!! read more

Maybe it was an off day but the lady who did my pedicure globbed the polish on my toes so thick and they didn't dry for another 2 hours. No one has time to wait around that long so my big toes were messed up before the day was even over. When I tried to take the polish off to redo them it took forever to get it all off because it was applied so thick. I was expecting something out of this world judging by the great reviews but I won't be going back. 3 stars because the place was clean and welcoming and very relaxing. read more

A little disappointed since this place had great reviews. I came here since I had an appointment out here and had time to kill. I have been going to the same guy near Rita ranch since I've lived here but decided to give this place a chance. Meh. My problem is that I have dry nail beds and so whoever is doing my nails needs to really clean them up or my nails will be ugly even with the new gels. They were okay the first day but now they're just not. My usual nail tech really zones in on the details and cleans them up for me. Sigh. Maybe if my nail beds didn't suck so much my nails would be as beautiful as everyone else's. They do have extensive gel color options to choose from which is nice. This place is very small though so you'll probably want to make an appointment or come during week days. The massage was not good and the tech was snappy with me even though it's not like it was busy.... My experience was not what the reviews said they would offer. Oh well. read more

I decided to stop in here after reading the excellent reviews. They are correct. Kim is very welcoming. The place is clean. Her staff is excellent. Pedicures last about three weeks. The shellac lasts just over three weeks. If you have any problems, just come back and they will make it right. This is an excellent place and I highly suggest it. read more

I was looking for a nail place in Tucson for awhile, and after trying several, Lovely Nails always has come out on top. I've had about 4 pedicures and 5-6 manicures thus far, and all of them have been absolutely wonderful, as advertised, with no complaints. I also have a habit of waiting until the last minute to get my nails done (re: when they basically have no polish left to speak of!) and Kim always finds a way to sneak me in with someone. At this point, I think I've had all of the nail techs, and have no complaints about any of them! Really reasonable, great service, and would recommend to anyone. read more

This is actually the first time I leave such a poor review but unfortunately this nail salon did not live up to the reviews. I arrived to my appointment with a friend and were immediately split even though we specified we'd like our services together. We understood that they were busy, what I find unacceptable is that they rush you through the mani/pedi without even letting your nails dry. I came out of the salon with my nails full of bubbles (which I pointed out and just got an additional coat of clear). The reason for the bubbles was that they did not allow the polish to dry before they applied the top coat. Four hours later the nails had not properly dried and started peeling off. Sadly not worth it. read more

Kim got me in twenty minutes after I called the shop for a new set and my acrylics look amazing! I was not expecting her to make my nails exactly like I wear them the first time, but she did! The other people who work there were so funny and kind too. Nobody pushed anything on me that I didn't want or ask for. I hope to become a regular there. read more

Kim does my pink and whites - she is very meticulous and makes sure they are perfect before I walk out. I get tons of compliments on how nice they look. All of the staff are cheerful and friendly. The prices are reasonable - not the cheapest place in town, but worth every penny! I won't be going anywhere else. read more

Really good pedicure for the prices. Took their time and cleaned up around the edges. Long lasting. The massage wasn't right at all. My technician needs some training in that. read more

Being relatively new to town, I have had a hard time finding just the right Nail person! UNTIL NOW! I have been to see Kim twice now and both times, my nails look great and they last longer than most I have had done here. As others have said here, the pedicures tend to last longer also! Yea!! Kim is great about listening to you but also is good about giving you suggestions which tend to be spot on. read more

I went in for a natural looking manicure and that is exactly what I got! Kim did an amazing job, I asked for a natural white tip shellac manicure and she took her time and did exactly what I asked for. The salon is nice and clean and always a nice place to be in. As I was leaving I was also given a sweet treat. I definitely recommend this nail salon! read more

Lovely Nails is amazing! Kim and her staff are professional and obviously very experienced. I've been there twice now and both times have gotten designs on my nails. Kim is exceptionally talented and steady handed, they turned out beautiful. My two full sets are the best I've ever had- absolutely perfect. My pedicure has lasted three weeks now without a chip. Kim also waxed my eyebrows- again perfect! I cannot recommend Lovely Nails and their excellent staff more. read more

I have found the perfect nail salon - Lovely Nails. I stumbled upon it a few weeks ago and had the best pedicure from Kelly. She is beyond thorough and her skills are excellent. I so appreciate the friendly atmosphere, the cleanliness and skill level. My search is over, I am now a loyal customer! This is really a 5 Star review! read more

After a bad experience with Oracle Nails I pulled up to Lovely Nails at a quarter to 7 and asked if she could fit two lovely 14 year old ladies and she said absolutely one of the girls was a few dollars short for a manicure and pedicure and she said she would work with her absolutely amazing customer service so glad that there are still people in the world like this it made both my daughter and her friends evening as they are getting promoted from the 8th grade tomorrow morning thank you Lovely Nails read more

I visited Lovely Nails today after reading the great reviews here. Kim was very friendly and obviously takes a lot of pride in her work. I had a shellac manicure and pedicure with sugar scrub. Tons of options for shellac colors and everything was very clean. I'll definitely be a repeat customer! read more

We had a girls weekend getaway planned and decided to get pedicures at the last minute. We decided to go here due to the reviews but were so sadly disappointed. When you arrive a sign tells you they prefer cash or check, and don't care for credit cards due to high fees. We chose to stay anyway and picked the $45 deluxe pedicure. I first asked for super glue or acrylic on one nail that I just cracked earlier in the week, he said ok you're the queen! Then, I asked the man to make my feet smooth and he said yes, yes. Several times during the service I felt my feet and asked for more treatment, he didn't like that at all but reluctantly tried. When he was ready to paint my broken nail I asked about "fixing" it, they said it was ok and I said it was not, so they left me there for ten minutes until someone came and glued it and made it smooth. After we left, I checked and my feet were as rough as they had been when I went in. I wouldn't go there and waste my money.... read more

I had Kim do a pink and white full set. I'm so happy with my nails, this was my first time here and I can honestly say it's probably the best set I've ever had. The staff very friendly, the pedicures are excellent. I highly recommend this salon. read more

Great reviews and location brought me in. Pedicure was amazing- very relaxing and thorough. Best pedicure I've had in awhile. On the contrary, I showed a photo of my fingernail idea and it didn't turn out well. I was very unhappy with how they looked, but felt like I had attempted to communicate that it didn't look right, but sensed there was a language barrier. As I paid and planned to go somewhere else, Kim took a look and offered to redo. I was impressed with her professionalism and commitment to excellent customer service. She even gave me a lotion Xmas gift to take home. Her attention to detail is very apparent and she completely turned my experience around. I'll be back! read more
