It's never made me ill and the reason I'm a vegetarian is that meat makes me ill, so if it doesn't hurt me, it shouldn't hurt other vegetarians either. They have a selection of sushi, sides (noodles, egg rolls, saté, soup etc.), fruits, ice cream and of course the fresh vegetables, meats and fish for in the wok and on the griddle. Delicious! Also a super friendly family that runs the place, only too bad the chefs don't speak a lot of Dutch, but the youngest child is adorable and when he's allowed to stay up late he loves to come and chat with people and play with the other children in the restaurant. The Foe yong hai was also thick & so yummyyy!! And guys, the thin & so crispy Pangsit goreng is A MUST TRY. Not sure why the other reviewer (9 years ago review) gave only 1-star, but in my opinion, this restaurant deserves at least 4-Stars. I ordered the Vegetarian Tjap Tjoy and added cashewnuts to it. We also had Pisang Goreng (Gebakken Bananen) en "mini lumpias." The nasi I got with the Tjap Tjoy was flavorless, but other that no real complains. The Pisang Goreng was soggy and the bananas weren't even warm. The "Mini Springrolls" (Loempias) was one gigantic loempia (this could have been an entire meal for 2) and than my Vegatarian Tjap Tjoy was NOT vegetarian. I found not 1, not 2 but 3 pieces of meat in it and not even 3 the same kind of meats. No I found 2 pieces of ham and 1 chicken bite in it. Besides the "vegetarian" meal not being vegetarian, it also had no flavor. VERY VERY disappointed. I will NOT be ordering from this place again.
