I forget how many courses we shared but I wanted more, not because I was hungry but because everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend! The service was great. Super friendly, even when we spilled wine all over the place. The food isn't your traditional Chinese restaurant. The idea is more of Asian tapas. You order a couple of items per person and then you share everything. We ended up ordering literally A PAGE of the menu! We were delighted about the food. Everything was delicious and surprising! Hard to choose which one we liked best. Everyone was super happy, we had a perfect experience and I warmly recommend it. (You might want to check that, but I think they also do take away food.)

Not a great option for vegans maybe as every serving is cooked in the same pan, but for me as a vegetarian it's okay, they rinse and quickly brush the wok in between every serving and I just ignore the fact that it's all pre-cooked in the same stock. It's never made me ill and the reason I'm a vegetarian is that meat makes me ill, so if it doesn't hurt me, it shouldn't hurt other vegetarians either. They have a selection of sushi, sides (noodles, egg rolls, saté, soup etc.), fruits, ice cream and of course the fresh vegetables, meats and fish for in the wok and on the griddle. Delicious! Also a super friendly family that runs the place, only too bad the chefs don't speak a lot of Dutch, but the youngest child is adorable and when he's allowed to stay up late he loves to come and chat with people and play with the other children in the restaurant. I definitely recommend that everybody in the universe eats here at least once in their lives!

The Foe yong hai was also thick & so yummyyy!! And guys, the thin & so crispy Pangsit goreng is A MUST TRY. Not sure why the other reviewer (9 years ago review) gave only 1-star, but in my opinion, this restaurant deserves at least 4-Stars. The only minor issue is that they don't accept Credit Card, only Cash or Debit. Feels free to try & enjoy their dishes!!

It's unfortunate that so many good Chinees Indische restaurants disappear in our little neighborhood (which goes as far as Kanaalstraat). Due to 2 of our favorite Chinese restaurants closing, we had to try out a new place. Our all time favorite has to be where now Jasmijn & Ik is. Nothing could compete with our favorite Chinese restaurants, but we gave it a shot. Once, twice and now for the third time, but no, third time's not a charm in this case. I am vegetarian and although this place has about 125 dishes on their menu, I have a small selection of about 3 main items to choose from. I ordered the Vegetarian Tjap Tjoy and added cashewnuts to it. We also had Pisang Goreng (Gebakken Bananen) en "mini lumpias." The nasi I got with the Tjap Tjoy was flavorless, but other that no real complains. The Pisang Goreng was soggy and the bananas weren't even warm. The "Mini Springrolls" (Loempias) was one gigantic loempia (this could have been an entire meal for 2) and than my Vegatarian Tjap Tjoy was NOT vegetarian. I found not 1, not 2 but 3 pieces of meat in it and not even 3 the same kind of meats. No I found 2 pieces of ham and 1 chicken bite in it. Besides the "vegetarian" meal not being vegetarian, it also had no flavor. VERY VERY disappointed. I will NOT be ordering from this place again.
