A huge thank you to our project manager, Allen, who did an amazing job keeping everything organized and running smoothly. The entire crew was a pleasure to work with--a special shoutout to Johan (their master plumber and electrician) and his brother for their outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail. Like most major remodels, there were a few unexpected delays along the way, but almost all of them were completely out of their control. What impressed me most was their dedication: the team worked tirelessly, including weekends, to make up for lost time and keep us on schedule. We were also thrilled with their designer, Emanuele, who was incredible to work with. He helped guide us through color schemes and design choices, and his vision really brought the spaces to life. On top of the bathrooms, we decided last-minute to have them replace the cracking tile in our entranceway. They knocked it out incredibly fast, and they did a great job containing dust and keeping the work areas clean throughout the process. I highly recommend Wise Builders to anyone looking for quality work, clear communication, and a hardworking team. Thank you, Wise Builders!

They are honest, forthcoming, and patient, and their communication was fantastic throughout the entire project as they worked diligently to keep everything on track. Of course, with a full home remodel there are always unforeseen problems. When we hit a major delay due to the HVAC subcontractor, Aaron and Alex worked incredibly hard to resolve the issues and advocate for us. Even though those HVAC problems cost us about six weeks, the overall project still came in right on schedule. Our kitchen designer, Michele, was fantastic and brought our vision to life perfectly, and the bathrooms were designed beautifully as well. The crew--Angel, Asher, Enrique, and Donato--were professional, hard-working, and a pleasure to have in our home. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Wise Builders for their full-service approach and excellent problem-solving.

After working with them on multiple projects, I can confidently say they are one of the most professional and trustworthy contractors I've worked with. Their pricing was fair and competitive, but what really set them apart was their transparency, communication, and commitment to quality. Construction projects almost always uncover unexpected challenges, and whenever they did, the team took the time to explain the options, recommend thoughtful solutions, and make sure the work was done the right way--not just the easiest way. The awning installation was by far the most complex part of the project. Because of the structural requirements, they carefully reviewed the original architectural drawings, coordinated with the structural engineer who designed the home, and completed extensive planning and preparation before installation. Their attention to detail and focus on safety gave me complete confidence that the job was being done correctly. The final result exceeded my expectations and has become one of my favorite additions to the house. It's rare to find a contractor who combines quality craftsmanship, integrity, fair pricing, and excellent communication. I highly recommend 786 Construction and would absolutely hire them again for future projects.

If you are looking for the absolute best price and a contractor who is genuinely easy to talk to, Jay is your guy. He is very agreeable and was always willing to negotiate and perform reworks until I was satisfied with the result. That said, if your project is on the more complicated side like mine was, you should be prepared to take an active role in project management. The timelines did extend significantly beyond the original estimates, and I had to stay on top of the subcontractors to ensure the craftsmanship met my standards. It wasn't a hands-off experience, but because he is such an honest person to deal with and his pricing is so competitive, we got both projects to the finish line. A strong pick for those on a budget who don't mind being involved in the details. After working with many contractors in the Bay Area, I've found that the alternative is usually someone charging much more who promises a turnkey experience but can't guarantee it either. Knowing that tradeoff, I would hire Jay again - and already have.

She understood my concept and created bathroom designs that I couldn't put together myself. It's been more than 4 months since completion, and I still look at my bathrooms and get excited. Also, they kept with the budget I had in mind. They were very considerate on how much I wanted to spend and gave me recommendations on how to cut costs. Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.
