I was told to return the equipment to a store within 7 days. I returned all equipment--router, extender, cable box, remote and all cords--at the Lindale, Texas store on 2/27/26 at 10:15am CST and received a receipt for the return. After this date, I received multiple phone calls, emails and texts about returning the equipment. I spoke with multiple people at Optimum to provide details of the returned items. I am still receiving daily calls and text messages about the equipment even though I have been told numerous times that correspondence will stop. I am researching different ways to get this word out. I cannot continue to speak to Optimum everyday.

Sadly, it seems to have gone way so many companies do...down! System is back up 12 hours later. I called the local Wills Point, TX phone number to find out what had happened and ask why there was no one on a recorded statement explaining the issue and when internet would be back online. I got someone that I couldn't understand half of what he said and wouldn't let me speak to someone that I could understand. I clearly wasn't in Texas anymore. When asked about last night's connectivity issue, he wasn't allowed to tell me that either. I'm not sure why he even answered the phone! Can not and will not recommend this IP. Too bad. It was the best one by far. Not anymore :(

Honestly, I cannot tell you how frustrating dealing with this company was for us. We switched to CIP, Community Internet Providers, and give them a five star recommendation. We have no interest in CIP other than being grateful and happy customers. Look up their website or Facebook page. You will be so pleased when you switch. If I was still on Texas Cellnet I might not even able to post this review. The lack of reliable communication with the outside world made us feel like North Koreans. Texas Cellnet same as Rocket Man?? Sad!

However, a good amount of time is spent with lower than paid-for speeds and occasionally clocking in at slower than dial-up speeds. It's unreliable, overpriced, and it's support is generally regarded as terrible and unresponsive. Most of my subscription time to this company has been like dealing with ups and downs as if I'm on a rollercoaster, it's nearly never consistent, and when it is, it only lasts for 5 days to a week, and it's straight back to a frustrating mess. Avoid this company, for the sake of your sanity and your wallet.

She has refused for over 30 minutes to file a complaint, which I have requested over 20 times to file a complaint and to speak to a manager. All I requested was for T-Mobile to properly close out the account and to stop sending me bills for money they owe me when it clearly states they have credited my closed account and have no intention of refunding me the money owed. And she has REFUSED TO PROPERLY CLOSE THE ACCOUNT AND STOP THE HARRASING BILLS! She has refused for 30 minutes to put a manager on the phone. Eva claimed she was a manager and after 40 minutes finally agreed to transfer me to her boss, but instead put me on the phone with Christ, a customer care representative. Great job !! Great customer service!! My overall review of T-mobile= horrible internet, unreliable, crappy service. Not worth even $50. Customer service is even worse!! Harassment, refusal to refund payments, cancel internet service in your area without any notice, incompetent managers, horrible policies. YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Lindale T-mobile apparently should have called the main office when I was in the store and dropped off the equipment and because they didn't things are messed up?? That's what Eva claims. Clearly, this is a training issue and has nothing to do with me.
