I was downright lied to by an associate who told me that I could come back a few weeks after setting up monthly installments and pay off my phone balance. What he NEGLECTED to tell me is that if I do that, the sweet deal he gave me on my trade-in would no longer apply! I had told the guy the day I got the phone that I do not like paying off products monthly like that and that I would just keep my phone I was trading in. However, he assured me I could return after 14 days and pay the balance...but did not mention that my trade-in value would be negated! And just now, when I tried to pay off my phone, the staff informed me of my options and were nonchalant & treated me like, "Sorry about your sad luck." So, now I am stuck with 36 months of installments for the discounted phone...OR I can pay off the original full price. What a sneaky, underhanded trick!! read more

They've straight lied to me about what my bill would be with a certain plan then added a bunch of stuff I told them I didn't want or need. Which increased my bill insanely. Went to the tyler store and they corrected it all and explained what they did. Even said they've heard only bad about this store. Very untrustworthy people. read more

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! FRAUDULENT PUCHASE & CHARGE! I went to the store to get an upgrade for my iPhone 6S. They did a great job transferring apps and data to my new iPhone 11, including finding additional discounts that were applicable. I was very pleased. A MONTH LATER I GOT MY AT&T BILL AND WAS SHOCKED! Someone also charged a Samsung phone to my AT&T account showing up as a $153.68 charge. I'm now talking to the AT&T Fraud Department. read more

Service was great the first day... second day good as well, however the third visit was because day one and 2 service was oversell and lies or is it? According to one device plan and the other it seems the manager needs less "mansplaining" and more costumer service skills! Even low level costumer service workers know you should at least let your costumer talk! I honestly don't care if it's a trade and you boast yourself up by making others acknowledge your TRADE because I know people. Who are still in elementary that can understand technology too! Point is your costumer service skill is trash ! Also seems your store needs a refresher in how to deal with unsatisfied customers! I ordered on NO CAP I was told it was avail! But according to my plan I have 2. And 2 different plans! I don't care you can explain it to a monkey for all I care I was sold rain and what I got was piss! You would not even look at my phone to see what my phone shows ! Thank you AT&T I'm officially a dang KAREN I have nerved understood why people get so karened out till today! The AT&T location in Lindale customer service is terrible! I only went in to upgrade my phone and purchase some accessories! All to find out our plan we have been grandfathered in maybe since 2008 had been changed! When changes are made with out your consent, you have to understand the customer is going to come back in upset... My mother went in requesting them to fix it to to only get put out the store because they couldn't do anything about it.. I called and spoke with Jermey the store manager and tried to explain the mix up but he stated I requested it to save $25... Instead of him giving great customer service for his location mistake and calling the 1800 number he made me do it! Long story short Christian R in the service department changed our family plan back and apologized for the stores mistake! Jermey if you don't like customer service you might be in the wrong field! read more

I recieved incredible customer service from a young gentleman by the name of Jacob. I had purchased a cellular tablet from Best Buy and wanted to add it to my AT&T account. Not knowing much about the tablet or how the service worked, Jacob quickly had me all set up. I appreciate his patience and strong commitment to customer service. read more

I had a friend last week who was taken advantage by the Lindale AT&T business (they are not corporate owned). They told her that there was a special but when she found out there wasn't, the manager told her "people make mistakes, have you ever made a mistake". They also sold her a phone and services that she did not need. Instead of them taking the loss for THEIR mistake, she paid the price. Friends stepped in and went to the Lindale office and was lied to by an employee. The employee told them to go to Tyler (AT&T) corporate shop and they could correct the mistake and was waiting for them. Upon arrival at the AT&T in the Cumberland Shopping Center, they had not had a call from Lindale and knew nothing about the situation. After three hours of hard work by Tim at the Cumberland location, the situation was corrected. We also found out that the Lindale location is known for overselling, lying and not knowing what they are doing. AT&T needs to step in and shut down the location. read more

I had mixed results with this store. Got a great quote over the phone but when I got there a different employee could not get me the same price and I ended up with a more expensive plan dealing with a less than friendly salesperson for about 2 hours. Sold me a phone with little storage and didn't mention lack of expandable memory so I came back to the store to get phone with more hard drive space. Met with Shannon who got me a more affordable plan and phones with more hard drive space but paying less monthly. Much better experience this time but it took manager Richard a while with technical support to get my new phones in order. Also they will sell you insurance for your phones that you will pay for monthly but don't mention when you use the insurance you will also pay for a deductible. This store had great promotions but you may not get the best deal or all the facts right away. read more

It seems they never can help. It's either something they don't carry in store, a service they have to call to figure out or another kind of issue the employees aren't familiar with. I've been with AT&T since it was Cingular and still have issues but only stay due to service with Verizon isn't great where I live. Why have a store front if I have to call to resolve any issue? read more

We are 25 year AT&T customers and stock holders with AT&T. Went to the Lindale Authorized Store in Lindale (not a corporate owned location) to cancel a recently deceased loved ones account. After a hard weekend and commute., young millennial man refused to help me, as he was militant about wearing a mask. He would not provide me one. He told me they could not close our loved ones account and that I needed to call customer service, who had told me I needed to go into a store to do this. Tired of the run around. I called 611. They referred me back to the store. I walked back in with customer service on the line and politely asked them to visit. The man jumped up from his table and rudely demanded me to leave because of no mask and did not care if I closed our long time account. I pray that other stores are not like this. We will be speaking with the owners. Not acceptable and would not recommend. read more
