All the communication is rapid, clear, and convenient. Price: on par with other professional moving companies in the area. Move experience: Seamless. The movers called to say they'd be a few minutes late because of truck issues, but they more than made up for that time by working quickly. They sent 5-6 people to help with our huge move (finally, a company that understands how to staff large moves!), were prepared to handle some very heavy and oddly shaped items, and were extremely proactive and patient with helping me figure out where to put some furniture in smaller spaces in my new house. Vibes: The movers treated our items with care, treated our home with respect, and were still incredibly fast with making the move. I mainly communicated with the manager of the crew, who knew his stuff, was professional, and was patient with my questions and concerns. We were extremely anxious because we had to change our moving date twice and every time we called, they were able to calm our fears and accommodated our change of date. The day of our move, the crew arrived on time, with two trucks. We were greeted by David Byrd, Jose Gonzalez, Josu Sanchez, Jose Jr. Lopez and Richard Sanabria. We immediately knew that this was a team that worked well together! Overall they had the best rates and don't charge extra for the truck or the travel fee (which is actually a fee for the time it takes a moving company to get to your place and then back home after the job is done). They were a bit slow to respond at first, but were very helpful in helping us prep for the move to reduce cost (making sure all is packed, having boxes of similar size stacked together because that's how they move them - by size and not by room designation). And they hustled. The moved ended up taking longer than we anticipated (lots of stairs!) but they ended up charging us less than we thought - they stopped by for lunch on the way to the new place and didn't charge us for that time. I don't believe they're insured, so not sure if I would recommend them if you have a lot of stuff. But they took good care of our IKEA stuff and I will use them again next time we move.
