A fun little spot in the middle of nowhere (rural) Minnesota. The beer was good, service was friendly and the farm vibe was a plus. From the outside it's a simple pole barn, but the inside was comfortable and modern. Pizza was available from a neighboring farm. We didn't get it, but it looked delicious. Gotta love a family-friendly brewery; there were kids running around outside having fun, and free root beer and popcorn. Worth the drive.

Great beer. No food but bring your own. Or order from the pizza farm nearby. Have patio and lawn to relax on.

We have been coming to Chapel for about 6 months now consistently. We first stopped in on a whim…read moreand were greeted by the brew master himself. He discussed his training and experience and it was rather amazing. We also happened to stop in on one of the Thursday evening that they had an "experimental" night where they showcased an experimental brew. One of my favorites so far was "Almond Joy"... where the beer tasted like an Almond Joy. It was awesome! This place is such a cute little place, quaint, and just such a cozy relaxing place to come, chill, and enjoy an amazing brew. Tracy is one of the owners and is such a nice person who is forever grateful to all patrons who stop by and support her business. Her personality and conversational attributes have made me spend many more hours in the Chapel than I ever would have imagined. Because of her and her amazing staff, they are the reason I return weekly, if not a couple times per week to support and enjoy!

The chapel was small and charming, the bartender was friendly, and the outdoor seating in a wooded area by the water was peaceful. The brews went down smooth and the conversation was good. As we were departing, a bluegrass band was setting up on their outdoor deck. Easy residential street parking.

I arrived to a full patio and a few patrons inside @ tables so I was fortunate enough to snag my preferred bar stool so I could chat up the beertender. Lucky me... after a few exchanged sentences I discovered my beertender was the owner/brewer!! As we discussed beers and styles I said: so you're Kevin? I had a can of Shut Up Kevin gifted to me a couple years ago and was told it was in reference to the brewer. As we rambled on about beers and styles, together we built my flight. Everything was wonderful and delicious! Angry Hog hits all the marks!! Delicious beer, comfortable and spacious tap room, great patio, easy parking and one rad brewer/owner who is a delight! This brewery was nowhere near me, it was a destination and totally worth the trip! I knew it was good when I headed to my other Austin destination, no parking to be found. My immediate thought was: oh well, guess I try again next Angry Hog visit.... as I am definitely coming back!! Cheers!

The brown ale and cream ale still seemed overcarbed, but they have a caramel pecan beer that is great, the coffee beer was awesome, cherry wheat was delicious and the rhubarb sour they had was fabulous. They even had some fruit infusions you could add to your beer to change things up. Definitely worth a visit!
