The fresh ground flour adds a ton of flavor and they got a decent char on the bottom and rim. The prices weren't terrible and 1 pizza with some booze fed both of us. My only gripe is that they go heavy on the cheese so the (excellent) crust can't hold up to the weight and wetness. That's made a bit worse by they fact that they use a high-moisture mozzarella so there's a lot of grease that can soup the whole deal up. All in all they make fantastic spirits, service is great, and now have good pizza at a decent price. I think this may be my go to spot for meeting friends when I'm in Northfield.

Today we were out on a drive and had our mini Goldendoodle with us, we weren't sure if Lucky Guy's was dog friendly, so I popped my head in to see if they were dog friendly and found out they are on their patio and main level. I ordered my usual espresso martini and my husband got the Lucky Guy's Old Fashioned, we are creatures of habit and when we find a cocktail we like, we tend to stick with it. However, when we decided to have another round, I asked Guy what he recommended and he suggested the Somerset Martini, it did not disappoint. Guy knows what he's doing! The ambiance is great, warm and welcoming and it's tastefully decorated, right down to the bathrooms. Guy has been there every time we've been there and you can tell that he cares about his customers and the cocktails he's making. All other staff we've encountered at Lucky Guys have always been friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Highly recommend Lucky Guy's. We also tried their Thai chili pepper vodka in a one night in Bangkok. I was worried it would be too spicy based on some other spicy liquors I've tried but it was the perfect amount of heat and blended nicely in the drink. It would make an excellent Bloody Mary! Co-founded by brewmaster Jace Marti and 6th-generation farmer Nate Gieseke they produce Bourbons, Rye Malt Whisky, American Single Malt, and some fun other spirits. They utilize uniquely shaped, open-top wooden fermenters, house-propagated non-saccharomyces yeast strains, and a low barrel-entry proof of 110 to extract more toasted wood sugars I received a tour, but also enjoyed an Old Fashioned along with some of their spirits while there. The Old Fashioned was lovely, made with Bourbon, Simple Syrup, Bitters, Orange Swath, and Cherries. Overall the experience was fantastic and highly recommend the distillery. ________

I liked one of Copperwing's vodkas, but not the other. Several of their offerings have won national awards. That's something everyone in Minneapolis can be proud of.
