The empanadas were baked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, flavorful, and you can tell they're made fresh that same day. For my main entrée, I ordered the skirt steak, and WOW. Not only was it perfectly seasoned, but you can truly tell they know how to select quality cuts of meat. Our waiter was also incredible and took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the dishes, and make sure we knew exactly what to order. That personal touch really made the experience even better! Everything about this place gave me a little taste of home, and I absolutely loved it!

The food was fantastic as always, and the sangria was delicious and tasted genuinely authentic. A special shoutout to our waiter, Eduardo, who was wonderful. He and my dad instantly bonded over being Costa Rican, and it made the experience feel even more welcoming and personal. The only disappointment was dessert. The pavlova sounded much more exciting than it actually was. It was overwhelmingly sweet, and everything on the plate (the vanilla ice cream, vanilla pavlova, and vanilla whipped cream) had nearly the same flavor, color, and texture. It ended up feeling very one-note and lacked the contrast and freshness that makes a great pavlova memorable. Overall, I'll keep coming back again and again. The food is excellent, the service is warm, and it's just as perfect for watching a match as it is for a great meal. Skip the pavlova, but absolutely don't skip this place.

It's time to update my review because I have been frequenting this mercado recently and I am here…read moreto say it still slaps. Graziano's is a family run marketplace that truly has it all. If you want to grocery shop for fine meats, cheeses, wine, beer and snacks - they have got you covered. I do think that their churrasco and chimichurri are the best in Miami. If you haven't tried it, I suggest the spicy chimichurri - it's amazing. I also love the chorizo bombon. Perfect for the grill. And of course, it goes without saying no Miami beach day is complete without picking up a pack of migas or some empanadas. I can't get enough of the spicy beef lately. More recently, though, I have discovered my love of dining at Graziano's. It's right by my gym, so I find myself enjoying a latte and an empanada for breakfast often. They also have a great breakfast menu - featuring omelettes that you can get whole or half. The half is amazing because since it comes with sides like bread and hash browns, the portion is the perfect size and it's under $10. I also enjoy their lunch / dinner menu. They have really well-sized portions of delicious food. My go to is either the Picanha or chicken breast oven roasted sweet potato. The portion is big enough to share, but also great to have leftovers. This spot has become one of my favorite to work from.My go to spot is to post up at the high top tables outside - even if it's hot outside their fans make it nice to be outside and you are shaded. The best is to position yourself there at the end of the day, because once happy hour starts it's a great deal and way to end the day. They have 2-for-1 wine and beer, as well as some assorted snacks from 4-7. Also, they market wine prices don't have an upcharge so you can buy a decently priced bottle and enjoy outside with friends. I love the chill vibes and friendly service. There is a reason Graziano's has been around since 1962 and is always packed - it offers consistently great food and service and a price that is reasonable. I love it here!

The empanadas were great, and I had chorizo and morcilla very tasty, although they only brought two pieces of chorizo for some reason. Service was fine. Nice place to hang out and snack.

Chug's has been on my list for the longest and so glad I finally got to try!…read more My friend and I arrived around 10:30 am on a Sunday morning. Luckily it was a short wait, because the line could get very long. The inside is so cute and feels like a classic old school Miami diner. They have such fun speciality lattes & drinks, it was hard to choose but I opted for the guava latte which I really enjoyed. As an app, we got the buffalo chicken croquetas which was very unique but equally delicious. For our mains, my friend got the lechon breakfast sandwich which she liked. I got the pan con bistec which is definitely shareable. I did like it however I think the meat was just a touch dry. We also shared the cast iron pancake with a side of chocolate sauce. It was unreal and I'm still thinking about it. It is to no surprise that they have a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The food is high caliber and for a great price! The portions are also very generous. I can't wait to return and would definitely recommend & go hungry!!

People sensationalize this place for their shareable pancake and their burger, but I view it as a very good value option that can also serve as a crowd pleaser. They brand themselves as Cuban-American, which I appreciate because it is certainly not Cuban. They have a menu that caters to people who want deeply flavorful foods but also others, such as vegetarians. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and sitting outside is quite enticing, depending on the weather. I've always found the service to be great as well. It is located in a beautiful, walkable area in Coconut Grove. The only downside being that parking can be difficult and expensive, but still worth it. I've had several dishes at Chug's, have enjoyed all of them but would only classify the cast iron pancake as being outstanding. I would recommend that anyone who goes here try it, as it is perfectly balanced sweetness and butter with a cornbread-like texture. The only issue may be that it is quite large for just a couple. The pan con bistec is flavorful and their fries are perfectly cooked. The side salad is worthwhile as well if you're into those, as a light alternative to fries. The cuban american sandwich was surprisingly interesting to me. At first I was disappointed because it is not on Cuban bread. However, I found it to be delicious because it is well built and the ingredients go well together. I would not say that the meats are necessarily high quality, but the flavor is there. Lastly, and unfortunately, I find the colada here to be repulsive. It does not taste like a colada. Tastes like minerals and metal and why do they serve it in a glass without a handle? I don't understand it. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a pleasant, value-oriented dining experience in Coconut Grove.

1/5 Stars | One of the Worst Steakhouse Experiences We've Ever Had…read more Our group travels extensively for work, and we've eaten at steakhouses all over the country. With that being said, Barilles Grill in Miami was easily one of the worst dining experiences any of us have ever had. We ordered approximately $600 worth of food and drinks, and nearly everything was a complete disappointment. The cowboy steak was absolutely terrible, with virtually zero flavor or seasoning. The sides were just as bland, and nothing about the meal came close to justifying the prices. We also ordered the sweetbreads, only to quickly discover that sweetbreads aren't bread at all, but actually cow glands. Obviously, that's something we wish we had known beforehand. The food was so disappointing that we ended up sending almost our entire $600 order back. We eat at restaurants constantly and are generally very understanding when things aren't perfect, but this was beyond unacceptable. What made everything worse was the customer service. When we tried explaining our concerns, there was a significant language barrier, and we struggled to find anyone who could effectively understand or address the situation. Rather than making an effort to help, the staff came across as extremely disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unwilling to accommodate us. Bad food is one thing, but bad food combined with terrible customer service makes for an absolutely miserable experience. For a restaurant charging these kinds of prices, the complete lack of quality, flavor, and professionalism was honestly shocking. If you have taste buds and enjoy a properly seasoned steak, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Miami has far too many incredible restaurants to waste $600 on an experience like this. Easily one of the worst meals we've had anywhere in the country. Would absolutely never return or recommend.
