Great atmosphere, great food, friendly staff. Went with my daughter and had a turkey club. Very tasty.

Half fast subs was a cool little spot where I found that college students seemed to love. There wasn't any parking for this place which wasn't cool and the wait was pretty long for a single sub. They have cool promotions like showing your tattoo on certain days for a discount. I got the half-fast sub (of course) and it was mediocre but I was hungry so i chowed that thing down. I can imagine this is the spot to be as a drunk, hungover, or high college kid.

They are staffed with 4 or 5 people during a dinner rush and they stand around doing anything but making sandwiches. I have waited upwards of an hour for a sandwich during a lunchtime rush. There is serious problem with management at this restaurant

After a bad-ass rock show next door at Fox Theatre, the first thought on my mind was late night eats. Opening up my handy dandy Yelp app, I realized Half Fast Subs was open till 1am. Radness! I was reading the menu on the short walk over, and it felt like there were 100 subs on the menu. FTW. I didn't believe it. Then I walked up to the counter and was greeted by one of the largest menu boards I've ever seen. Yep, there were literally 100 sandwiches up there. But like, how? How I ask! I went with the 7" Buff Chicken Sub on French bread. I also ordered a PBR, because it just felt right. The torpedo of a sub came out very quickly. Mostly big chunks of chicken, buffalo sauce, bleu cheese, celery pieces and crusty bread. The end result satisfied the craving, but left more to be desired. That's just my humble opinion, man. As a 28-year-old, there's not too many places I venture to that has me leading the pack age-wise. I was literally the oldest person here! It's a college joint plain and simple, and I'm glad the Boulder alums have late night places to eat like this. My experience here took me back to my dorm room days. And in this instance, that was A-OK.

This place is SO good! Love their meatball sub, their vegetarian options, and the strong island iced teas.

Waited 30 mins for a sandwich that was filled with pure steak fat, hardly any steak. One of the worst sandwiches Ive ever had.

Their sandwiches are pretty good, but we mostly go for the pitchers. Great environment if you're looking to casually day drink with friends.

And they do a damn good job of it! The cool thing is that it's a sandwich shop AND a Häagen Dazs ice cream store rolled up into one. Has to be one of the only places in the country of its kind! Savory or sweet, you'll find something you love here. The menu boasts sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast, kids meals, and of course the full Häagen Dazs menu. Italian Stallion // ham, pepperoni, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion, balsamic vinaigrette, yellow mustard & mayo on marbled rye. The Italian American favorite. All the salty and tangy notes were hit. I don't love the bread choice personally, but to each their own! I just think it would've been even more flavorful on the Ciabatta roll. Now I'm a little biased because I grew up in the Häagen Dazs world. My family owned two shops until I was 18! They have some unique flavors on hand that I haven't seen in store or other brick and mortars. I loved the selection they have on site here. Plus, the employees will happily sample whatever flavor you want to try! Huge store with lots of space to sit. Easy ordering process for either the deli or the ice cream. And seriously, some of the most friendly employees I've seen in a hot minute. For something quick and on the go, Lindsay's Boulder Deli gets my stamp of approval. And if you're lucky enough to run into Lindsay herself, you're sure in for a treat!

Prior to entering, we heard it may be run by a cult, however, we did not look into it as it was quite literally the only place on all of Pearl street open for breakfast other than Snooze which we were banned from as my sister as meeting friends there. We were a bit skeptical the whole dining process but the food and drinks were honestly delicious. We got the iced mint mocha which was so delicious, green tea, yogurt parfait, breakfast sandwich, and spinwich. All of the ingredients were fresh, well prepared, and tasty. Once we left, we read about the background history and some of the values of the twelve tribes associated with the Yellow Deii. Had we known the tribe and beliefs it is linked to, we likely would not have eaten here.

Looking for a save at that corner we decided to give Cheba Hut a try. We had never been to one even though there was one in the Hill years ago. It never looked or smelled inviting. But I had read positive reviews of this new one on Yelp so given that it was not packed with students, we gave it a try though disappointed not to have one of our longtime favorites. Even so, we had a decent meal. I could have something as light and small as I needed yet get something fresh and with a toasted warm roll. I appreciate the various sizes too. Small for me as an experiment in taste and quality. Medium for my husband who wanted warm and filling.i am so glad it's so easy to customize leaving off flavors I do not want, like garlic and green peppers, both of which are difficult for me to digest. I got the Magic Mushrooms, like a sweet little salad on a warm roll. The dressing was fresh to taste, all veggies came through and even the mushrooms were fresh not sautéed as I had expected. Will be even better in the summer though maybe not on a winter day that this wasn't, on a very mild week. My husband had the meatball bomb, warm and saucy with melted cheese and marinara. It was more than twice as big as mine. Good to know if you are hungry. I was able to make my custom tea blend at the self serve soda counter and please to do so. Cute cups too. There were plenty of takeout orders being made so it took a few minutes to get ours. But the bar was half full, the lift doors to the large patio closed so it was still quite comfortable inside. Amazingly more clean than the old one on the Hill from what I could see back then. There was music and screen to entertain but not overpower. I did not see any desserts I would eat but we headed back down the mall afterwards towards a favorite place. I have to say, for a place we did not intend to go, we really had a decent dinner and I would go back again in a warm day and try the patio when the sun is shining. It's a long time classic sub shop, more modern and clean than expected.
