I am extremely specific when it comes to things like style or choosing something I want. Alex made me feel so safe and really helped me feel calm. She listened to everything so carefully and I could feel she really understands hair in her bones, and has such vision. Thank you so much Alex, it was such a pleasure to see you work and now I have this fabulous cut too ;) The Fever Few location is very cozy and cute. I was so relaxed and parking was easy. Will definitely come back.

Jen is absolutely AMAZING, literally the hair stylist of my dreams!…read more I have 2b wavy hair and have searched the entire world for someone who could give me a haircut that's not a freaking triangle. I discovered Jen about 2 years ago, and every time she cuts my hair I'm blown away by how skilled she is. She really, really knows curly/wavy hair. As an added bonus, she truly is the loveliest person. She is warm and fun and just an overall great human being that's going to make you feel comfortable. She also laughs at my jokes (and it's the best laugh you've ever heard). I'm not too proud to admit my hair is like 75% of my identity and now, thanks to Jen, I don't have to bust out the curling iron and 12 products to look decent. I just wake up with a good hair day every day :) Makes me feel SO confident and joyful! Jen is a GEM!

On 5/29/26, I dropped off my super curly haired teenager here so they could do some magic for $300…read more We showed photos of what he wanted. I told Melissa he's a high schooler and also needs a sustainable cut/style. I should have never walked away leaving my underage kid there. I was really counting on Melissa to figure out if the look he wanted was possible with his hair texture after she got in his hair. When my kiddo came out, he had a fro with undefined curls, I was shocked and I could tell that my son was not happy. He said he thought there would be further styling or cutting but that did not happen. My teen doesn't quite yet have his voice to speak up. Needless to say when we got home, he was in tears and he had to stay home instead of going to a dinner event. I called the salon the next day and spoke to Angie. I sent her the pictures of what he wanted and what he ended up with. She said they would find a solution immediately. However it's been over a week of text messages that have not been returned. None of my voice mails have been returned. I even walked in to the salon and Angie was out to lunch. I was told Nicole would call me back. That has not happened. I managed to talk to Angie and she promised she would talk to Nicole that day and get me a response. It's now been over 7 days and this has not been resolved. We walked away paying Melissa $345 including tip. And another $100 in products. Seems like we need a call back and definitely need a redo which they advertise as their policy if there is unsatisfactory service or a refund. I hope that if Melissa reads this or the owners, they might consider growing a conscience in the treatment we have received.

Service: I went in with Didem not really knowing what I wanted but knowing I needed something different. Before our appointment she was amazing at communicating and going over my photo inspiration while also giving me some positive feedback and styling suggestions. She turned my black box dyed hair into a vibrant rasberry red which I am obsessed with, and have received endless compliments on. . Products: A huge plus to note is the quality products she uses, the hair color brand she carries is ammonia free, eco- certified and organic and checks so many more boxes in the realm of sustainability and transparency. Looking good doesnt have to be a bad thing, and I'm so happy that I found a stylist who is aware and cares about the products she uses. Location: In the same shopping center where Yardhouse, Starbucks is located. Take the elevator or Escalators up to cholo Cafe. The salon is on the same level- right above the H&M- Call Didem when you arrive so she meets you outside. Parking: It's underground paid parking, but Didem validates and its free for the 1st two hours I believe. (Make sure you drive and park at the very end near El Cholo Cafe /on the H&M side so you don't have to walk through the entire plaza ( unless you don't mind) Also, just a side note If you book a longer service you might have to pay around $7 or little less. And last resort in case you don't want to pay for parking at all is to look for free street parking. Hope this review is helpful to anyone in need of an amazing hair stylist! I'm super excited in booking my next service with Didem!

I was in the salon for about a 1 1/2 hours. My stylist said he cuts dry so getting it blow dried was not my choice and I could have and would have gone without as the charge extra for a blow dry which seemed odd. I tried to call to ask after my appointment why i was charged so much. When I had called on the phone to book my appointment I was originally quoted around 160 which was on par for my usual stylist who will do multiple colors, a conditioning treatment, trim, and a full style. This was literally just a trim, one tube of color for my ends and that's it. Maybe there was a miscommunication but if the stylist had told me the cost prior to starting the service, I probably would have said no thanks. Usually I can do my color at home but I needed a trim so I thought why not just try out some stylists out here since I just moved. I'll probably go to my normal stylist in OC just due to the cost. My stylist did a great job and the owner was really nice. I just wish I was told the cost upfront and gotten a call back so I can understand why it was such a high price point for a very simple service. BTW I HATE leaving reviews that are less than 5 stars because I always love supporting small business and this is in no way a reflection on my stylist or the experience. I now know to confirm that what I was quoted over the phone is what the fee is prior to starting the service to avoid any misunderstandings in the future. I appreciate you guys taking care of me but I would highly recommend informing the client of pricing prior to the service especially if it's a first timer.

They really cared about what I wanted and were very thoughtful about the kind of balayage that would work best for me. However, when I got home, I discovered I had chemical burns on my scalp, neck and face, as well as a blister on my ear that broke the skin. It's been more than 24 hours and the symptoms are still present and highly uncomfortable. I've had many color treatments and balayages in the past and this has never happened to me before, so I'm very concerned. I love my hair, but the skin damage makes this a really tough experience. Edit: I am updating my rating from 2 to 3 stars to express my appreciation for the salon's prompt communication and offer of a refund. To keep my review honest and transparent, I do want to note that the physical reaction I experienced was a clear chemical burn, with localized areas feeling burning and oozing. This might have been an oversight during the process--such as product being left on a bit too long or not rinsed out thoroughly. The stylists here are undeniably talented, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time during the appointment itself. While the physical reaction was unfortunate, their effort to communicate with me is appreciated.
