We stopped in on Sunday, they were closed and only in to do inventory. They were kind enough to allow us to purchase some items as we waltzed in and starting grabbing items off the shelves... we were looking for Innersense Hair products. The owner explained that they were actually closed but told us we could purchase the items... they accept Venmo here. Clean, bright interiors Truly nice people and we will return when they are open. Feverfew - Eagle Rock - Innersense products! - Hair Stylists Near Me - Eagle Rock, California

I hadn't cut my hair for 3-4 years and decided to go from below the boob to pixie. I found Feverfew on a Reddit thread and found a stylist (Alex) who had similar cuts to what I was looking for on her IG. I am extremely specific when it comes to things like style or choosing something I want. Alex made me feel so safe and really helped me feel calm. I could sense from how she worked that I was in sweet but entirely capable hands. She listened to everything so carefully and I could feel she really understands hair in her bones, and has such vision. Thank you so much Alex, it was such a pleasure to see you work and now I have this fabulous cut too ;) The Fever Few location is very cozy and cute. I was so relaxed and parking was easy. Will definitely come back. read more

It feels amazing to go to someone new and they absolutely nail it! I would highly recommend going to Kylie for a euphoric haircut experience. read more

On Tuesday, May 13th at 10 a.m., I had an appointment at Feverview Eagle Rock with Kylie. I've been a client of Kylie's for about a year and a half, but in hindsight, I deeply regret continuing to see her after our first appointment, which was upsetting and mishandled from the beginning. I want to share my experience, not out of malice, but because no one deserves to be treated the way I was. When I first started going to Feverview in 2021, I saw Amber. Amber was not only incredibly talented but also made me feel safe and heard especially important after I had a bleaching accident over a decade ago. Amber created the bright copper-red that I'm known for and even asked me to be a model to demonstrate the technique to other stylists, including Kylie. Amber later moved away, and because Kylie had been present during that educational session, I assumed I would be in good hands moving forward. Unfortunately, during my very first appointment with Kylie ignored everything shown in the demonstration. Kylie didn't refer to the formula Amber had logged and gave me a dark auburn instead of my signature vibrant copper. She ended up having to strip all my color and have me return the next day to fix it. Still, I gave her another chance, and for about a year, my color was acceptable. Three months ago, I trusted Kylie with a haircut for the first time. I had sent detailed videos, a reference chart, and pictures of a vintage "middy" (also known as a 1950s U-shaped bob). She executed it well, and I was pleased. So, I returned on May 13th, requesting the same cut only slightly shorter. This is where things fell apart... When I mentioned wanting to do the vintage middy again, Kylie didn't know what that was. That was deeply concerning since we had just done this same cut three months earlier, and I had provided the same detailed references again. I handed her the visuals once more, and she said she understood. I tend to be a very kind and gentle communicator, but I'm also particular with my hair. I politely asked where the back and front lengths would fall. Kylie brushed it off, saying, "I'm just going to go for it." I repeated my question gently, just wanting clarity before scissors touched my hair, but again, "I'm just going to go for it." Then, she turned me away from the mirror and began cutting. When she turned me around, I saw my hair and my heart sank. I quietly said, "Oh no. I don't like it... this is not what I asked for. I think I hate it, I'm so sorry." Kylie looked me in the eyes with visible anger and said, "I'm sorry you feel that way," and then walked away. What followed next was truly traumatizing. From behind the wall where the color is mixed, I could clearly hear Kylie loudly talking badly about me to another stylist for five to seven minutes while I sat in the chair, shaking. Someone I had trusted and had a friendly rapport with was now ridiculing me behind my back, just feet away. Kylie returned, applied my root color in silence, and then left again resuming the rant, again audible from the chair. I could barely breathe. I was visibly trembling. Eventually, Kylie returned and told me flatly, "You can either have me finish your haircut or choose someone else. I spoke to the owners." I told her I felt uncomfortable, and her reply was, "Well, I feel uncomfortable too." I gently but firmly explained, "You didn't do what I asked for at all. And then you treated me cruelly after I said I didn't like it. I heard what you said about me." Kylie's response? "Okay, well, you heard me... so then ?" I was stunned. I reminded her that I, too, work in the beauty industry and would never treat a client like this. Kylie's answer: "We're just different people." There was no apology. No ownership. Just coldness. Eventually, Kylie said the owners would reach out to me, and that was the end of our interaction. I left devastated not only because my hair was butchered, but because of how I was treated. The haircut looked like it had been done by someone who had no training. I truly left feeling emotionally traumatized. Lauren, one of the owners, did reach out. She was understanding, kind, and immediately issued a full refund. I appreciate that gesture and the communication I've received from her. But what happened should never happen to anyone. Even at my most upset, I remained calm, soft-spoken, and even apologized as I explained how I felt. I even told Kylie how hard it was for me not to tip that it's not who I am. That's how much I care about people. And yet, I was treated with cruelty, disrespect, and what felt like outright contempt. No one should leave a salon in tears, trembling, or feeling humiliated. No one should be spoken about with such hostility within earshot. And no one should be made to feel like their presence is a burden after placing their trust in a professional. I hope sharing this helps protect others from going through what I did. I would never wish this experience on anyone. read more

Erika cut my hair today. She really listened to what I wanted and was able to work with my curl and damaged hair to give me the best haircut I've ever had. The haircut was edgy and versatile while being easy to style. The salon has a very relaxed atmosphere and I will be returning for sure. Highly recommend! Thanks Erika read more

I made an appointment on a whim after reading Frances' profile. She's a master at curls. I rolled in the salon just having rolled out of the shower with a crazy head of waves. She fixed and cut them to perfection and made me a stylish longer shag. Dry cut. I have bangs again! Love my hair. It's not a lot of work either. Days later it still looks great. Frances is also a really cool one. Thanks for a great cut and chat!!!! read more

I had my hair cut by Lela and she did an outstanding job! She asked lots of questions about how much time I spend styling my hair, how I wear it, etc., and the result is a lovely cut that is growing out beautifully. I shower, I put in some product and let it air dry, and it looks great--it's basically my dream hair. She also was very kind about accommodating me (I booked the wrong service by mistake) so I got out of there on time, which I really appreciated. As someone with complicated hair (it has a few different textures, but is mostly coarse and I have a ton of it), I really appreciate her artistry and skill. The salon is adorable and I found street parking nearby. read more

I've been coming to Feverfew for several years now and it's been nothing but great! I saw Erica for a bit (got some very cute haircuts) but switched over to Kylie when I wanted to incorporate color back into my routine. I've been seeing Kylie for my cut/color for about 2 years now and I've had some of my favorite hairstyles in that time. Kylie is super friendly, takes the time to ask questions and learn what look I'm going for, and is incredibly attentive during the entire appointment. They're always down to help me figure out my next look (I like to change my hair up fairly often) and offer suggestions if I need them. I typically have reference photos but like to get her thoughts on what might work best with my hair type/face shape/etc. As a queer ND person, those are exactly the vibes I want and I've always left the salon feeling and looking great! read more

$50-60 for existing bang trim IS INSANE! what the hell youre barely cutting lengths of hair

It's about time I wrote a review about this place! I don't do reviews, but it needs to be said that Lela at Feverfew Eagle Rock is the place to go for non toxic hair care and quality- and by the way, all the products smell amazing. Lela is the best! Very attentive and get experience really shows. She gave me exactly what I asked for- a cute little textured Bob that I can air-dry- and I love my hair, thank you so much! read more

Kylie is the best hairstylist i've ever been! Since I moved to LA, she's my one and only. She's always patient and makes sure that she's in the right path with you, she never does anything without your consent, always asking if she's in the right way. I've never felt so safe with a hairdresser before! She always make my hair ideas real. I love her!! read more

Immaculate service every time! I absolutely love feverfew!!! Ive been seeing Kylie for about 3 years and I'm quite loyal to her. I got a cut and color here just before the last lockdown, and it was super amazing! First and foremost, they're as safe as humanly possible. Everyone masked up, sanitizer stations galore, generous space, more than 6' between stylists, and adhering to all guidelines. Oh and no one in the waiting area (not sure what the current policy is, so you might want to check ahead, if you're bringing a pal.) My stylist was Lauren (also owner). I asked for a conservative shag (not wanting extreme tapering) and natural color that would blend well with my pandemic gray. She delivered as always (she's been my stylist for years, I used to go to her old shop, Stag). I even got a masked ring light pic to show off my new do (and advocate for safe styling). Lastly, the space is beautiful, serene, and might just calm your rattled nerves. It's also about twice as big as Stag (if you ever went there), which is a huge bonus in the COVID era. Oooh and ample parking (at least when I when I went). read more

Alex provided a really in depth consultation, and helped me understand my hair. The texture has changed so much in the last few years and I just didn't know how to handle it anymore. She was so helpful and taught me so much about the cut I was looking for and how it would work for me. She was very thoughtful about the products she used and taught me how to use them to achieve what I wanted. Especially products that previously I avoided because I didn't understand how to use them properly. I had a great experience, and love my cut. read more

Cute little salon. Even though they were obviously busy the salon had a very calm and relaxed vibe. No receptionist or front desk, you just text when you get there and your stylist will come to the waiting area. I got a great razor cut from Chelsea and could not be happier. My only regret was not asking what product she used on me while I was there. I should have picked up whatever styling cream she used, it held great for a few days and smelled amazing. Will definitely book again. read more

Got a long shag haircut with curtain bangs several months ago by Chelsea and my friends are still asking me if I just cut my hair because it looks so nice (with and without styling). Stephanie is AMAZINGGGGG. Originally I came in to have a botched color job fixed, and she nailed it. She used color remover to get out the red and go back to my original blonde balayage, and it looks so fantastic! I scheduled a haircut with her after that, and she very thoughtfully listened to what I wanted and made my hair look and feel so much better. She's also incredibly kind and fun to talk to. Definitely see Stephanie when you go!! read more

Alex is such a wonderful hairdresser and a sweet person to boot! She made me feel heard during our consultation, cut my hair so thoughtfully and skillfully, and explained exactly what she was doing as she was styling it. I am extremely pleased with how my haircut turned out! For my fellow introverts out there, Alex isn't one to gab a lot while she works. She explained up front that she wanted to concentrate on what she was doing, and I appreciated that. I could just sit back, relax, and enjoy watching her work her magic. I don't get my hair cut professionally very often, but sitting in Alex's chair was a treat that I look forward to experiencing again. Thank you Alex! read more

Feverfew - Eagle Rock - Waiting area. So cute! - Hair Stylists Near Me - Eagle Rock, California

Like many, I've followed the Feverfew team over from Stag and couldn't be happier with this new spot. Same great service and awesome work in an even bigger, cleaner, more distanced space. Alex, love my cut. I know I have the most difficult hair to cut, thin, super straight, boring, but you made it come to live. Love it.

I was on a hunt for a new cut & colorist because I've had a hard time getting in with my regular gals and I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place!! It's cute AF, chill (not super noisy like most salons) & most of all, I love my hair. I got a color from Lela & a cute baby shag cut from Erika. I wanted to keep my natural greys coming in but make a more cohesive color for my natural color & didnt even know if that was possible, but Lela nailed it! And my hair is HARD to cut - it's really thick & wavy but Erica created the cutest freakin moderate shag that is low maintenance & bouncy. I just made it through my first time washing it & it even passed the test of me half blow drying/half air dry on my own. 10/10 would recommend, thanks for being awesome! read more

I was dying to get bangs and even out the haircut I gave myself (yeah, we've all been there) and I decided to search for a hair salon close to my place and I Fever Few was listed as one of the best in LA. I have curly hair and it can be tricky to give it bangs and layers AND a short length but she nailed it!!! I'm in love with my hair and I will for sure come back to get my next hair cut with her. Also, the place is super cute, quiet and a low toxic salon. I loved it!!! read more
