My sister came to get her hair cut and KIM cut her hair and did a terrible job I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING HAIR CUT HERE KIM RUIEND HER HAIR AND DIDNT want to do anything to make it better.. she was being rude and not accommodating a customers needs... she deserves a good hair cut what she paid for & her money back & to be compensated for the hardship she had to go thru with this place. Just got a permanent from Brian and am so pleased at the care he took throughout. Instead of wrapping a strip of cotton around before the permanent solution was applied and, also, before the neutralizing solution was applied, he wrapped three strips around so there were no drips at all. This was the third permanent I've received from Brian and they've all lasted at least three months each. Couldn't be more pleased!! read more

Maria recently left the shop so I stopped coming here. 2nd best person is Sun but Maria still the best so I followed her to another salon. I do like the Hairmaster products so I'll sometimes stop in for Regis products but no haircuts unless you want a jenky cut. read more

Asked for a shampoo, cut & blow dry. Was informed blow dry is extra, sure, that's fine. Didn't get shampooed, blow dryer was brought out to blow the cut hair off. Quick haircut though, Mr. Burton ultimately did what I needed done in 15 minutes ish. read more

My daughter and I went to get our haircuts today. When we went we has a short wait before our stylist got started. I saw Rae who did a great job with trimming my dead ends, she listened to what I wanted and delivered. Now my daughter (she's 6) saw Jami, and Jami was AMAZING with her. She listened to both my daughter and I about what we wanted Tricia's hair cut to be and blew it out of the water. I drive from Covington past many hair cutteries and even other HairMasters locations to see Rae. She is great. I have had two good haircuts in the three years I have lived here and they both came from her at another location. She moved and I attempted to stay close to home and try other stylists. It just doesn't work that way though! When you find someone who actually listens, knows what they are doing, and is not speaking to everyone but you while you are there- you gotta hang on to that! She not only pays attention to what you want, she actually talks to you while she cuts and she's funny :) I have had double the length sheared off, dumb and dumber bangs, cut my own hair in desperation, etc all until I finally found Rae again thanks to another Yelp Review that mentioned her. I am so happy to have hair I can be confident about again and can't believe I pay so little while other places charge more for less quality. read more

I made an appointment with a stylist a week in advance for my 7 year old daughter. When I arrived I sat down in the chair next to my daughter and the stylist. The store manager advised me that the policy was that I needed to wait up front until the appointment is over. She said this in passing. Then the stylist started to further explain to me the policy because I had questions. I asked her where was I supposed to sit because I didn't see any chairs up front. Before I could answer; her co worker, Terrance interrupted and said that I needed to wait outside. I told him that I had my daughter in the chair. He told me it didn't matter and policy is policy. I was trying to clarify the policy because she's only a child yet he wanted me to wait outside. He accused me of having an attitude when I was only asking questions and he got really close to us practically yelling. Very rude and disrespectful. The stylist stepped in and told him that she was in the middle of explaining policy when he rudely interjected causing more confusion. He was very close to her and the stylist politely asked him to step back. At first he wouldn't. I asked Terrace if it was okay to make sure my daughter was okay before I left. He rudely said, SHES FINE THATS YOUR SISTER RIGHT. I said that is besides the point. It's my daughter and her comfort is important to me. However Terrance decided to make a scene out of situation that the stylist was already in the process of taking care of. His comments were unnecessary & interaction was unnecessary. Furthermore, management was of no help. She didn't chime in to diffuse the situation at all. I understand policy but all I needed was understanding. I decided to leave with my child because of how he treated me. This was my first visit and my sister doesn't ever do my daughters hair. This was not a great experience. read more

This place claims no appointment necessary but every time you enter they refuse to service you until the next day. I have entered this salon to see stylists standing around with no waiting customers only to be told i can't get a simple hair cut till the next day. They dont great you apon entering either. Since COVID hit, my 87 year old mother has been unable/unwilling to get a haircut anywhere. I stopped in one day and spoke with....Melinda?.....Melissa? ......sorry......and they had just opened and both her and the other worker were wearing masks over their mouth AND noses. I explained to her about my concerns about bring my mother in and she was very patient and informative and walked me through how everything was sterilized between customers. Less than an hour later, I had my mother in a chair and getting her well overdue haircut. Anytime Melinda/Melissa (?) walked away from cutting my mothers hair, whatever she grabbed was sterilized and then her hands were before she continued cutting my mothers hair. The other guy working there had finished cutting a customers hair and wiped down the counter, debit/credit card machine and door handles as soon as he left. I was very impressed with their safety concerns. Mom liked her hair cut too !! read more

Gone there 7 times and I'm going to go back again. There are a few people who have issues when they do a walk-in and I have the same problem. I usually have to wait about 15 minutes to get my hair cut. My stylist added my hair cut style to the computer so next time I don't have to explain it. If I could walk right in and get my hair cut at any time, I would give they 5 stars, but then again, if I could do that, they would probably suck and get 1 star! I'm sticking with 4 stars. read more

My daughter worked a lot of overtime to treat me to new color and some highlights, while she also was getting her hair done. She had set aside a small fortunate for this mother daughter outing. While I was concern about prices she wasn't. I wasn't really sure what I want because I don't do this often and my old stylist was great about giving me advice but she moved out of state. Well what I was told was going to be the color and the color of my highlights was a HUGH disappointment I was very unhappy and my daughter is beyond upset. Now to her . Both my daughter and I thought her stylist was on the same page when she requested a all over color and 3 different color of highlights with red being the dominant one. WRONG. didn't happen that way. On top of that 1" requested cut off turned into a whole hell of a lot more. They were all happy and hey who won't be but we on the other hand were anything but. I feel for my daughter it took a lot of overtime to pay for this mother daughter time . We will be looking for a different salon. Thought this would become our go to place but not after this. My opinion just stay away. Also in the times we been there never can we see the same stylist. When we ask for her - we get oh they are no longer here. Hard to get to have someone know what you prefer when they have such a turn over. Wish we would have choose a different place. The cost was not the factor the results were. read more
