Eyebrow shaping aside, I have very thick hair and what I've noticed that compared to other places, they're reallyy good at threading and pulling all of the hairs out of the root and making the brows look very clean and pretty. She repeatedly opened and closed the treatment room door during my service, which made the experience feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. I'm used to being waxed by Irina, who always takes the time to prep the skin with powder, checks in throughout the appointment, and makes sure I'm as comfortable as possible. This experience was the complete opposite. Lorena was extremely rough and repeatedly pulled wax strips over the same sensitive areas again and again. The pain was unbearable. She apologized several times during the appointment, which made it clear that even she knew something wasn't going well. When I left the salon, I was in significant pain. It genuinely felt like the top layer of skin had been removed in parts of the treated area. I've had Brazilian waxes for years and understand that some discomfort is normal, but this was far beyond anything I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded my confidence in booking with her again. I've also heard from others that this isn't the first time clients have had concerns about her services, which makes my experience even more concerning.
