Katie has been cutting my hair for about six years now. I have a short queer undercut asymmetrical haircut. She gets it right everytime! It grows out great between shave ups. I can wear it rocker with the short shave out or curl it for a softer looks. All the photos are of the same cut with styled differently. I see Katie every 2-3 months for a shave up and trim. Chic little vibe in their salon with decor and a tiny bit of shopping. Very friendly staff and an attentive, busy receptionist. I needed a color correction from my home dye job lol and Kayla came through. I found this salon on Yelp that had good reviews so I gave them a shot. I had dyed my hair twice with some dye from Sally's trying to get a copper red and it just didn't work! Even with a high lift color for dark hair. Anyway, I went in for a consult and Bianca and Kayla both went over my hair together and were confident they could do it. I went back the next day and after about 4 hours we hit a copper color that was really pretty BUT after some consideration, I figured I couldn't get away with it at my corporate job. So, I went back a few days later and got it toned down and voila! Just want I wanted!! And to top it all off, my hair still feels very healthy. I have been trying to look for a haircut salon since I moved here from Houston and I came across Hair Revolution on google search and decided to give it a try due to the good reviews. I am a big oribe product fan and having to find a salon out here that carry those products was quite hard. I was glad to see they carry really good hair products and that's one of the reason I gave it a shot. I arrived 10 min early before my 3:15pm appointment. (And yes, my apt was 3:15 not 3:30 like they say.) But unfortunately, I had to wait additional 20 min on top of my appointment so my hair stylist didn't see me until around 3:35pm. When I approached the receptionist and asked how long it would take knowing I have been waiting for nearly 30 min, she said that the stylist is eating real quick and will be right out. I understand that they're super busy throughout the day especially on the weekends, but it would have been better if they scheduled their lunch more responsibly where I didn't have to waste my time waiting when I had somewhere to be. Weekends are important to me especially spending quality time with my family. There is a reason why I made an appointment and expected that to be met. But I understand that things happens and would like for them to be more aware of that. But anyways, Soraya was the stylist who cut my hair. She was super nice and also helpful. I had a lot of hair and she tried her best to make it feel lighter as much as she can. One thing I noticed around here, there's not enough diversity when it comes to working on different textured hair. I have really thick hair and she truly did her best which I truly appreciate. My cut was nice, the styling is okay. And I paid $75 which was reasonable. Not sure if I'll be back again but I wish them the best! read more

Super sweet people, but they did not know how to cut curly hair if you have straight hair this place could work for you, but if you had curly hair, I would recommend an alternative plan. They definitely tried to work with my hair, but they are not trained to know how to cut curly hair. I sat down and my stylist asked me to brush out my hair dry which is a big no no for curly hair so I had to explain that and I also had to explain what shrinkage was and she didn't really know how to style it and I also left with wet hair. again, she just didn't know exactly how to do it technical wise which has not her fault I understand it probably just wasn't in her training, but I would recommend going to a specified, curly salon, again she was very, very very sweet, but I just wouldn't recommend if you have curly hair if you straight hair they're absolutely so sweet and nice. read more

My first experience here was absolutely amazing! Katie did a gorgeous job on my partial highlights. I told her how I loved my hair bright blonde, but with a golden tone and I couldn't be happier with the result. She also added in some subtle lowlights for dimension and used a really nice gold toning shampoo. Katie was very knowledgeable and went over some swatches with me to make sure the color was everything I wanted. I went in with a hot mess - I was a hot mess - my hair had been over processed - and then cut wrong - and then an entire dark color put on without my knowing - and I was a basket case - not to mention my hair was to my shoulders ! I've been getting my hair cut by Soraya for a few years and it was time for my 1st year old to get his first official haircut. Soraya was so attentive, patient, and very detailed. First off, it's been a minute since I've been to a salon. And I'm not the type that does research to find a good salon. I just go wherever's closest/cheapest. Well, I did research this time and I'm glad I did! Although there are some reviews that make some strong accusations against Hair Revolution, the positives made it sound worth the risk. I was proven right in my risk assessment, and I couldn't be happier with my experience/the results! I've never dyed or put any color in my hair before (aside from some temp highlights about 20 yrs ago!), my natural color is the Auburn/strawberry blonde color you see throughout the majority of my hair. These past couple years have been rough and I've spent much of it barely surviving. I finally feel like I'm in a place where I can start to actually live again, and this crazy color along with a fresh new cut/style was one of several decisions honoring that reality! I even got to sip a little Rosé while getting treated ;) Yarely is a gem! She listened to everything I wanted, she took risks with me as I asked for them, and she was kind/genuine throughout the whole experience. I like sometimes to just sit in silence on the rare occasion I go in for any type of spa/hair/nails treatment (I've got 5 kids under 12 years. Silence is R.A.R.E!). It helps me soak it in. Yarely respected the times I chose to remain silent and laughed/chatted with me in the times I felt like talking. The therapeutic feel of this appointment did so much for not only my hair, but my heart. Yarely, I can't thank you enough for taking me on for this appointment! And spending over half the day on/with me! #violaceous The salon itself was welcoming, clean, smelled nice & I was treated cordially/complimented from each staff member present. I 100% recommend trying out this salon! I was taken care of by Katie C. who did a fabulous job with my hair cut and color. She knew exactly what I was going for and checked on me continuously. I was also able to close my eyes and relax while she was working on me which I appreciate so much. I made an appointment with Soraya; the first salon appointment I've made in 5 years. Let me just say Soraya is incredible at what she does. Jazzy was AMAZING as always - she talked it through with her, showed her pictures, and then gave her the cutest pixie cut - and help bundle the hair so my daughter can donate it. This was our first visit back to the salon since the COVID-19 pandemic started. The salon is very diligent with the safety procedures - clients wait in the car until the stylist is ready, temperature checks at the door, everyone wears masks and maintains social distance, chairs are disinfected between clients, and air cleaners are placed throughout. I'm about to spill the beans on Hair Revolution because I LOVE this hair salon! I had long virgin hair until up to a little over a year ago when I decided I wanted to change it up. I did some research and booked an appointment with Patty! Since I didn't really know exactly what I wanted because this was my first time I completely left it all up to her, of course we talked about it and she showed me some pictures she thought would look great on me! LET ME TELL YOU GIRL! Patty made that day unforgettable seriously the color was gorgeous, it felt smooth and my cut was just over the top I could cry. Sy and Jazzy the two managers are always welcoming and sweet(: I love the fact that Sy has always returned my phone calls I mean he's just a great guy to have a laugh with! Every hair stylist that works there is so kind and they all get along so great it's just all positive energy!
