Just an update I got a call from the manager of the factory today and she explained to me that I should be happy I got a free terrible haircut. That I should not have been upset yesterday because my hair got butchered by Madison. Maybe the manager is right I should have been thankful for the resources I won't expend in that I can use less shampoo and conditioner. Thankful that I no longer need to spend time combing my hair as it is so short. Thankful my hair won't take as long to dry now. Attitude reflects leadership and if this is the managers attitude I get why the employees are like this. Do not go there in my honest opinion and this is from a regular customer for over 4 years now

They sent me to who was available who happened to have a cheaper rate. And she did a terrible job. Two weeks later I noticed I kept playing with the hair along my ears. I noticed she did not trim it. It was driving me nuts so I booked with my regular stylist elsewhere and she said it was a bad haircut. That was $30 down the drain. I wonder if they don't screen staff? Have them do a men's and women's cut before hiring.

I know that all the stylists are excellent and constantly seeking further education on new techniques and styles. I even finally convinced my Husband to see Tito instead of a random person at a chain salon. His hair is much, much better for it. Tito even got him to add a conditioner to his regular 3-in-1 body wash/shampoo routine. I'm forever grateful and we're both at least 20% better looking

She just needed a bang trim and so when she entered and no one greeted her, she sat and waited. She was never actually greeted and when finally acknowledged was rudely asked, "if you don't have an appointment, WHY are you sitting here???" and when she said what she wanted she was told the stylist had "8 minutes tomorrow around 4:45" so mom booked it. When she arrived today around 4:40, the stylist seemed to have just started a new client and said, "well, I didn't think you were actually coming back and I had a walk in come in! I don't have time to do anything today." So, mom left - sad, disappointed and frustrated. This behaviour by the stylist is RIDICULOUS and I'm glad I don't know which stylist this was as I have frequented this salon off and on for ELEVEN years. I typically recommend it but based on my mother being treated so poorly, I don't know if I'm going to go back!

There seems to be just the one stylist so best to book an appointment if you don't want to chance it. I told her how much I wanted off and how I wanted it cut. I didn't ask for a wash so she sprayed it with some water and got to work. Another customer came in and she told him it would be about 20 more minutes and I didn't feel rushed at all. I found the stylist to be skilled and she took her time to cut my hair with layering and thinned it out. I was there for close to 30 minutes and she charged $30 which I found decent compared to other salons. She told me she used to work at a salon in West Edmonton Mall and has been cutting hair for years. Great place for a haircut and friendly service! You never know what great places you will find in strip malls.

My first visit here I was worried they would put me in curlers and place me under one of those dome thingies that women use to dry their hair when they leave the house. Didn't happen. I was relieved when I walked in and saw other men just being dudes waiting for a haircut. Kim, the owner, is amiable, talkative and genteel. She even remembered who I was by name when I saw her again several months later. That's dedication. This place also offers pamper-y, salon-y, spa-like activities for the ladies such as waxing and threading which I didn't partake in. I'm just saying' so you know. Ya know? I don't quite get how needles in the forehead and hot wax on your intimate parts constitutes pampering, but who am I to judge? You can make appointments but walk-ins are also welcome. The atmosphere is nice, the music helped me to relax and the products they have went well with my hair. The only suggestion I'll give them is to improve their phone customer service, when I called to make my appointment the lady that took my information was a bit unwelcoming but as soon as I got into the salon everything went way better than I thought. I had to find out the truth for myself but luckily Michael said he would take one for the team. We arrived and we're greeted with a cheerful and kind crew. Including two very cute and personable dogs. I love pet friendly places, it always feels more cozy and fun. Mallorie got us both set up with coffee then started on Ms hair. She was very attentive to his feedback and was good with the clippers. An added bonus is that they take care of men's unruly eyebrows as a complimentary part of men's cuts. Win! I love the vibe here ( the music, the modern decor) and would recommend this place for someone who wants to find their regular hair place. They seem to have some loyal regulars who have discovered this gem, somewhat hidden in a strip mall on 34th. In fact, it seems like every client I saw (4) while I was waiting had been there before and had a history with their stylist. That says something. Repeat customers are a good barometer of a businesses success. The only thing I would hesitate with is if someone were not animal friendly, then they may not like the dogs running around. But to be honest they are so friendly, they even won over a cat person. I decided that I would come back in a few weeks when my hair was ready for a cut.
