The food was amazing. Best shawarma I've had in the area. The service is great and they have late hours which is a plus.

Delicious hidden gem for shawarmas! I am used to getting the shawarmas out in DC so I am happy to find there has been this spot locally that is just as good. I got the chicken shawarma on shrak combo. The shawarma itself is HUGE and cut in half. I could not finish and had the second half for lunch the next day and it was still just as good. Ingredients are fresh and you are able to customize the ingredients you want in your shawarma. Only thing I have to say is the meats themselves lack some flavor. Without the sauces your experience would be different. Instantly regretted not asking for extra garlic sauce. Service is very quick and location has decent indoor and outdoor seating

I won't lie, I'm incredibly disappointed with this place. Haifa Grill has been on my hit list for a while given its popularity and recommendations for good Shawarma. Quick service and a homey, humble interior. But, the taste of their food was not what I expected. I've had lots of shawarma in my life and in general love lots of flavor and spice. Their Chicken Shawarma was VERY bland and salty. I was surprised how bland and dry the chicken was. The sauces and veggies made it more palatable, but this was not it. Good, big portion sizes, but not the best Shawarma in the NOVA/DMV area unfortunately.

Chicken Shawarma with Pita Bread

Came by after leaving DC and tried their falafel pita and tabouleh as well as a chicken shawarma on pita w garlic sauce to go. We grabbed drinks on the way out. Both wraps were amazing flavor wise, and the tabouleh was fresh. After you order at the register you are then called by number to customize your order toppings at the counter. I wanted to note though that while in theory that way of ordering works^.. it seemed to really strain the employees serving food given how busy it was this evening (and prob every weekend). The person in front of us was super rude to the man serving toppings/making wraps.. And while he handled it really well, that maybe would not happen if you were only able to specify what could be on the sandwich at the register itself. A lot of kabob/halal spots give you the sandwich options with all toppings included, and if you want otherwise you have to then say what not to add- which may work better here given how amazingly packed they were for a Sunday.

Huge portions, reasonable prices! I had the chicken shawarma plate with rice and a side of hummus and pita. The shawarma came with pickles, onion, tomato and a white sauce. It was a little bland so I added hot sauce, but glad to have a healthy meal and enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I ordered delivery so I can't speak to how the restaurant or service in store is, but my food was prepared and delivered quickly.

Drove an hour here and was more than satisfied leaving! I ordered the chicken shawarma in shrak with their spicy sauce & hummus, along with all toppings available. The flavor was amazing, portion size is literally for two people so come hungry. Customer service was splendid as well. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!!

Beef Shawarma wrap in the making

The biggest shawarma wrap I've ever seen! Enough to feed two! Once you select your meat, you pick from a varied selection of veggies. I asked for everything; seasoned onions, dill pickle, tomato, lettuce, etc. Big, tasty, and reasonably priced, that's a winning combination.

This place is straight gas. I've never had a shrak before but it was like a thin blanket that wrapped all the food up securely, way better than a pita sandwich which I feel like never holds the food together. The pickles added the perfect tanginess to pull all the flavors together. Both the beef and chicken were very tender and moist, you can't go wrong with either one. I do recommend the shrak over the platter though. Their pita bread formed a perfect pocket and none of it was sticking together. Service was quick and easy, plenty of spacious seating upstairs.

Chicken Shawarma Shrak (SO GOOD)

Driving here put me in a bad mood haha The awkward turns to get into the parking lot and then finding out the parking lot is very small and incomplete... whew, I had to park in the lot next door. I wasn't sure what to expect inside after that fiasco, but wow, i'm glad I made it inside. I got the Chicken Shawarma Shrak, all spreads and toppings included (pickles on the side). This was one of the BEST Chicken Shawarma wraps I've ever had in the area. A lot of places make it too dry, but Haifa's was moist and full of flavor. Very generous in size too. Worth the headache of driving and parking there, I promise you!

Tasty chicken shawarma and huge portions! You can choose which fillings you want included in your wrap, I included everything and loved it. The place is super casual and they prepared my shawarma quickly, however it did get busy soon after I got there. The parking lot right outside is also quite small though and can be tricky to park in.

I was in the area for an appointment and got hungry, and this was the first place that popped up when I googled hummus lol. I only ordered hummus and falafel for a light lunch. It was very quick and the people at the counter were very friendly. It was some of the best hummus and falafel I've ever had and for a great price. It was gone in seconds. Will have to try a platter or shawarma when I'm in the area next!

Chicken shawarma on shrak.

I learned about Haifa on FB, and had to go myself on a search for the best chicken Shawarma. Damn, this is the real deal! Yes, it's $13 but it's enough food for lunch and dinner. Wife liked the beef better but I like the more tender chicken. Can't wait to comeback and get the spicy chicken again with everything on it! The pic gives you no perspective on how big that heifer is!

The price point isn't bad. I ordered the chicken shawarma on pita. The meat was fairly dry and it didn't have much flavor.

You can lounge on velvet couches along the sides or sit at tables with chairs to the right. There's also a cute photo op spot at the front with neon signage. The hookah prices are affordable, and you've got to try our favorite blend: watermelon, peach, and mint. Trust me, you'll love it! When it comes to food, the chicken kabob is a must-try. The consistency is key here--it never misses. The rice is fragrant and flavorful with a hint of spice from the herbs they use. The chicken kabob is juicy, and the salad is a nice touch for some green intake. Don't forget the sauce! Parking is plentiful, and it's just minutes away from Springfield Mall. It was like a bait and switch. The hookah was good. We tried skittles and it actually tasted like skittles. The food was ok but still off. The chicken kabob was more like chicken medallions and the lamb wrap was small. I was disappointed the food was served on chipped plates and utensils were plastic. I could just think of the micro plastics getting stirred in the hot tea I saw across the room. It you are looking for a relaxed hookah spot to get some work done, this may be your spot.

My shisha wasn't very good either as it wasn't the flavor I ordered and when I opened the foil up, the tobacco was packed extremely tightly (this is wrong). As Nicole mentioned, there used to be a lot of drugs dealt outside and a lot of unsavory characters around this place. I gather that it has gotten a little better, but I've still heard from nearby shop owners that there are still problems with the clientele who visit this far end of the shopping strip. Hit Fairouz a few doors down for a more adult and welcoming experience.

I came here to chill and have a hookah with no drinks. There was a random guy (who might be homeless) sitting next to me who ordered three drinks, and then offered me one of the drinks. I accepted the drink, laughingly, because he clearly offered it to me being drunk. However, at the end of the night, I was the charged for ALL THREE of the drinks that the guy bought. When I told the bartender that I did not buy ANY of the drinks, she told me that I did when I absolutely did not. The only thing I talked to her about was my hookah and to refill the coals on it. Paying for the drinks isn't a problem, but for me to be unnecessarily charged for something I did not purchase is not ok and disgusting for a business to do. I can't get with that kind of shady business from this establishment. To the bartender, do better and represent the damn business with integrity. Because what I experienced this evening was absolutely not that. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place anyone looking for a worthwhile hookah spot to visit.

I have always gone to Enat a couple miles down the road the past few years, but it was always unpredictable how it would be. Sometimes the food and service was fantastic, other times it was Ok, and last month it was awful...so last night when we were craving Ethiopian food, we decided to try Monarch. The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was amazing! The two of us ordered the vegetarian combo and I don't remember what meat/tibs because we asked the server which one she recommended and went with that. The food was definitely better than a couple other Ethiopian places I have been to in the area and the portion was generous! I almost thought we accidentally ordered a double portion of meat because it was a much bigger portion than I received from other places. I had leftovers for later that night and again today. The food was a little bit longer of a wait than I expected, but to me that just means they are making it from scratch and that it is fresh. The bill came to around $30 before tip which is quite a deal for that much food of great quality. The service was also very good with our server being friendly and attentive. Not only that, two other workers there...maybe the owner or chef (I'm not sure) dropped by to check on how we were and how the food was.
