The music selection is always on point, making it a great spot to chill. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating. You can lounge on velvet couches along the sides or sit at tables with chairs to the right. There's also a cute photo op spot at the front with neon signage. The hookah prices are affordable, and you've got to try our favorite blend: watermelon, peach, and mint. Trust me, you'll love it! When it comes to food, the chicken kabob is a must-try. The consistency is key here--it never misses. The rice is fragrant and flavorful with a hint of spice from the herbs they use. The chicken kabob is juicy, and the salad is a nice touch for some green intake. Don't forget the sauce! Parking is plentiful, and it's just minutes away from Springfield Mall. The vibes are always chill and welcoming. Hope you enjoy your time there

We tried skittles and it actually tasted like skittles. The food was ok but still off. The chicken kabob was more like chicken medallions and the lamb wrap was small. I was disappointed the food was served on chipped plates and utensils were plastic. I could just think of the micro plastics getting stirred in the hot tea I saw across the room. It you are looking for a relaxed hookah spot to get some work done, this may be your spot.

Oasis has better falafel and they give me plenty of tahini. The hookah at Aladdin is slightly better, but I feel like at Oasis they're more attentive to it. Usually there's more seating room at Aladdin though - and the chairs aren't quite as uncomfortable. edit: less than 24 hours later. So I found out Oasis closed. WHYYYYYYYYYYY. Now that I Have nothing to compare Aladdin to in Falls Church I'm going to bump it to 3 stars. Tears are rolling down my face.

It's dark and uninviting. The windows have what looks like packing paper over them to keep prying eyes and the sun out. It's like some sort of cheesy clubhouse or something. My shisha wasn't very good either as it wasn't the flavor I ordered and when I opened the foil up, the tobacco was packed extremely tightly (this is wrong). As Nicole mentioned, there used to be a lot of drugs dealt outside and a lot of unsavory characters around this place. I gather that it has gotten a little better, but I've still heard from nearby shop owners that there are still problems with the clientele who visit this far end of the shopping strip. Hit Fairouz a few doors down for a more adult and welcoming experience.

The tow company is allowed to tow because they are open and serving alcohol ILLEGALLY!!! And it's probably because I have MD tags because there were certainly other cars there, even my friends. When I showed up the next day to try to get this resolved, the manager by the name of "LuLu" even admitted it that they are open illegally! I tried speaking with her and the owner and they both said it. So, I'm going to resolve this legally thru ABC of VA, Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affair, etc! I have receipts from the alcohol sales and everything. They are not supposed to be open or serve alcohol after 2am!

I came here to chill and have a hookah with no drinks. There was a random guy (who might be homeless) sitting next to me who ordered three drinks, and then offered me one of the drinks. I accepted the drink, laughingly, because he clearly offered it to me being drunk. However, at the end of the night, I was the charged for ALL THREE of the drinks that the guy bought. When I told the bartender that I did not buy ANY of the drinks, she told me that I did when I absolutely did not. The only thing I talked to her about was my hookah and to refill the coals on it. Paying for the drinks isn't a problem, but for me to be unnecessarily charged for something I did not purchase is not ok and disgusting for a business to do. I can't get with that kind of shady business from this establishment. To the bartender, do better and represent the damn business with integrity. Because what I experienced this evening was absolutely not that. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place anyone looking for a worthwhile hookah spot to visit.

I have always gone to Enat a couple miles down the road the past few years, but it was always unpredictable how it would be. Sometimes the food and service was fantastic, other times it was Ok, and last month it was awful...so last night when we were craving Ethiopian food, we decided to try Monarch. The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was amazing! The two of us ordered the vegetarian combo and I don't remember what meat/tibs because we asked the server which one she recommended and went with that. The food was definitely better than a couple other Ethiopian places I have been to in the area and the portion was generous! I almost thought we accidentally ordered a double portion of meat because it was a much bigger portion than I received from other places. I had leftovers for later that night and again today. The food was a little bit longer of a wait than I expected, but to me that just means they are making it from scratch and that it is fresh. The bill came to around $30 before tip which is quite a deal for that much food of great quality. The service was also very good with our server being friendly and attentive. Not only that, two other workers there...maybe the owner or chef (I'm not sure) dropped by to check on how we were and how the food was. If they keep this up, watch out Enat and other Ethiopian places in the area. You have some competition from Monarch!

I could afford a longer lunch break today, I thought and glad I did. I ordered the vegetarian combo and was immediately impressed by the selection and flavor. I'm always a fan of the Misir Wot and loved their rendition of it. All of the different parts were great: the creamy kik alicha, the tangy gomen, and the refreshing tomato salad. The place proved solid and I would come again!
