We stopped by Haidilao for the first time on a random Wednesday dinner and my goodness the total adds up quickly. Just choosing our two broths started our tab at $35 without meats, vegetables, sides, etc. The price for each item was higher than I expected. The food though was great and I absolutely loved the Tom Yum broth. Additionally, the service was amazing -- they checked up on us frequently, removed plates quickly, and the person greeting you at the door was extremely welcoming even though we were in shorts and a tshirt since we didn't know this was a higher end hot pot restaurant. The staff are dressed formally and are very friendly. This would be a great place to dine at if you want a wonderful experience with great service.
My wife has been asking me for over a year to try this restaurant because of the famous League of Legends team, T1. Apparently, this is one of T1's favorite hot pot spots, so we finally decided to give it a try today. From the moment we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming service. The staff had aprons and hand towels ready for us, which was a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel very accommodating. As for the food, I think the soup base could use some improvement. In my opinion, it lacked depth and could benefit from more flavor. I also think an all-you-can-eat option would be a great addition to the menu, rather than offering only set combos and à la carte selections. Overall, the excellent hospitality made a great first impression, and with a few improvements to the food and menu options, I think the experience could be even better.
Had an excellent dining experience from start to finish. Very fun especially if you bring a toddler. They get a bunch of free stuff, including a kid's meal! Although they don't have AYCE (I went home hungry and ate another meal) you're essentially paying for their impeccable service, dancing noodles ($5), fresh ingredients, and a good time. Birthday people get a free slice of cheesecake!
NOMd: seriously tried so much but my favs were the spicy pork broth, sweet potato glass noodles and the beef skewers.... those beef skewers are a MUST. we literally got 6 orders which still wasn't enough. service, etc.: we went for a birthday and they really go all out here with the decor, photo opps and goodie bag. the dancing noodles are super fun and cute too and tasted so fresh and good. i wish they had at least one extra large table to accommodate larger parties though we were super crammed with the 9 of us.
Yay! Finally got to try Haidilao after SO long. I have always tried the instant hotpot kits and soup broth kits at home, it's nice to have finally gotten the chance to try it. Parking is very doable! It's located in a corner of a big plaza. Once you walk in, you are greeted by the friendly staff and seated immediately if available spots are open. It's pretty spacious inside, it never feels like you have to squeeze past tables. It's very well maintained, everything is clean and it looks so cute inside with little decor everywhere! They seem to have a lot of promos depending on the days you go, but mostly for lunchtime on weekdays I believe. The pricing can be a little steep for certain items but honestly i still think it's decently priced for the most part. You pay separately for the salad bar and the soup broths are charged individually. The order process is easy, you order off a tablet but the staff will guide you through ordering and everything on your first visit. The staff is super attentive so your table is always clean and they will go over special item orders and when to best enjoy them based on cooking times. Overall, if you head to Haidilao, you are heading in for a good time. The food is great, services is great, and the atmosphere is very comforting . A fun place to visit with a small group or even by yourself if you're hungry enough :)
Had a great experience at Haidilao! The food was delicious, and the hot pot broths were so flavorful. The service was also excellent--everyone was super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They also have great milk tea! Great food and amazing service. Definitely recommend!
The lunch combo was a great deal! For $27 you get protein, veggie or mushroom or tofu, side dish and carb, and soup base. Senior discount available at $20 for the same combo. You still have to pay $4 per person for the sauce / salad bar. You can opt out if you are okay eating without the sauces. Service has always been attentive at this place. You still get an apron but now it has changed to paper apron. Everything else is pretty much the same from when this place first opened its doors at the Fremont location. There is also a late night happy hour special where most dishes are 31% off. It's easy to overorder when there is a discount so watch out for that. So far Haidilao has been my favorite place for hot pot, and I cannot wait for more Haidilao in other Bay Area locations such as Serramonte.

Unfortunately, the air they have setup outdoors does not cool you down. Between the spicy soup and spicy sauce I ate, I was definitely feeling the heat. I recommend sitting indoors if you can get that reservation. Food was good and we had soju (order one at a time or it gets warm), we ordered rib eye, lamb, vegetables, and up to 4 different soups bases. The robot servers were cool and if you mention the secret phrases they do give you a freebie for the table not per person. Dessert was ube or vanilla ice cream. They sang happy birthday and we ordered the hand pulled noodles which came with a noodle dance show. They also sang happy birthday and gave the birthday girl a matcha cheesecake. It was fun and we all enjoyed the food.
We came here for an after work gathering, and everyone had a great time! The last time I visited this restaurant was probably back in 2023, so it was nice to be back. We had a reservation and were seated quickly upon arrival. We chose four different broth bases, and all of them were flavorful. We ordered plenty of food along with a few pitchers of beer. They offered a wide selection of meats and hot pot ingredients, so there was something for everyone in our group. We also got to enjoy the face changing mask performance and the noodle dance! Highly recommended!
Great food and service, but be prepared for a long wait. We were seated after an hour on the waitlist. The soups (tomato and spicy pork) were delicious and served quickly, however our hotpot food items took nearly 45 minutes to be served. We were so hungry and drank a lot of soup while waiting for our food. LOL The waiter told us their kitchen was too busy, he was sorry for the long wait and offer us dessert. We also had to remind them on a missing fish fillet. The staff apologized again and offered a $5 discount. At the end of the meal, we checked the bill and found out the $5 discount was not there and they charged us for open sauce fee which we didn't order, and there was another 15 minutes wait to get our bill corrected. Total dining time was 2.5 hours + 1 hour waitlist time, record breaking for us. Never had hotpot meal taking this long.

We also got a kids meal because we have a baby.

Thought that was a nice gesture for those people waiting for their table. We were seated right away and there was no line for a Friday night. Once we were seated, we were given a bib/apron, hair tie, snacks, and wet naps. Thought that was a nice touch. I use the restroom and they have complimentary mouthwash and feminine products. Thought that was nice too. My friends and I ordered four meat dishes and tripe initially, just to see how much we could eat. The meats were good. The tripe was okay. The soup was good. Ordered the pork bone broth. But sadly to say, after spending $130 (before tax and tip) on just those items, we were still hungry. We decided not to order anymore food and just go somewhere else to satisfy our hunger. I left disappointed. If you want to be entertained, then yes, they had this man in a mask dancing when we arrived. They also have a noodle dancing guy. They also celebrate birthdays.
Just went there today for a birthday. This place is over rated and over priced. I didn't appreciate the server telling us to leave in ten minutes because they had reservations coming in. Mediocre food, high price and rude service. I don't understand why people rave about this place, I'm certainly not coming back with so many other hot pot choices to choose from.

Came here around 11pm after a movie and waited about 5-10 minutes for a table for two. It was pretty packed and noisy inside, but we didn't mind. As always, loved the complimentary snacks while waiting. We got the pork bone broth and tom yum broth. Since we came during happy hour, we also did the BOGO Japanese wagyu and got instant noodles, wintermelon, fried bean curd, enoki mushrooms, and spinach. One thing to note is that the sauce bar is an extra $3.99 per person. With everything added up, it definitely gets pretty expensive for hot pot, especially for two people. read more

Hot Pot is always fun! And this is a lively ambiance and the service is really good. Warning: The Spicy broth has a LOT of chili oil floating on top. Make sure to stir it before serving as a member of my party took a big sip of the oil at first and it made her throat close up. The food is good yet the portions are small and the prices are very high. The bill was $200 for 4 people and we were all still bit hungry after. read more

The service was poor and I did not leave satisfied. Our drink didn't arrive until midway through our meal, and I'm baffled by the lack of service especially considering the restaurant uses a robot delivery system for extra assistance. Even after ordering about $130 worth of meats, sides, and a single drink for two people, we were both still hungry by the end of the meal.. The biggest issue was the value. For the price we paid, the quality and portions simply didn't justify the cost. One thing that they do well is the decor which seems tailored to families with young children. read more

We came here for a birthday and the service is really exceptional. Our server was really attentive and constantly made sure we were taken care of and even came out with some birthday goodies and had a dessert too. The ambience is nice and the space is very big. Now my honest review on the food, it's good, but severely overpriced, you really do pay for the service. I don't personally think it's significantly better quality wise to justify the price tag, imo , you might as well go to AYCE for the same price, actually for far less. Having to pay for sauce bar, and each soup base, it adds up quick. They do have some late night happy hour offers, but other than that, it doesn't really stand out. We enjoyed our time and experience here, but likely will stick with AYCE. read more
Came here with my partner for a late dinner. I'm talking "an hour before they close" type of dinner at 1am. The service was still great, they still delivers and makes us our food and drinks perfectly. I did get some disgruntled looks from employees as they clean the sauces at the end but that's alright, very understandable haha. Food is great, meat is fresh and delicious. I got fermented rice and lychee drink and not sure if i would order again, took me by surprise and i didn't like the fermented rice part. And also something about this location is that they never give you the free stuff if you say the phrase to them...maybe i'll try again for the 3rd time next time ;( read more

We always enjoy coming here. We enjoy all Haidilao but especially this location. Ming our server was very sweet and attentive! The food is so fresh and delicious. Pricey, and I would have given it just 4 stars if it's for the food alone and not for the Bian-Lian performance. We heard about their Bian-Lian (face-change) performance and called ahead to book a table for a time that it'll be performed (7:30-8pm). It did not disappoint. What an honor to be able to witness this amazing art, a secret tradition passed down for generations! The artist was smooth and entertaining, and even gave my parents in law a beautiful souvenir, which they appreciated very much! The food itself is wonderfully presented, and everything is fresh. The "salad bar" is very good and will fill you up by itself, with seaweed salads and pickled mushrooms and all the condiments you could think of (hello, chive pesto!) We come here whenever the hot pot cravings strike! There aren't any hot pot places closer to us so we make the 35+ minute drive. Today we came for a birthday celebration. We tried a soup base we haven't tried before (fish maw and chicken) and it was so good! I would definitely have it again in the future. Our server was Ming and she was so expedient. When she saw that I clumsily spilled my drink, she was there with napkins, a wet wipe, and a new drink. She honored my request to have a quiet birthday celebration and gave me a little gift. Haidilao usually is known for good service, but the wait and eating experience was horrible Saturday dinner at this Fremont branch. Waited an hour to get seated, another hour for mushrooms to come out, then meat, another hour for fish, after endless waiting we left at 10pm. They were understaffed and service took a while. The sauce bar was underwhelming, the fruits/snacks were not too exciting. We got complimentary brown sugar mochi for the wait (which we also had to wait longer for), they were warm and delicious. read more

We came for the lunch special . For two people We get to choose two meats out of 5 . We got Australia lamb shoulder , angus beef short plate ( fatty beef ) . Each person has a tray of vegetables, 2 beef balls , fish tofu and tofu square , white mushrooms, tofu noodles , 2 slices of spams , imitation crabs. Soup base is free with this $19.99 lunch special . We got chicken & pork belly in black pepper soup and pork bone broth . If you go for the all you can eat meal . You need to Pay $13- $18 per person for the soup broth . But you can reorder more protein from 5 choices including seafood . The salad , dessert, snack , fruit and sauces station is $3.99 extra per person for the $19.99 lunch special . I enjoy their fruits like red rambutan . It is sweet and juicy . The spicy mushrooms salad and cold fish skin salad are very tasty and not seen in other hot pot restaurants. Excellent service . Their restroom has hand lotion after you wash your hands . Mouth wash on the wall , Q tip to fix your eye make up, and special cleanser inside each stall for toilet seat and toilet seat cover . You can get free paper containers to bring the remaining soup broth home . At the end the soup becomes very rich in flavor and tasty . They offer us some carbs ( rice or noodle ) and we both got one can of diet coke . We will return soon to try their all you can eat special. read more

The service and food were excellent at Haidilao! This was my first time here with a group of 5 people, so we made a reservation online 5-7 days prior for a birthday celebration. We ordered 4 soup broths and combination of meats & vegetable mixes. The price is definitely worth it in my opinion because of the experience and quality food. We also got the hand-pulled noodles, where they asked us to request a song and included an entertaining dance. Everyone here is welcoming. They also have free soft serve, snacks, and fruits. Our server, Irene, was extremely nice and accommodating to our orders and requests. We had some rain leaking to our table from the outside, but the staff made sure we stayed dry and were comfortable. Irene also offered to take a picture for us and sing happy birthday, which was really sweet. She went above and beyond. Thank you! read more

Is the lunch special still on?
It wasn't at this location when we went last month, huge bummer. They still have it at the Cupertino location though. I wish they would bring back the lunch special in Fremont too! 🤞🏼

Does this location sell alcohol or is it byob?
Yes they have a variety of wines, beers etc
How do we know if they'll have dancing noodles or not? One time they did; one time they didn't. (Both were in last couple months.)
They don't dance noodle on Wednesday, also on rest of day between 3：00pm~5: 30pm, no dance noodle too.
