First, my salesperson, Donovan, was very friendly when we made the purchase. He assured us that the oven was in stock day we purchased and set an install date for a week and a half after date of purchase for March 10. When that day came, no one showed up. I called the store, only to find out that there was no record of my sale in their system at all! I had just spent $2,000 with them, and they had no idea who I was or what I bought. Donovan got on the phone with my husband same day and tried to blame the delay on snow (which didn't make sense because the snow was gone a whole week before we made this purchase), claiming the oven was out of stock (even though he had told us it was available when we purchased it), and claiming he never set a install date with us originally so he's not sure why we thought that. Even though I have paperwork that reflects an install date of March 10. We agreed to reschedule for March 20, which meant I had to cancel plans with family on March 10, as I was depending on the oven to cook for them that evening!!! When I called again on March 19 to confirm the install for the next day, I was told AGAIN I wasn't even scheduled for it! The person I spoke to transferred me to Donovan, who initially said I was scheduled but then realized I wasn't. He left me on hold for over 15 minutes, and when someone else answered, they didn't even know who I was waiting for. It felt like Donovan was deliberately avoiding helping me!!! Finally, I spoke with a manager named Britt, who apologized but didn't seem shocked at all by the poor treatment I had received. At this point, I expected something like a free or discounted install as compensation for all the trouble, but no such offer was made. In fact i was questioned if i was telling the truth. I even had to provide proof of my original install date/sale paper work...which Donovan had completely messed up, and when I did, the manager seemed shocked that I was telling the truth! I am extremely disappointed in Hahn's Appliances and Donovan's lack of professionalism. I feel like I was the one doing all the work to fix their mistakes, and no real effort was made to make things right.

You have to ask for assistance they don't just offer to help you. This isn't a place where you can take the product you want up front and order it. A little assistance would be appreciated. They have good pricing and are one of the only stores that offer some of these outdoor kitchen items. Dan offered to help us and he tried the first time we went in and asked questions about an outdoor kitchen as well. He starts off with he is not the expert on outdoor kitchen appliances and basically just reads the signs to you. We picked out what we wanted and sat down to get an estimate with Dan. I questioned his numbers and he ensured me it was correct and I continued to question it and I was correct. He entered the wrong sku and if I wouldn't not have said a word we would have paid double for what we didn't even ask for. We asked about the grill coming with everything we need and he assured us it did. Well..... you guessed it, the hose that connects the grill to the natural gas spicket that was already built in to the home does not come with the grill. I called Metro Appliance back and spoke with the expert who had to call the Blaze rep and call me back and was not giving me the correct information for what I was asking. I called Blaze myself to get the answers I need. Metro Appliance does not sell what you need to go with the grill so I ordered it off of Amazon for the win and it will be here in a day. If I never have to walk in this store again I would be a very happy camper. The attitude you get from the gentleman sitting at the desks when you first walk in and the lack of effort or interest to assist is unacceptable.

Will is a good communicator and has an amazing array of skills which emanate from his Education and Experience. Preface: I live in a 47yr old home that is almost entirely original. When it comes to trades, I'm also a helicopter homeowner and generally a bit of a micromanager. Will replaced 3 light fixtures, a ceiling fan, a venthood, restored function-electricity to 2 outlets & one hardwired site, replaced front storm door, and added handle to said storm door. He answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns and made recommendations, ex: Response - wrapping because wires are brittle, need consider new wiring. No dilly dallying with Will. He stays on task and focused. I gave Will a very detailed list of tasks-items and he gave me a time estimate for completing them with the caveat that nothing unusual came up. That timeline was dead on. He is structured in his pricing-estimates. His pricing was very reasonable. I will most certainly use Will's skills (had to say it) repeatedly for this original 47yr old house.

Appliance Sale Was Easy, Everything After Was a Nightmare…read more My 78-year-old mother spent over $10,000 on a washer, dryer, refrigerator, oven, cooktop, and microwave from this store. Unfortunately, the experience after the sale was extremely disappointing and stressful. She lives outside the city limits and uses propane, not natural gas. The salesperson told her that all gas appliances come set up for natural gas and that she would simply need to hire a plumber to change the orifice for propane. That sounded straightforward--until it wasn't. On the first delivery day, only the washer and dryer arrived. The delivery crew shoved the appliances through the doorway, nearly damaging the door trim, dropped the washer, dryer, and pedestals in the laundry room, and left. This was shocking considering she paid over $400 for assembly and setup. My granddaughter and I managed to place the dryer on its pedestal, but the washer was so heavy we couldn't move it. We then began calling plumbers--every single one told us they do not change appliance orifices. HVAC companies told us the same thing. With the 14-day return window closing, on day 13 we finally found an appliance repair technician willing to do the work. Coincidentally, he said he performs this service for this store all the time, which makes it even more frustrating that no one at the store could provide a referral or guidance. To make matters worse, during installation we learned that the cooktop was also gas and also required an orifice change, something that was never clearly explained at the time of sale. The technician had to return a second day with metric tools and a helper to finish everything--including lifting the washer onto the pedestal. The final bill? $950 for two visits. My mother paid it because she had no choice--she needed functioning appliances. We went back to the store and spoke with the manager to express how unacceptable this experience was. Selling a 78-year-old customer appliances she could not use, providing no assistance, no referrals, and no clear explanation is terrible customer service. The only credit she received was for the installation. The salesperson seemed focused on commission, not the customer. Buying appliances here was easy. Getting them installed and usable was unnecessarily stressful and expensive. I would strongly caution anyone--especially elderly customers or those with propane--to ask very detailed questions and not expect help once the sale is complete.

We were told expressly by the sales manager that there were two options that would fit. We chose one of those options. See the image for what it looks like. For an over 2k purchase, you would think their sales folks would ensure that they consider the hinges and doors as part of the size of the refrigerator.
