Pros: clean well lit place with a variety of flooring to choose from. This is gonna be unpopular, but we've decided to go with luxury vinyl plank in a herringbone pattern. Don't worry, we're not ripping up hardwood floors or tile, it's laminate. I'll have to make an appointment to work with the design center to pick out exactly what we want in terms of kitchen counters, kitchen, backsplash, kitchen, tiles, and living room flooring. After at first having very good service from Floor and Decor we had problems on the back end. After purchasing my tile and supplies and before installation I fractured my back that required surgery. It took a little more time to install but we finally got it finished this week. My wife went to return the extra unopened supplies. She was told since it was past 90 days they would not accept the return. My wife then showed the receipt which clearly stated that returns after 90 days would be accepted but they would only payout in a store credit. Their comment was "well the receipts don't say that anymore" What a rocket scientist!!!! Who cares what the receipt says now, it only matters what it said at time of purchase. Shame on you Floor and Decor!!! read more

I am reposting this since floor and decor has decided to have it removed and not reach out to me instead. Solid business practices !! My past 2 visits have been absolute nightmares. Mind you I am just trying to buy flooring. My first purchase went well, made an order for the 2nd, came by to pick up the material, and they weren't able to fulfill my order. I was told they were out and it would be some time before they received more. I was supposed to receive a call about the material when it arrived. No one informed me I could pre purchase and have it reserved for when it arrives. Instead they said I had to pay extra to have it delivered. I decided to wait. 2 weeks later, no follow up whatsoever. When I call and ask for an update, no one is aware of my order and when I ask for the associate, I am told she put in her 2 week notice and doesn't care anymore. This is clearly an operational issue not an excuse. Long short short, there is a pallet of the flooring I'm looking for but I only was able to purchase 1/3 outright. When I finally got ahold of the manager Eric, he told me about the no interest 18 month option. I was worried about someone else buying buying rest of the flooring and me having to wait even longer to get more. He said if I came In and applied at the kiosk I would be approved immediately. So once again, I drove another hour and a half to your tulsa location as I live in the country. It takes me nearly 3 hours of driving each time I visit your location. Upon arrival, no one seemed to know more than the location of the kiosk. I filled out the app and it tells me I have to wait 10 days. When I asked to speak to a manager, they sent a guy named Chad. He had nothing more to say than there's nothing he could do to help. So I proceeded to leave. When I got online to call customer service, the number I called says that due to call capacity no one could help me then I was hung up on. I called the store again, asking for a manager, hoping that anyone besides Chad or Eric would be there. They gave me Shannon, she seemed pretty knowledgeable, but as I was already half way back home, really unable to help me further. She did mention that since I had just moved/changed addresses, that it could be the reason I have to wait 10 days. I was advised to come back and try with my old address. That's perfect, let's take another hit to my credit....... Shannon was the closest thing to helpful and I appreciate her knowledge. What I don't appreciate is the experiences I've had thus far, the time and money I have waisted on transportation to and from the store, and the inability to get any help in resolving this issue. I will be sharing my experience with every social media outlet in existence. I don't wish anyone else to go through what I have. It's unfortunate that this is the only way I can even notify the corporation......best of luck on yalls future endeavors as a company. We had a great experience at Floor and Decor in Tulsa. They are dealing like a lot of other places with shortages etc...we had found 3 wood floor that we liked but unfortunately they were either discontinued or out of stock. A design sale representative, Alexa, spent hours with us, bringing us water, helping us find an alternative, checked us out after hours still with a smile, so kind and helpful, making sure that everything was ordered. We already had a great experience in Kansas city but this young lady really worked hard and we are really thankful for all she did. Thank you! read more
