My grandparents spent roughly $9500.00 on wood floors and installation from Lumber Liquidators. The entire process has been a nightmare from the start. To begin, the project manager named Monica has been terrible to work with. The events that make her terrible to work with have been 1) Not keeping to the agreed upon installation dates and pushing my grandparents to not have any other choice but to rush their other contractors for the house (painting, appliance installation, trim work, etc.) Painting being the main thing that must be done before the floors can be installed. So my grandparents worked around the issue. 2) She lied about contractors being in the way of her team laying floors when my grandparents complained to the sales rep how the installers left their house after installation (how interference relates to installers leaving hand prints on freshly painted walls is beyond me). 3) The installers left 37(!) hand prints and various grease/glue spots/dings on freshly sprayed walls (we have pictures of every spot) and she refuses to take responsibility. 4) Her installers were supposed to be at the house at 8AM CST today (7.23.19) to finish laying quarter round. No phone call/text from Monica or the sales rep David Forrester (I'll get to you in a minute, David) to let my grandfather know that they will not be able to make it until 10:30 now. It took us texting her to get a response that "Oh well they can't make it until 10:30 now". Yes because we have nothing better to do than wait on you for two and a half hours, Monica. The way you've managed this project has been absolutely terrible. How you are still employed with this company is beyond me. I wouldn't want someone like yourself representing my company and treating my customers in the manner you've treated my grandparents. Customer service and project management is not your strong suit. For future reference, your guys would not need four days to finish one installation if they showed up on time daily and did not take 2 hour lunch breaks. Do your job and actually manage them properly and you might find your customer satisfaction actually turning positive. Now for David Forrester. David is a typical sales guy. He just wants you to sign on the dotted line and get your money. Once he has your money, there is no follow up or caring about the job as its being completed. Even though my grandparents paid Lumber Liquidators (David Forrester) for the installation of the floors, they are somehow not responsible for the installers they contract to do the work. Hmm, that doesn't seem quite right, David. When reaching out to David on the issue, his response was "that's between you and the installers". How is that so when you are responsible for paying the installers since we paid you? You have a duty to your customers to follow up on complaints and advocate for your customers. Hint: That's how you keep customers coming back to you. Responsibility within this company does not exist from the experience we have received. Passing the blame is what the individual in sales believes in and the project manager's word means absolutely nothing. She won't keep her word. Lumber Liquidators has lost a lot of respect from our family. I hope this review allows others to see what kind of regional representation the Tulsa location is providing. We ordered flooring and the box was really big for our car. Larek was so nice and really provided great customer service. He helped us breakdown the box and unload the flooring. He helped wrapped the flooring so it wouldn't damage our car or the flooring. It was nice to see Larek care about his customer and the at companies and employees still go out of their way to provide great customer service. Thank you! read more

Stay Away from this company!!! We spent $5,000 purchasing bamboo flooring at Lumber Liquidators recommendation for our home. After 3 visits and multiple phone calls, no one at the store warned of the effect of humidity on this type of flooring in our area. We prepaid their recommended installation "professional" in full before the start of installation. While on the job he threatened to walk off the job site if we did not pay $1200 in change orders then they did a terrible job. And never finished the work. Two weeks after installation the floor began to buckle. Now, LL won't stand behind their product even though it supposedly had a 35 year warranty. Now I am considering legal action. Do not shop here!!! Their product and customer service is the absolute worst! read more

The flooring began to buckle within 2 weeks!!! The 35 year warranty is a total fiction. Their installer did the work and the bamboo flooring was the store's recommendation for us. No one mentioned that it would have a problem with humidity, not the store on our multiple calls and visits and not their installer. We paid for the flooring and installation upfront as they required. Then the installer threatened to walk off the job day one if we didn't continue to pay him for multiple charges that eventually added up to over $1,200. We have contacted a lawyer and will pursue damages for the flooring and installation. Don't trust this company. read more

Our floor installation was completed today. We couldn't be happier. The crew was the hardest working crew we have ever had in our home. They took time with the details and it shows. There was a small issue with some accent pieces not shipping on time. Jose called the shipper and had it overnighted and spent half a day getting it perfect. We replaced our entire upstairs carpet. I would give them a zero star if possible. My mom purchased new wood floors from them and also paid for the installation. Well they contracted out the installation but provided all the installers all the materials including the glue. Well turns out they gave the installers the wrong glue and my mom's floors started warping/bowing and coming up shortly after installation and when my mom tried to get it fixed Lumber Liquidators said it was the installers fault and not theirs even though they hired them and provided all the materials and the installer said it was Lumber liquidators fault. My mom has been fighting with this company now for YEARS and now they say her warranty is expired so they aren't going to give her ANYTHING. They purposely dragged it out for this reason. All she asked was for the wood floors to be replaced or refunded and to recoup the price of the storage cube she had to rent during installation for the furniture. She didn't have money to replace the floors on her own while she waited so she's had to live with these crappy floors this whole time. Buyer beware! I wouldn't do business with this company at all but if you do buy wood floors from them definitely don't buy the installation! What a nightmare experience! read more

The installers from Carbonell could not have been better - hard-working, efficient, and skilled. They had a well thought out system and were minimally intrusive. I ordered flooring from this location and after some availability issues I called to see if I could go with something else cuz I couldn't wait for my original pick. I was told sure come pick something else. Boy am I glad it worked out like it did. I went back and with help from Bradley I was able to get flooring that I just adore!! He was professional in speaking and mannerisms. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products and after telling him my needs was able to help me narrow my choices quickly. Which is saying a lot cuz I spent WEEKS with family help picking the first one and all I had was Bradley to help me pick the replacement and was done in less than an hour. Even with a busy store he never acted rushed or impatient. Which I later found out he was swamped also unloading a semi truck shipment) I love the care he gave me and will refer anyone I know to this company and definitely this employee! :) BTW Bradley had my flooring ready to go the by next day!!!! I called the store because it's been 2 weeks and we haven't heard if our trim pieces had come in. I had to call today because my mother-in-law is about to pass away in Arkansas and if the trim pieces had come in I needed them to hold them for me until I got back. The lady told me they would hold them up to a week and then would send them back! "I'VE ALREADY PAID FOR THEM", I told her. She said she can "do 10 days, does that help?" I said I am leaving to go out of state. If she passes while I'm there it would be over a week before I got back. She said "I'll try to push it out as long as I can. If my manager has a problem with it I'll have him call you". WHAT PATHETIC SERVICE! NEVER AGAIN will I purchase anything or refer ANYONE to this company. DON'T SHOP HERE! Chose lumber Liquidators for a pre-finished floor for our master closets and a quick delivery for install. We told the staff that we wanted a stock item because of our construction timeline and we were told that the product we selected was in stock in Calif. and would arrive in 10 to 14 days for pick-up. On day 10 we called and were told that it had not arrived and to check back. Called on day 14 and was told that the order had not made it on the truck for that week that it should arrive on day 20 or 21. I asked if they had a bill of lading for the next shipment and they said no. On day 22 I called and was told that the product was not in stock in Calif. and they were looking elsewhere for the product and if they find it, it may arrive in 13 more days. Needless to say they should have known from day one if the item was in stock, certainly if they had checked at day 10. We would not recommend purchasing a product from here unless you have no schedule or you have verifiable proof that the product is in their possession. read more
