New management now. There's a decent 25 yard range I fired a shotgun at. I wanted to test slugs. Right now if you shoot their ammo and have a NJ FID card, range time is free. Works out to be a better deal than a lot places in NJ. Theres a wide variety of handguns and rifles. Ammo prices are fair. I Would go back. read more

Horrible prices, rude staff, and they are never open if I'm looking to go just to sight a gun in. The way the staff treats walk-ins makes it seem like they are the ones who invented the gun. One experience that made me stop going was when I went in, brought 2 of my 3 hand guns in, bought ammo for all 3 guns, forgot I left the 3rd gun in my truck, walked out, got the gun, and when I went back in the tool behind the counter tried to make me buy more ammo, and not use the ammo I just bought because I left the building. You could see my truck from the door. I will never recommend them to anyone. Wish I could give it less than 1 star. read more

I have been going to Hague's for about a year now with my best friend who has a membership. Each member is allowed to bring a guest each time he comes to shoot, so I have been coming under his membership with him while he comes with me to my outdoor range I am a member at. Hagues is a relatively new range so everything there is new and pretty nice. Their selection of guns varies throughout the year. Sometimes its diverse and sometimes not so much. The staff at Hagues is not personable like I have experienced at other gun ranges throughout Southern New Jersey. I have felt more comfortable and welcome, walking into a shoe store more than at Hagues. My most recent trip has caused me to never want to go back to the range ever again. My girlfriend came with myself and my friend and watched us shoot while we were there. Before we finished I let her fire 5 rounds, 2 from my rifle and 3 from my pistol. At the end of the day after we left, they charged my friend a $25 guest fee for my girlfriend who just sat there quietly for the last hour. The range was not crowded at all and only had 2 other members there while we shot. I was shocked so went back in to ask why we were charged and they said that for my girlfriend to be even inside the range they would have to charge us the $25 fee. I am not sure if that is in the rule policy for members or not, but I chalked it up as I should have known better or possibly asked ahead of time and civilly paid the fee. What I cant be OK with is that $25 is quite a heft fee to have someone just watch us shoot on a day it's not busy at all. We have spent a decent amount of money here on a handgun and ammunition in 1000 bulk purchases on several occasions, I just dont agree with the need to nickle and dime someone when your charging .72 per round of 5.56 to members with their member discount when 5.56 goes for .30-40 easily anywhere else. Anyways this wasnt the only thing that I was displeased with. As my girlfriend was leaving she was struggling to hold some targets we brought and had trouble pushing open the door. And my friend was on the inside as he heard the staff making fun of her struggling with the door and laughing at her. I wasn't told of this until we left, which really confirmed my decision to never come back to this range. I just wanted to share this experience and see if anyone else has had a similar experience. I pride Hagues on their clean facility but their customer service and expensive prices are not something I can recommend them for. I hope this helps anyone else out in the future. read more

TL;DR: Rude, Overpriced, Better Options Available within 30 minutes (Bob's Little Sport Shop) I've been to a handful of indoor gun ranges and this by far was my worst experience to date. The firearm's industry isn't known for it's great customer service and I get it: gun ranges and people who work in gun stores have to deal with a lot of crap (the ATF, stupid customers, etc). None the less, my short experience inside of Hague's was simply put unacceptable, it's not surprising that there were only two other cars in the parking lot on a Friday afternoon. Upon entering the facility (which granted does seem very nice, clean, and well organized) we were greeted (if you can call it greeted) by a gentlemen inquiring if we were interested in shooting. After we let him know our intentions he informed us that there policy was that we would have to purchase their ammunition to shoot on their range (despite bringing our own firearms). After a member of our group remarked about how strange that was, we were slapped with a smart/rude remark and then the guy at the counter walked away. I understand that you gun ranges are incredibly expensive, and so you've created a business model that makes it expensive for customers to shoot, but being rude is no way about getting people's money. If you're going to overcharge, then I expect to not be dealt with rudely. Perhaps this works for people who are new to the sport, or are ignorant of other superior options within 30 minutes, but it's not going to work for people who weren't born yesterday. None the less, your experience might be different than mine, but I would recommend skipping Hague's if you're interested in shooting in doors and just drive down to Bob's Little Sport Shop where the prices are FAR cheaper and the staff MUCH friendlier. Also it only takes one perusing through the Facebook reviews to see Hague's arguing with customers on a public forum (that should speak volumes to their professionalism in and of itself) read more

New Management !!! The other guys were dicks and ran the place into the ground. The new folks Glen is the owner and his staff are great!! Glen, Joe and Lisa be hind the counter and Heather and Kevin (RO) are great. Completely upgraded and lights out service and facilities. If you are going to shoot in South Jersey, you need to check this out. They have 14 lanes, great facilities and I have never run into a wait. You need to check it out. read more

This range is beyond pathetic. My father and I went in there. I have my FID and he has his and he is a current police officer and they charged him as a guest under my lane. No police discount. No common sense. Absurdly over priced ammo for no reason. A box of 50 rounds of 9mm was 25 bucks. But otherwise it's nice cause you can shoot handgun/AR//Shotgun. read more

Checked the website to confirm the policies and see that there is a banner that states - ALL non-member must buy their ammo to be able to shoot -- now that has to be the greediest, most anti-customer friendly policy I have seen to date at any range. Arrogant & uncooperative as a range and an FFL. Expensive with ZERO customer service. Used to have an annual membership, never bothered to contact us when we refused to renew for another $450 outrageously expensive year (they refuse to let you take your own brass, charge exorbitant guest fees, must buy their overpriced ammo for "free" rentals, nasty, self important, rude staff.) Mentioned to owner that nobody bothered to reach out to us when we didn't re-sign for another year & asked if he still thinks MY BRASS belongs to him. Mr Hague muttered as he walked away "if you don't like it, go shoot somewhere else." Went in to do an FFL transfer for an out of state firearm and charged me $98 upfront for FFL. Provided Nick all contact info for seller & asked him to text (man is hearing impaired & cannot be easily reached on normal phone.) Now, a week later, and NOTHING has been done. Called & asked Nick to send FFL info via 2 email addresses I gave him for the seller, using methods like scan or photo, but he refused because he didn't "like the way I spoke to him." Apparently, the paying customer always comes first here....first for the abuse, first for the arrogance, and first for the refusal to refund the ridiculously high FFL transfer fee. Asked Nick to send me a refund check, he refused. If I want my money back I'll have to come in person to his lovely place of business to get my refund. Stay away if you value your money, your self respect, and especially if you believe that good, sound, business transactions are ones in which there is a win-win situation based in common decency, and a fair amount of respect for the customer. Moved to NJ and Needed a place close by to teach my girlfriend how to shoot our handgun. The good- The store staff was very helpful and not condescending like some gun ranges can be. The range is well lit and a range officer is available if needed. All controls for the lanes worked .. the Bad- Omg this place is sooooooooo expensive!!! Lane fee + guest fee was more Than I pay for a full day at other ranges in Pa and De including ammo and a gun rental! I shoot a couple times a month and understand if I buy ammo at the range thats expensive but on top of everything else they charge you for it's obscene.. I can't even afford to go back here if I wanted too. Shame because the staff seemed cool and knowledgeable.. read more

No way to run a business. Be sure to call ahead to assure they have your ammo in stock because you can only shoot their highly priced ammo. I showed up today to shoot, they did not have my caliber, they had no idea when they would get it ["maybe after the 1st of the year"] and they would not let me shoot with my factory load ammo...even after I offered to sell it to them so they could sell it back to me. DUMB! It's worth the time to go to Shooters or Bob's. read more

Nice clean place and the people were nice to deal with. My main turnoff was the price. To shoot for 30 minutes or less was over $100. I typically pay around $40. There was a $25 non member fee which goes to show they don't want people walking in off the street like we did. read more

I started driving over to Philly rather than shoot there since Bob's range burned down. save your money, drive over the bridge to the fun ranges in Philly that let you shoot an AR...like the Gun Range! read more

OK, I'm new to owning and shooting any type of gun. When my permits came in, my husband and I did research on which hand gun to purchase and decided to look into Sig Sauer. After calling several places we came across Hague's and the price they were quoting sounded really good! The first time we went into the store we were greeted with respect and a smile. I told the salesman that I was interested in one of the guns that they had in stock but that since I had never owned a gun, I was also keeping my options open. He not only took his time in showing me the gun I was initially interested in, but brought out others for me to compare. Once I was pretty sure which model I wanted, he even let me try firing the gun in the shooting range to make absolutely sure that I was totally comfortable and happy with that model. I loved it!! My purchase experience with them was completely great. As far as the range is concerned... I will tell you the truth, they are much more expensive than other ranges in the area. The ammo is also more expensive. The range itself is comfortable and clean, and the lanes are nice and wide. I have never had to wait to get a lane here like I have at other ranges. Hague's is also open Saturday and Sunday which makes their hours of operation much more convenient for me. The staff is very helpful and respectful which I found refreshing after visiting one nearby range where I was called "babe" and "honey" by the staff. In conclusion, I would recommend making a purchase at Hague's as they are very helpful and priced competitively. As far as the range, I chose to get my membership here because of the respectful staff and the convenience but you can find places nearby for much less. read more

On February 13th I took my brother to their facility for his birthday. I had been to the gun range before and the last time I had come with a separate friend with a membership also w were provided withere eye and ear protection. I was lied to during my purchase and the employee there was only concerned about getting my money. After I paid the $400 for the year membership he then told me no they do not provide us with eye and ear protection and I would have to purchase that too. Then I requested a refund immediately after and he told me he could not do so and I would need to call back or come back on Monday and speak with Dan. My brother then called in on monday and spoke with "Dan Hague", since the membership is in his name, and they told him that they would be contacting me in the matter since I paid for this. Then I received a call from "Dan Hague" and he was very rude and arrogant over the phone with me. He told me he would not be providing us with the refund even though he knew the sales person mislead us and I told him we would not be using the membership. He told me if I wanted my money back I would need to contact my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and they gave him a call. Then account supervisor at Capital One said he was very rude to her also and told her not to call them back. I am still unresolved and can't believe someone who is in business can act like that and still be in business read more

I joined Hague's at the beginning of this year and could not be happier with my decision to do so. Beautiful facility with friendly and helpful professionals. I usually bring a guest as members can bring 1 guest with them for FREE. Very nice benefit to have. We always leave feeling very satisfied with our experience. read more

My daughter gave me a $120.00 gift card to this range. I did not realize that it expired in one year (a policy I think is against the law). It was my fault as it did say this on the gift card. I was one week past the date and asked if they could at least honor half of it, to which I was told no in a very nasty way. So basically my daughter just gave these crooks $120.00. The employees were so rude and arrogant as well. It's a shame because the next day I went to Little Bobs and purchased two guns valued around $3,000.00. I will NEVER patronize nor recommend this unprofessional and just downright not nice place of business. Sorry I had to give one star as Hague's deserves less. Disgraceful !! read more

Stopped in last Sunday to shoot a few rounds, I wanted to check out some new sights I installed on my rifle and had a few weeks left on a permit. The counter person asked if I had a NJ Firearms ID card, I showed them and they gave me the lane for FREE! All I had to do is buy a few boxes of 5.56. I was in and out of there and fired 60 rounds. I did what I wanted to do for around $40 bucks. I heard the cashier tell the guy before me, that he got 20% off of his ammo because he was a member. Once my business slows down after the spring, I will join up. It is the only place I can go if I am in a hurry to shoot my rifle or shotgun without a hassle. I found some nicely priced used handguns in one cabinet. Looks like a lot of their inventory is flying off the shelf because all the Sig Sauers in the cabinet were sold. They always had awesome Sig prices. Last year, I picked up a new stainless P226 for $400 cheaper than another shop had it for. Thanks ! read more

Unfriendly, arrogant, unwilling to help, unfair business practices. This place has made me and everyone else I personally know that has spent money there feel extremely uncomfortable. It's a shame because there are some good guys there that should be in charge but instead they have placed Nick as supervisor and this guy comes off as if he'd rather argue with you than help you. I pre- bought an AR 15 5 days before the rifles delivered were delivered to the store for $2000 because I was told by Nick that they were only getting 51 of them in and they would only be on the shelves for about 3 hours. 5 days later I went to claim the gun to find out that they lowered the price to $1200 because they got a larger order in than expected. They lowered the price before I picked the gun up so naturally I expected to be refunded the $800 difference. Nick, almost as if he was proud to tell me there wasn't anything he could do, boasted that the price was final. I then asked him if I could speak to Dan the owners son and he said "NOPE, you're dealing with me on this." So I emailed Dan and he politely explained to me their store policy, which I think is unfair and not a good way to keep customers, I mean lets face it guns are not a cheap hobby. So I'm out $800 and ill only shoot there occasionally because they're the only ones with an indoor range that you can shoot an ar15. Other than that I'd rather give up shooting than give them another dime. If you're not a member you have to buy their ammo to shoot and they gouge you on their prices. Do yourself a favor Hagues, get rid of Nick, put Dan in charge, and treat your customers like you value their business! Bob's on the other hand is AWESOME! A knowledgable, friendly and helpful staff! The absolute worst gun store/firing range ever. The atmosphere is very uncomfortable with the arrogance and pretentious douchery that the employees put forth. If your a first time gun buyer I recommend that you do NOT go here. If you lack knowledge in firearms they treat you like a child and down you for it. The prices are also out of hand. There are guns you can purchase elsewhere for literally hundreds less. The range is more than double than what every other range in the Jersey/Philly has. It may be a nice range but it's still overpriced. I came here with my dad and rented one handgun and brought one of my own, had to but their ammo and when all was said and done it cost me $225. I could have bought a cheap shotgun for that. The only upside at Hagues is that it's a nice facility and the gun selection is decent. So at the end of the day do more research into other stores so you don't end up here. I give a big shoutout to Bobs in glassboro NJ. They are awesome and family owned environment. read more
