The few reviews accusing this place of racism or discrimination are completely unfounded. I will…read moreconcede that Steve, the owner, is an acquired taste. He is brash, unforgiving, and filterless. He says what he means and means what he says. Bluntly put... he isn't for everyone, especially those with dainty feelings. All that said, Steve is a good man that runs a tight ship. He matches energy and will give what he gets. I have frequented his establishment many times, and he has always treated me and my guests with respect, but make no mistake....he doesn't give a #$%@ what you think. The range is small and welcoming, and Steve is willing to share expert advice. This place is no frills. That works for some people and not for others. Steve can be accused of being a lot of things... racist is definitely not one of them. Anyone who has spent any time at Pistol People will agree.

Walt, Bill, Ray, and a bunch of other guys were so brilliant and supportive. I was the only woman in my group and everyone treated me just like one of the guys. I got some individual mentoring from Ray who was extraordinarily patient with me. Thanks, Ray!! Thanks, Bill!
