They are friendly and knowledgeable and I find the prices fair for weapons and ammo. They also sell black powder which is very good for reenactors or black powder hunters. Some people have complained that there are lines and it can take a while-to be fair that means they are popular and have a lot of business. One of the tell-tale signs of a good place. Do you really want to go to some place other people don't trust?

Not the store - sales staff is good but my loyalty no longer belongs with that store. Shame too, they are less than a mile away and it's a running joke among shooters about how awful the place is. I've spent thousands at Target World on firearms, suppressors, gear, and range time. But the last several visits to the range were the same: rude staff, constant nitpicking, ridiculous rules they make up on the fly that has nothing to do with safety, and the general feeling that customers are purely an inconvenience. Recently, 12 family members in town, including kids 12-16. Wanting a fun & safe range day with ARs, an MP5, handguns, and suppressors, etc.. Target World was a hard no because I knew what the experience would be. I saw how they treated my last friend from out of town who had significant experience. Ridiculous. We went to Survival Trail, had an absolute blast, spent well over $500 that day on ammo and range fees. Worth every penny. I have a lot of money to spend and guns to buy. Target World won't see another dime of it - Honestly don't think they care either. All I ask in return for my patronage is a modicum of respect. *************** 2 weeks later: Just purchased a Sig Sauer MCX Rattler LT 300Blackout 6.75" SBR, A SIG Sauer SLH762-QD suppressor, Aimpoint Duty RDS MR optic, 5 Magpul 30rnd mags.. and of course, 500 subsonic 300 BLk rounds. No need to post amounts, if TW cares they can do the math how much they lost, - I'm still not done buying, and I will happily continue to drive out of my way to avoid TW and give my money to someone else.

Bunker Shop in Chalfont has some slightly better deals for lower end guns, but Clayton's almost always has specials or raffles and plenty of stock. There's a reason why they've been in business so long and if you try a few ranges in the suburbs you'll see why they're the most popular. Staff is always helpful and when they try to sell you on a new firearm they don't make it feel pushy, at least to me. I think their memberships may have gone up slightly since the last time I purchased one a few years ago, but it's still a great deal for a family plan.

I used to be a big fan of The Gun Range because of their friendly staff and their policy allowing outside ammo. As someone who buys in bulk from Cheaper Than Dirt, being able to bring my own rounds makes this hobby much more affordable. Unfortunately, my last visit with my son was a major disappointment: Shotgun Ammo Price Gouging: We brought a new Boss 25 to break in, only to be told we could no longer use outside shotgun ammo. They quoted me $48 for a box of 25 shells. For context, I buy 250 shells online for $86. That is a massive markup. Misleading Safety Claims: When I questioned the policy change, the manager claimed it was due to a fire caused by "faulty shotgun ammo" at another range. I looked this up while waiting; the fire she referenced was actually attributed to faulty air filtration, not ammo. Poor Customer Service: We bought two targets but only ended up using one. When I tried to return the unused, unrolled target, I was told it was "unreturnable" because it was rolled up--despite the fact that the clerk was the one who rolled it when selling it to us. A private business has every right to change its policies, but they should be honest about it. Don't hide behind safety excuses to justify inflated prices. They've lost my business and my trust.

He had the perfect personality for his job. I felt bad, my daughters car is tiny and the a.c. wasn't working but no one seemed to be bothered by the high temps, loud acceleration of the 1995 vehicle or the tiny seats. They have a different guy do the actual test and he was great too. He made my 16 year old feel comfortable and ease her nerves a bit. I will recommend this facility to all my friends...it was worth every penny i spent. Thank you all.
