I've tried several dishes - pollo fundido, street tacos, Verde enchiladas - and they were all good. The birria tacos are my favorite. I don't think they're on the menu, but if you ask for them, they'll bring them. The margaritas are just right. The atmosphere is cool and the service is fantastic. Whether you're local, or just passing through, I highly recommend El Tejocole if you're in the mood for South of the Border flavors.

The the waitress came to take our drink order no smile no greeting, just a smirk, and asks us very quietly to were we can hardly hear her what would we like to drink, she then brings us 2 of our 4 drinks and awhile later she brought the other 2, then we asked for salt, and we order, we noticed the people that arrived after us got thier meal and were almost done before we got 3 of the 4 plates that we ordered, we begged for our utensils that we didn't have, begged again for salt, before it was retrived, almost everyone at our table was done with thier meals before my cold plate of food arrived the cheese was so cold it came out of my chili relano like a white cold tongue I showed it to the other waiter his first response was to defend this cold meal and say the cheese is "fresh" Ok but the cheese is not melted and everything is cold, so I told him to take it, then he asked if I wanted a replacement I said no. This place is awful it was also my son's birthday and my husband asked if they could sing and of course that never happened. I should have left after the chips we rudely put on the table. I also have seen others comment about the rude attitudes from employees at this Restaurant on other reviews for over a year back, so this place has no intentions of creating a better place to eat they just want your money, and obviously dont care about customer service at all. As a buissness owner I will make sure to spread the word about all the wonderful other places that are in our area to eat but this will not be one of them.

The inside has a pleasant enough ambiance and the service is friendly. I looked over the menu and went with a burrito. The burrito was decent enough. Nothing special, but it was decently priced I also noticed that they were advertising buy one, get one free margaritas. I think this is a big reason people head here. Overall, not bad and it was convenient while I was getting a tire repaired at Walmart. All things considered, I will give it four stars. The food itself probably rates three stars, but the service and price jacks it up one star.

It was just so cool. I would come back for the ambiance alone but the green salsa is also a huge pull. I LOVE this one specific salsa verde that's super spicy. I'm not sure if it's avocado or just jalapenos but this version was delicious. The horchata was just ok but the one we got that day was watered down. I really loved the Papa Grande. It was delicious though I'd probably just stick to chicken next time because that was the meat I liked the best of the mix. The steak was too inconsistent bite to bite for me to want to get it again but I did like the shrimp. Crunchy crispy without being too thick. Cheese dip. Better than el charro. Thicker. And much bigger bowl for same price. Why are restaurants to super cheap with cheese dip Serving sizes? It can't be that expensive. This place does cheese dip right. Service. Super amazing. As good as casa mexicana. And so much better than el charro. El Charro service has begin to suck. Margaritas so many flavors of frozen which is my favorite. Casa mexicana great reg margarita. El charro super mango margarita. This place great strawberry marg and cheaper than the others. Food. Husband had tacos beans and rice. Super average. Below quality of el charro. Me. I had the rice and grilled veggies and mushrooms. I have to say. Better than el charro. Would go back again. Primarily for service. And next chips and cheese dip. Next margaritas. And lastly food. No
