A Friday night at 6:15-6:30 pm Party of 10 so needless to say a captive audience with a potential for $300 + bill + tip. Service -2/10 Food- 2/10 Order Accuracy - 3/10 Something has happened at Casa. The normal P10 that we have ordered for 15+ years was absolutely the worst , very plain , hardly any chicken. Others in the group had incorrect orders and that took over an hour. The only positive with this visit was the margaritas, as they were good. Went to pay and the 3 clerks behind the cash register didn't say thank you , kiss my a$$ , appreciate the business/ nothing ! - just took the cash and never made any eye contact . They are always super friendly, service is always great and quick. The food is absolutely delicious and we've never had any issues. Pricing is reasonable and affordable for the amount of good food you revieve ontop of the service. The restaurant is very inviting and a nice place for the family. When eating in we always have our food in less than 10 minutes and even when ordering to go they always have the food ready in around 10 minutes. This place was the most convenient for takeout, as we are on the road with 4 dogs and were staying in a hotel within walking distance. What a pleasant surprise! The reviews were very mixed, so we were apprehensive, but hungry. Casa Mexicana did not disappoint. The chicken fajitas for 2 was delicious, and enough food for four. Ordered with everything, it comes with rice, beans, guacamole, and salad. We thought we had someone else's takeout order by mistake. Salsa was mild but passable. The chicken was tasty and tender. We had great service and the food was delicious. We were there after 8 PM with a closing time of 10. The chips were fresh, warm and cheese dip was authentic. My daughter requested a non menu al carte item and it was no problem. Food was delicious, just the way we ordered and service of our waiter was superb. One star only because it is necessary for posting! Last night my husband was there with fellow workers (from out of town). He said he had the worst service he has EVER had. The waiter dropped off their food and NEVER returned until he dropped off the check. My husband then asked for a refill on Sweet Tea and was told no because the machine was turned off. Totally ridiculous!! The waiter also wrote "gratuity not included" in bold RED lettering on check. Not sure why they were treated so poorly, but if it had been me, I wouldn't have left a single penny!! read more

We ordered through DoorDash. 1st time from Casa Mexicana and the food was amazing! Arrived piping hot and fresh. Big portions that wasn't just rice and beans. I ordered the Enchiladas Verde.. loved the chicken and cheese. Did not care for the spinach only because eww spinach. We also had the Enchiladas Mexicanas Hands down the potato one was mind blowing good! We had the floutas app and they were all wonderful. It was so good after the first bite I didn't even stop for a pic! I really liked the thin tortilla chips those were still warm and crisp too. The salsa was ok. Shrimp tacos were very good. 3 soft tacos with 4shrimp each with one very good salsa verde to top with, didn't come with sides u have to ask. Th chicken quesadilla- chicken was good and flavored no sides. The burrito deluxe husband said was very good- no sides. The prices are cheap but I u want sides you have to ask. We're driving through an was told to come here for the Rita's. Glad we did. It would have gotten 5stars if the hips and salsa had flavor and heat. While many restaurants all taste the same and serve the same products, Casa Mexicana seemed to be more authentic. The only area I would say they fell short would be on the margaritas as they had a large presence of mix and a little less alcohol than I would expect. I wanted Mexican and as a travel nurse new to town I had no idea where to go, saw this place and popped in. Glad I did, chips were amazing, salsa didn't really have any taste but tomatoes but the cheese sauce had a little kick to it and was really good. As I have said before, the Chips and Salsa are an introduction to a restaurant. Theirs did not displease. The Chips were light, crisp and fresh. Really, really good. The Salsa was perfect! Their menu is quite astounding to be exact. So many good quality dishes to choose from. They have the regular ones such as Speedy Gonzales, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and more. Then they have specialty dishes for all the likes. Also, they have chili rellenos, tortilla soup, and other appetizers\side dishes. I ordered the Steak a La Tampequnia. It was great! It came with rice, beans. The T-bone steak was seasoned and tasty. The rice was not too moist, just perfect. The refried beans were good as well. My husband had a lunch combination of ground beef taco and burrito all of which he was very pleased too. I ordered a chili rellenos. It came fried with cheese inside and covered in Ranchero sauce. Yummy! This is a must-eat when in the area. The restaurant is clean, inviting, staff friendly and efficient! Disappointing food. It was grossly undercooked. One should not need a steak knife to cut thru a (cooked) chili poblano. Argumentative and unfriendly staff and management, too. He said that the owner likes chili poblanos to be served this way...hmmmmm. Really, Martin, is this true? The chili was raw and the cheese inside wasn't even melted. This must be a new preference of the owner, because I have eaten this dish at this location for many years. It has always been very good, but the quality has gone downhill over the past few years. Tonight, I could not eat this raw pepper with hard cheese inside. Good thing I had chips, salsa and cheese dip or I would have left hungry. Of course, I still paid for my meal and left a tip. I'm not the type to do otherwise, and usually not the type to even complain. Every establishment has the occasional 'off' night. Excellent choice. I had the queso fundido, the chirizo was lean, no fat, and great taste! Cheese, onions, and bell peppers along with the cheese were cooked perfectly. I had the grilled chicken salad, my husband had the enchiladas, and the taste of the salsa was very authentic , the red salsa on the enchiladas was excellent. Chips are home made, and I asked for the spicy salsa (it comes with bland salsa which is fine but we prefer spicier taste). Compared to the other restaurant, we have to say this is authentic tasting.
