Im updating my review since visiting this location more frequently lately. Hmart has been STEPPING UP. The biggest location is in Ridgefield but I've noticed that even a smaller store such as this has been keeping up with stocking the latest items. I'm seeing snacks and ice creams updating with different flavors every two weeks! Consistently: Clean Spacious Interesting variety of drinks, snacks, ramen, etc Presliced and peeled veggies and fruits in ready to go containers Great customer service Don't knock this hmart just because its small! read more

Can't believe it's been a year since my last update! Moving my review up to four stars this time around. Hispanic cashiers are typically very pleasant. There can be some good sale prices to be had, although they are probably fewer than in the past, as in most places. Store us clean and well-stocked. A bit smaller H Mart compared to other H Mart. Perhaps because this location is more remote and less popular and frequent than other. Selection can be limited but carries some small different items than the other Hmarts. No bakery and drink stores inside. Just the grocery section. It has its own parking lot for customer and street parking as well. There are other stores nearby that cover bakery and drinks. So not much is missing. I'd say this place and location is alright, just alright read more

This Hmart (clean korean food market) is not bad in terms of quality of produce and seafood, accessibility, and crowds (doesn't feel cramped and claustrophobic). You can pretty much find all the Asian products (veggies and fruits, frozen products, candies and snacks, etc) that you need. Their seafood area always looks clean and you can pretty much find some type of reasonably priced fish. They even have lobster rolls. There's also a prepared foods area with sushi, dumplings, rice bowls, fried chicken, and seaweed salad. They have a rewards program that isn't that great but you might as well sign up to get a discount later. The cashiers are competent and quick. Parking is easy since there's a lot for the Plaza. read more

A mini Hmart you can go to for most things. It's just it feels like the prices are a bit higher than the big ones. But not by much. They still have the same sales I assume across all Hmarts. Less items overall but you still get what you need here. Free parking lot so don't park on the meters across the street. I love Hmarts in general. They also have a sushi station which is really good like the other Hmarts. But they don't have as much fresh packed Korean food here even if they have some side dishes (banchan). Make sure you sign up for their rewards program bc you will get free money back. read more

I shop at this market weekly, and although I do enjoy coming here, it disgusted me yesterday when I came to get hamburger meat and the meat was approximately 2 weeks expired. Mind you, yesterday was 05/01/25, and the meat's package shows 04/17/25. Advice is to really check dates on products in this store, especially in the frozen seafood section with items sitting there forever. To give the store some respect, the men at the seafood counter are great. What can I say about the ambiance of a supermarket??? It's a decent store. read more

This H Mart has some of your favorites since it's a large sized supermarket. Some items are a bit hard to find, and some help might be needed. I couldn't find one item that they had on the shelves the last time around. So, I'm not sure how they decide on what to keep stocking up on. I've heard a lot about H Mart Fresh -- an "Express" version of Hmart, so I was so happy and surprised to see one in New Jersey. As a huge fanatic of Hmart, I knew I needed to stop by. The Hmart is really an express version -- it's very small, but it has everything you need. It feels almost like a neighborhood market and a convenience store. There is only one cash register so if it gets busy, there may be a line. Though the store itself is compact, it has everything you pretty much need. I bought a little snack here and the cashier was really friendly and nice. I know the headquarter of Hmart is in NJ, but I'd love to see one of these in ATL as it's small, but it gets the job done! Note that this is an *H Mart Fresh* instead of a super huge full size supermarket. I was still able to get everything I was looking for including a bunch of very well-priced fresh vegetables! I like coming to this location because there's a Mochinut next door and a bbq Chicken across the street. You can get veggies, meat, seafood, etc here even though it is smaller than a regular H Mart. I think the key difference is the checkout is only one line, and there's always a line although it does move pretty efficiently. read more

The store closed early. It was closing at 9pm instead of 11pm. On the door it said that operating hours were until 11pm. I paid the meter and everything - only to get thrown out and asked to leave at 8:55pm. The store was significantly smaller than any H Matt I had ever been to. I did see a lot of essentials and pantry Asian staples that I would have loved to purchase. The smell of the seafood section was very strong and I never experienced this at an HMart before. They had a variety of beauty scrubbing Korean mitts that really stood out and I will come back for there but I didn't have enough time to shop. Small fresh fruit section but I was happy to not see everything wrapped in plastic. I always cringe when I see this. $15.99 for toilet paper. Hello kitty toilet paper. read more

Ah. The good ole Korean market that has gone from "Chang's Market" in the early 90s to H-Mart Fresh and still going on strong. COME HERE FOR: Fresh seafood (they have a whole bar of it, with specials), good quality produce, and some western/asian beers and spirits. Do NOT come here for: Korean packaged foods, wide variety of (K-snacks, banchans, western sauces, butcher shop (used to have but now they just have limited but good selection of Asian cuts of meat + marinated k-bbq), and any other western-market packaged goods Basically, you come here for fresh seafood and produce, plus some basic Korean items like rice, but because this is a small place, you will not find many varieties here, for example, if you are looking for a special kind of gochujang or Korean snacks. I miss their awesome butcher shop that used to give great deals on black pig pork belly et al., but they still have limited quantities of good sliced meat at the corner. I also like how they have decent selection of both Korean and Japanese beers, along with Korean hard liquors and other western beers. Their banchan selection is very limited and so is their kimchi selection so for those I'd recommend the full-fledged H-Mart across the town. Fort Lee H-Mart Fresh is a great local quick-hit Korean grocery store that specializes on fresh goods (thus the name, duh :P ) that is here to stay for many years to come. read more

Small little HMart Fresh with some small sections of produce, fruit, dry and canned goods, and I picked up some cut fruit here an promptly had to return... was expired and fermenting in the container. At least the return was simple. Three registers and small parking lot to the side. They also have some pre-cooked food and a section for beer. read more

After visiting Mochinut I saw we were next to Haney and had to go in. It was somewhat wider in the aisles than the one I was used to in Manhattan. As usual a great selection of fresh produce, kimchi, Asian goodies, and a beautiful fish department. Small selection of wine, beer, sake, and soju but decent. Ample parking in the lot. To be exact, this place is more of 3.5 stars. This H-Mart location is under 'H-mart fresh' as it is a smaller H-Mart compared to other giant markets around. Has a small private parking lot and additional metered parking just off the street which makes it much convenient. Easy access to grab fresh fruits and veggies, seafoods as well as liquor including beer, wine and minimal selection of scotch and whiskey. Due to location being smaller, selection of items can be limited but for the most part, produce and goods are fresh. There's also a small selection of pre-made food such as 'ban-chan' ( small side dishes ) and soups. Seafood dept carries live flounders, abalone and lobsters and they are happy to clean it for you accordingly to your order. Being able to pick up beer, soju or even a bottle of wine on the go from the market is always a plus! read more

I stopped in for a quick walk through with a friend during a neighborhood walk. Although it is in a small space, they did an amazing job cramming every nook and cranny with groceries. Not only that, but everything is pretty easy to locate despite the cramped situation. I don't think I have ever not found something stocked that I was looking for whenever I drop by. That's kind of amazing considering the square footage now that I think about it. I always find their produce super fresh (hence the name Hmart Fresh). I like picking up veggies and fruits here when I feel like I should eat healthy after a brisk walk. I also like their assortment of home goods. Today I picked up a pair of rubber gloves for the kitchen in a chic shade of grey. Can't find that at Walmart! It is kept very clean and they also have a selection of prepared foods if you are ever needing a quick no fuss bite to eat on the go. If I lived closer, I would most likely do all of my shopping there and hardly end up trekking to the larger Hmart or Shoprite. I love Hmart in general. They carry a high quality selection of goods. Also, if you are a huge snacker, nothing beats the dankness of Korean snacks. You will not be disappointed and you might never look back at a Lays chip again (don't kill me Lays diehards). read more

This store has amazingly fresh fish for a very good price. I come here for fish all the time. They always have fresh clams including the clam meat and scallops. They do a great job cleaning and filleting. Also the meat is very very good quality and the price per pound is wonderful. The vegetables are good quality but they are not priced well. I find them to be very expensive. The same with the Canned goods and staples like milk and eggs. I would save this place for the meat and fish. This place has a liquor license so they sell liquor. And for a small place it has a very good selection of beer and wine. It's very convenient to be able to pick up a bottle with the food last minute. read more

I like this H Mart.. while it is much like my local H Marts back in VA, what is nice about this one is that it is not overly crowded and you can actually get successfully through the halls without bumping into a bunch of people! Even with people there, there is enough room in the aisles to navigate your cart around others. To me, this is by far the most unpleasant aspect of a visit to H Mart, so I was quite pleased with the emptiness and space of this place. Of course there are the usual H Mart staples that are difficult to find in other places - quite cheap produce, seaweed, nice frozen Asian stuff and lots of seafood options including sashimi grade fish! They also had ample free samples out despite the fact that it wasn't that crowded, though needed to put out more fruit. As we were leaving this place last weekend, a cop leaped out from a hiding spot in the parking lot and went sprinting into the H Mart! I wish we had stayed to see what was happening, but were already in the car. I love H Mart and found this place to be very nice. read more

First of all I want to give this store 0 star, Manager or owner there, horrible & nasty manner. One day I was going to buy blueberry that was placed price tag as $3.99/pack. When I was at the counter to pay,, the cashier scan the item and it came up as $5.99. I told cashier what I saw, this item is $3.99, she double checked the item over the fruit corner, and she scanned that again it still came up $5.99. She called the manager or owner whoever this bitch is, and you know what she first told me? "You need to check the brand name of the blueberry vs price tag, this is $5.99 not $3.99" WTF?? She basically told me its my fault. But, Before you said that to your customer, dont you need to admit your mistake first that you did not put the correct price tag and get rid of $3.99? So customer dont get confused? So I told that stupid bitch, how many customer will compare and match the brand name and price tag while they are busy with grocery shopping for their dinner time? Plus there was only one brand blueberry in fruit section and only one price tag attached $3.99 under it. Are you fucking kidding me? She never apologized she kept repeat that its my responsibility to match the brand name vs price and told me she cannot sell this in $3.99. Lol she totally doesn't get my point, she thought that I didn't want to pay fucking $2 more dollars to buy that blueberry. I could not stand with that bitch so I jst walked out. I will never step foot in this H-mart location again. I tried to ignore the fact that it always appears dingy and dirty, simply because the location was in walking distance to where I lived. What I cannot and will not tolerate is how RUDE, RACIST and DISCRIMINATORY the old ladies are behind the counter. They always have miserable scowls on their faces, and they treat you disrespectfully if you are not Korean. Yesterday, I was standing in line for some time with about 6 things in my basket. When I finally reached the front the women at the counter told me to go to the cashier to the right because I had champagne in my basket. I thought that was odd because I had paid for alcohol at that cashier booth before. None the less, I moved over. The woman was finishing packing up, her customer paying, and my basket was getting heavy, so I attempted to place it on the free space on the counter. The vile cashier snapped at me, ONE MINUTE! Taken aback, I paused. Then she said you can't cut the line. I went on to say,"I was standing in line." The cashier who originally told me to move over turned to look. AND SAID NOTHING. The cashier then waived a Korean family over who must have been at least two to three people BEHIND me in line and had a whole slew of groceries....I continued to say "I WAS WAITING IN LINE" She then snapped again completely ignoring me, ONE MINUTE. She turned to the cashier who ushered me to the right and said something to her in Korean. She proceeded to ring up all of this Korean families groceries while I stood there astounded with my 6 items. The cashier who ushered me to the right knew that I was waiting in line and she NEVER DID THE RIGHT THING. I have had IT. JUST BECAUSE I AM NOT KOREAN DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO DISMISS ME. Utterly disgusted by your ignorance, your miserable scowls, and your blatant DISRESPECT. I will gladly drive across town to the H-Mart in Linwood Plaza that is always clean.
