The HEB near my home is rather small so I have been visiting other HEBs in search of things I can't get at my usual location. I found plenty...actually more than I needed to, truth be told. I always shop here since it's my neighborly H-E-B I just moved to the area. but every single time I come here I don't have the best experience from the formal employees. none of the employees are representing Great customer service For instance I went to the business center to cash my check as "Tiffany" was taking care of a customer before me I seeing the first ration with the customer and Tiffany the customer is only trying to return an item Tiffany made it unusually difficult for her to call the manager but she ended up getting her return when I walked up next I smiled and asked her how she was doing she did not smile and return she just hadn't had a tiered felt like she just had navigate with every customer I actually had a question and I just seem like I felt I shouldn't ask a question but it's not just this one employee all the employees are not attentive they don't greet me I just don't have the best experience of the storm it's good place to get what you need and get out. read more

By far, my favorite HEB to shop at.... just don't make the mistake of going there on a weekday late afternoon/early evening.

Went here today for chicken salad and free pita chips for dinner. Was very disappointed. Had huge chunks of chicken and only celery and mayo. Chicken salad is suppose to be spreadable for bread,pita chips etc. Also suppose to have pickles and eggs. It was awful. Not spreadable and not good. Also usually get my dogs teeth gel at heb. They don't carry it like all other hebs do. Going back to heb on 620 and the one on McNeill. read more

This location never had enough help!!! The parking lot has a smell b/c the grass they and i asked for helped out to the car once and it took forever and the girl was not at all happy about it Today's January 12 and I needed to update my review again I have to come to this location because it is close to the house so I only come based on location only yet again they yet to surprise me with disappointment. I'm cashing out with the baby in my arms and I get less but friendly service at the checkout center. I would highly suggest to the management to coach all cashiers on how to be user-friendly towards family oriented people. I'm assuming this location deals with high traffic of business oriented people only due to the fact they are right across the street from Dell campuses. Therefore leaving the cashiers not familiar with how to handle family oriented people. However I will give credit to a lady who I assume was in the stocking area who did offer a basket and was quite friendly and offering services to me. read more

This HEB is really clean and has a ton of options. This HEB also has a really good flower selection. I usually get flowers for $4 that last 1 to 2 weeks because they are so fresh. There's a pharmacy here and red box machines. read more

I've been meaning to review this HEB for a long time. By far this store is the best grocery store...ever! We are about to move to the other side of Round Rock and I intend on continuing to shop at this store exclusively. I prepare all of our meals with fresh foods, down to cooking our own soups, so I have to shop usually 2 to 3 times a week for the perishables. The produce team, sushi, bakery team, deli, fish mongers, grocery manager...all top notch. Here are some examples: 1. We special ordered 48 cupcakes in very specific colors for our daughter's 1 year birthday party. I dropped a couple packs in the parking lot and rushed back in where they immediately mixed up some airbrush colors and made me two dozen new cupcakes, free of charge. 2. The fish mongers do all sorts of special cuts for us. 3. The deli staff remember what I like and joke with me when I order the horseradish cheddar, which one of the deli guys doesn't like. 4. The produce manager has gone back with a piece of fruit to wash it, put gloves on, and cut a piece of it for my toddler to try. 5. One of the manager's bought my child a balloon while we shopped. Yes, the parking lot is always full...no big deal. I'm always able to find a spot with a 1.5 year old kid in tow...not a big deal. We don't even go to Central Market or Whole Foods for anything anymore. I have asked the managers at this store to get me something special and they have ordered it everytime, and fast! This store is right across from #Dell Computers! Lunchtime must start around 11am for Dell employees because this #H.E.B gets hammered and literally doesn't calm down till after 7:30pm. So plan to grab groceries before 11am or around 8pm! read more

Convenient because it is close to work and far better layout and better size than the HEB by my home so I always stop here on my way home. the only bad thing, they are ALWAYS out of stock of something on the things I need and I go in 2-3 times a week. I don't see this problem at other HEB stores I frequent, which I usually have to because this HEB is always out of stock on 1 or 2 items I need on any given trip. I understand the point of keeping a low overhead but c'mon Managers, lets keep the higher moving items stocked regularly, k? This is a great store with lots of people and staff walking around and helping you find things.Stocking the shelves, and the deli and meat department along with the seafood department are beyond belief. They are very kind and helpful and make sure to go above and beyond what they are required to do. The only complaint that I do have is in the checking department when you go to check out in this area there are never enough checkers it doesn't matter what time I have come in, day, midday, night, late night there are never enough checkers to accommodate the traffic that is in this facility. Self checkout seems to be open most of the time with a sort of short line but I feel that I am paying for my groceries and want to be checked out by a checker and not check out myself.This may just be a personal opinion but I am paying y'all to check out my groceries so go ahead and turn my light on I'm ready to work. If I go through self checkout they still need more checkers they never have enough to check out and meet the demand in this store... Other than that the facility is a very nice with their allegiant to central market they have a lot of fresh ingredients, fresh products and amazing staff I say that they need more to check you out that is my chief and only complaint, the rest of the store is clean dependable and more than willing to help you. read more

Whom ever is in charge of ordering sale items at this store fails miserably. My husband worked in this business for many years. When you are having a popular item on your sale papers,why would you NOT order extra flats of those items? I went to this store not once but 4 times trying to purchase this item. Never was it on the shelf. Today was trip number 5,thinking it's Monday surely they have had a truck come in. Not, the shelf was EMPTY again. Had to buy the smaller size that was more than the larger size on sale. Had to get them to give me a rain check. Don't put things on sale if you are not willing to purchase enough for the week. They lost a lot of money. Maybe that's the scam,another version of bait and switch. They managed to get me in the store five times. But I went for that one item. So at least I didn't waste money buying things I really don't need. Hey person who stocks for sale items,buy extra flats .It's not anything that is perishable.Far from rocket science. Gluten-free options were very limited compared to other HEB locations around the state. I asked two employees (one that worked in the bakery) where the gluten-free bread was and neither knew what I was even talking about. I then saw a manager and asked her. She knew that there was one variety of gluten-free bread but excused the employees by saying that most of the employees know where the gluten-free bread is. I told her that someone in the bakery did not even know. How many employees was I supposed to ask before concluding that the employees don't know? This manager wasn't even friendly and seemed defensive. She was a youngish woman with medium length straight reddish hair, as I recall. read more

Since I'm from the DFW part of Texas, I don;t get to experience what the rest of Texas has in terms of grocery store greatness. That is H.E.B. The staff is friendly. The stores have a great layout and this is one of the few places I actually don't mind buying the store brand, especially the Salsa. Whenever I do go down to Central or South Texas, I am sure to get all my grocery store needs at H.E.B. and this store is no exception to great quality. read more

Moved to Austin less than a year ago. H.E.B. is by far the best grocery chain I have ever experienced. No "tracking card" required for sales. Constant coupons available in the aisles next to the product. Fresh tortillas! read more

Been going here for years. -Recently expanded hippie section. Bins, supplements, "natural" foods. -Decent wine selection. Includes a few dirt cheap put very drinkable varities -Staff has been friendly. The produce manger rushed in getting fresh salad from the back that was out of stock on the shelves. -Less expensive than the nearest Walmart or Target while providing vastly superior selection and often quality. read more

Since moving back to Austin HEB is the only grocery store I shop at. I noticed the grocery items they carry are different depending what part of the city you live in. This one is really nice, always clean and Carrys a bunch of heathy style food. They have a very small selection on junk food, as far as cookies etc. Which is fine for me. Don't go grocery shopping after the 5pm rush Monday-Friday because they shelf become empty because of the rush. If you beat the rush you have the best selection. I grocery shop there at least 3-5 times a week. I only buy a little bit at a time being that I am only cooking for myself. I also enjoy the scenery read more

My favorite HEB . I alway find fresh food and is much bigger than the parmer location. I used to shop there but then I decided to do it at louis henna blvd. I can come any time, they are open until 1am, which gives me more time to shop. I just love the place. read more

I typically drive right past this HEB and go to HEB located on Gattis School & Red Bud. My biggest issues with this store is that the fruits & veggies always go bad within a few days. Our bag of carrots went mushy by day 3, grapes were rotten, and the bread went moldy within a few days. The fruits and veggies are stored in a fridge and this is the only HEB I've had issue with over the last year. I prefer the smaller store where the stock maybe low but everything gets restocked quicker. read more

If you can, choose a different HEB. This is the most unprofessionally staffed and poorly stocked HEB I have ever been to. Don't ask a produce employee for any help with anything because you aren't important to them. They will not move their crates to help you get an item, they will not check the back for something out of stock. The produce always looks like someone went to a regular HEB, got all the messed up nasty expired produce and stocked this HEB with all of the rejects. The employees in the deli are not only rude but incredibly slow and mess up your order majority of the time. Wrong brand, wrong product, wrong slice. I work in the customer service industry, the medical field, and have worked in food. I know these people have it hard but most people do and that's not an excuse to me, especially if the customer is nice to you. The produce guys are even worse in the sense that they are SUPER annoyed with you from the moment you walk in the door. One guy seems to have a disability and I always take that in to consideration but he is the rudest one out of everyone. I understand that as customers you don't know us and we don't know you, but I shouldn't leave the grocery store feeling this way because of how a PAID employee treated me. read more

I asked for paper bags and the guy bagging my groceries have me the long glare, rolled his eyes, and proceeded to very slowly bag while having conversations with the female checker. In the parking lot, the employee rounding up carts was walking verrryyy slowly with a major tude smirking at customers who had to wait. They need some older, more mature employees! Last several months when ever it's time to call in my prescription. I usually use the automated system. I will go pick up and either be told Dr never renewed but now true Dr even sent me the fax he sent to HEB. Another time was told it's not time yet and they had to count the days to make sure it was correct but once again they were wrong and called me back within five minutes to come back after sending me away. Yes called 2 days in advance for a refill same medication than told its not in stock would be five days well this Medication is required daily. If Lisa doesn't like her job working with the public go stock the shelves at night so you won't be bothered with human contact also can be said for older lady Pharmacy who is rude and nasty also no people skills. No one is trying to steal any medication that is not used to get high but to keep you from acquiring a disease that can kill you. read more

I bought flowers Friday morning and at 5 am Sunday they are already wilted. Once before I complained to the manager that all their flowers were wilting. He just smiled. I asked why other HEBs were not like this and he didn't know. They need to close their flower shop, because the flowers are a rip off. Never ever buy flowers there. read more

This store is hit or miss. Most of the employees are nice but there are a few bad apples there, but what retail store doesn't have bad apples. One of my biggest gripes about this location is one week they carry something and the next week its gone. I've shopped at this store since it opened practically and used to have no problem getting items regularly here, but I've run into problems where they suddenly stop carrying the item in question and when I ask about them about it, their standard answer is I can always go up the road to the HEB Plus on 79. I used to work in a grocery store and know that if it is in their order book, they can bring it in as a special order. I'd have no problem buying a case of an item if need be, but no, they won't do it at this store. I've also watched employees park up close and complained several times....I'm in decent enough shape to walk from further out, but my complaint is on behalf of the elderly folks that shop here who miss out on a closer spot because an employee decided to park there. Management doesn't do too much about it other than say they'll look into it. I've resulted in taking pictures of these employees with my phone. Anyway, this store is showing its age since it's not a 'Plus' store which HEB is building left and right lately. Just gotta watch out for the Instacart shoppers buzzing around....almost had a few accidents with them coming around a blind corner with them going what seems a million miles an hour (yeah I know not really). Its either get out of their way or watch your groceries go all over the floor. read more
