It is not the newest H E B and it is not the most updated, but honestly, that is part of what makes it so great. Even when it is crowded, you can still move around easily and get down the aisles without constantly waiting for someone to move their cart. A lot of the newer H E Bs have much smaller aisles, which can make shopping feel stressful, especially during busy times. That is never really an issue here. On top of that, the customer service is always great. The staff is friendly, helpful, and consistent every time I visit. Parking is also usually ample, so you are not circling the lot forever trying to find a spot unless it is right before a major holiday like Thanksgiving. Overall, this H E B gets it right. Great service, great products, and a store layout that actually makes grocery shopping easy and stress free. This location definitely deserves the recognition.

It came with a decent amount of shrimp, 1 corn on the cobb, 3 potatoes and 1 sausage (I was gifted the sausage from the person in front of me since she doesn't like sausage). Once I finished at the barbershop, I looked it up on Google Maps and realized it wasn't far from Generations Barbershop in Round Rock, TX. When I walked in, it felt like a small grocery store, but they didn't have fresh produce, just dry goods, ice cream, and their meat selection. Only a few options were available today, but hopefully next time I'll get to see the full range of meats they offer. The staff was really friendly. Even though I'm Hispanic, I don't speak fluent Spanish, but I didn't feel out of place or like I was being judged for it. What can I say, I'm a "coconut" not by choice, but my parents only spoke Spanish to us when they were mad. Overall, the customer service was great. I bought about 6-7 pounds of meat for my family. Honestly, I felt like I didn't buy enough, but when I saw the total $74. I figured maybe it was a good thing I didn't go overboard. I got around 2.5 pounds of ribs, 2.5 pounds of beef fajitas, and 3 pounds of chicken fajitas, all pre-seasoned. Normally, I avoid pre-seasoned meat because some places use it to move older products, but after grilling it, I was impressed. The meat tasted fantastic so tender and flavorful, much better than what you'd typically get elsewhere. The prices range from $11.99 to $14.99 per pound, but honestly, it's worth every penny!

Yes, I must make a pit stop at HEB to see what I can find. With lighting speed, I found an ornament and gift bag. However, I did not find any tissue...yikes! What would a Girl Scout do? As the cashier was ringing me out, I asked if he had some tissue. He said, "no" however he did provide me a paper towel looking material. Beggars cannot be choosers. So, I happily took the material and wrapped my jack pot ornament. Thanks HEB for rescuing me on this gift exchange adventure. When I got to my sorority meeting, all ornaments were being removed from their original packaging and put in clear bags provided by the sorority. So, I did not need my bag nor tissue (actually tissue-like) material. This HEB appears to be a super store, which means it is large with a huge variety of items from groceries to clothing and everything in between.
