We were the only ones outside with this kind of order. The chicken was okay, fried no spice or flavor. Apollo fish was friend in beans batter or something. Again was okay. Goat pulao tasted quite bland however both rice and meat was cooked well. The chicken biryani was also okay. Overall food wasn't great and lacked flavor. We ended up going because the weather was great and we wanted to sit outside. Not a lot of Indian places offer that. It's in a quiet neighborhood so that was good. Nothing to see.

Aug 13, 2025 review for PARMER branch location…read more ---- I understand that this is the page for Leander Location but I'm leaving the review here since they don't have the yelp page created yet for PARMER location. We went there on a weekday dinner around 8pm. They just had the grand opening couple of days ago. We ordered masala dosa and veg uttpam. Both items came quickly. I was really amazed to see their plate and utensils. Sambhar came in a really big bowl and all 3 chutneys (coconut, peanut, tomato) were also good. The waitress came to check in on us after few mins. We provided her feedback. Restaurant is spacious and restrooms were clean. Location is good as lot of Indian families in this area but good competition as well with other south Indian restaurant. They also have bunch of pastry and snacks options pre made and available at the counter. Its a women owned restaurant. Really nice to see another good restaurant in this area.

We were craving some authentic Indian food, and this for sure hit the spot. Sunday at 4 pm it was…read moreempty, but we were a party of 8, so it worked out perfectly. It is a smaller place, and they have only one high chair, heads up. We ordered a few different things to get a sense of how their flavor profile is. We ordered the following: Vegetable Samosa - great ratio of dough and filling; the green side sauce is so fresh and amazing. Butter Chicken - amazing, buttery, flavorful chicken. Vegetable Biryani - very flavorful and just the right amount of vegetables. Spicy Chicken Kodai - this was a fantastic one of our favorites. Mix Vegetable Curry - this was yummy as well but nothing special. Butter , Chili, and Garlic Naan. The naans are great, but if you love a kick, get the chili one. Overall, we really enjoyed this place. I think we have now found our go-to Indian spot in this area. Their menu items do say which region the food is from. We will be back to try other menu items.

The Hop Queen ordered the non-veg lunch special, butter chicken, and I ordered the Vindaloo (spicy), as this is my usual litmus test for a new Indian restaurant. Everything was prepared fresh for us, nothing tasted like it had been prepped before we arrived. Lots of fresh spice flavour, and the naan was a bit different (in a good way) from other places - nice texture and crunch with the flavour. Lots of interesting looking items on menu, it was a nice touch that almost all were ID'd with a specific region in India. Would be fun to work through the menu and try different items!

The biryani was especially good -- the chicken was moist, flavorful, and literally falling off the bone. The paneer tikka masala was also a standout and full of flavor. Portion sizes were generous and the prices felt like a great value for the quality and amount of food you get. The only thing I'd personally like to see changed would be fountain drinks and ice water instead of canned or bottled drinks, but that's a pretty minor thing overall. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Pricing is a little out of whack, though. The prices I paid, excluding Uber fees and tips, were comparable to what they list on their website. Mutton Karahi (8/10): Super good and tasty. Second to Zaviya's, which is just way better, but this was really good on its own. Mutton Koyla Karahi (9/10): So good. This is essentially the same as the above but with a charred, charcoal flavor that I absolutely loved. The gravy is slightly thicker since it's a bit more dried out. One of my favorite dishes of the meal. Chicken Bihari Boti (8/10): As expected, really good. I actually liked the chicken Bihari more than the beef. Chicken Malai Boti (8.5/10): Wifey's favorite, not mine. Still very good though. Chicken Dum Biryani with Aloo (9/10): Really yummy. The chicken was perfect and I loved this dish. The one aloo that came with it was good too. I didn't realize the aloo in the title literally meant... one aloo lol. :/ This and the Mutton Koyla Karahi were my favorites. Garlic Naan (6/10): It was okay. 3 Mix Grill Platter: Super expensive for what you get. This should at least come with some naan or some kind of bread. - Beef Bihari Kabab (7/10): Good, but nothing memorable. - Beef Seekh Kabab (6.5/10): It was okay as well. - Mutton Seekh (5/10): There's an upcharge for this and ironically, it was my least favorite. It still had whole spices in it which didn't feel good biting into. Overall, we enjoyed the food and being able to try so many different dishes. The Mutton Koyla Karahi and Chicken Dum Biryani were easily my favorites. But at $145 before fees, taxes, and tips, I'm not sure the value is there. You could get half trays of many of these dishes from Mirchi and other places and probably end up with 60% more food for similar taste and quality.
