    Tiger Cake

This is a public service announcement. H-E-B HAS THE BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE ON THE MARKET THIS YEAR!!!! If you like rich chocolate fudge and chocolate tort. You have to run to H-E-B and try their tiger cake. For the last week and a half they have been completely sold out and I am determined to buy another once they are restocked. I am telling you there isn't a cake on the market that can compete.

    LOVE seeing these yellow stickers!!

Wow... so I visited the other H-E-B (off Loop 250) and gave it a 3-star. I really wasn't a huge fan... mainly because it was so crowded it ruined my experience. I decided to check out this location and am glad I did! Totally different experience! I don't know if it's because I came at a different time on a different day??? To me, this store seems so much bigger/spacious (but is that because it wasn't as crowded as the other location??) I was able to find 99% of the products I came for. There is this one flavor of water enhancer that has been out at both this and the other H-E-B. It must be good?!?! I saved SO MUCH $ TODAY! I picked up Texas Rangers gear for the family (clothing was 50% off) and other Rangers merchandise (Flag, magnet) for 75% off!!! We also got some summer items (bubble blowers, sand buckets) for the kids for 75% off!!! All said, I saved $133.04 today! Say whaaaaat?!? Other things I liked: 1. The double-kid carts! Clutch for families with more than one kid!!! 2. The in-store coupons! $1 off avocado oil, $1 off water enhancers, Hotwheels cats 2/$1.50 To name just a few! 3. Has that "Wegmans" supermarket feel. (Wegmans is an amazing grocery store chain from up north). 4. Quite a few registers were open... We didn't have to wait! 5. Reasonable prices. Higher than say, Walmart but not too bad. 6. Curbside Pick up... free Tuesday-Friday. ($4.99 Sat- Monday boooooooo.) 7. Gas station up front! Few cents cheaper than elsewhere.

Had almost everything we were looking for. Service was quick and love their branded products. Anytime we visit Texas always love to stop at HEB. This location was clean and fairly well stocked. Would come back.

It's basically the only place I'll grocery shop. They have the best prices, and quality. Best prices on gas as well. I love this store.

Hand's down best grocery shopping in Midland. Try to go during off hours (or you'll be waiting in line for 15 min to check out).

Well stocked, but always busy!! Midland definitely needs a second HEB. The prices here are definitely better than Albertson's!

Stopped by to buy groceries today (10.24.2024)…read more Employees were friendly. Helps if you speak Spanish, but they always have English speakers to assist too. I'm perturbed for several reasons: 1) they rang up a bag of apples to be $4.79 when it was supposed to be $1.99. After quite a wait, that was price checked and changed for me. Cool. 2) got home & noticed the cilantro & the 3 limes ($1) I bought & paid for didn't make it into our bags. I need it for dinner tonight. The staff bagged our groceries for us. So frustrating because it was $1.99 for a relatively small bundle, but I wanted to support La Tienda. 3) flies everywhere! 4) dusty goods! The can of beans I bought was covered in dust as was the others. Could these last two reasons be because the two front doors were propped open? Will be a while before I come back even though I'm in this vicinity at least once per week. My 11-year-old daughter loved this store and how organized it was. She ain't paying the bills, though. Lol.

Although the prices on the shelves seemed high, The Meat was at a good price…read more I give the vegetable section a 6.5 to 7 out of 10 because some of the lettuce looked weathered and old but the shredded family-size lettuce for making a salad was only $2.40 on the bottom shelf in the refrigerated section and looked great and was much cheaper than Walmart 's shredded salad lettuce with their's being over$5.00 for the same size.
