The people who work at Midland Meat are so incredibly helpful and nice! They did not hesitate to ask me how I was doing and to answer any questions that I had. I didn't get her name but there was one girl helping me who incredibly amazing. She gave me her recommendations of which ribeye she thought was good and type of seasonings to put on it. The shop also has a big selection of seasonings and some vegetables on the side. They also sell better and give out free potatoes. Needless to say I made myself an amazing dinner with the best ribeye I've ever eaten. Every piece I ate was deliciously fatty on the inside.

This Albertson's is probably the longest-operating grocery store in Midland, having been open since…read morethe early 70's. The interior of the store is very reminiscent of grocery stores in the 1980's, both in the style and having a somewhat limited selection compared to more modern stores like HEB. It's great because you can park very close to the door, get your groceries quickly and get paid out and done with your shopping trip quickly. This almost never happens at HEB unless you get there very early in the morning. They do also have some products which HEB doesn't carry. However they can be quite overpriced compared to the competition on most items. On some things though they are pretty reasonable and sometimes even less expensive than other stores. Their freshly made bread is very good. We would probably shop at Albertson's more often if they had better prices. It's great if you just need some basic staple groceries in a hurry.
