I have purchased from HEB since they opened here in Granbury. Then when Curbside opened up we switched to Curbside because my husband has spinal issues. He likes his beer afterwork everyday and I order from HEB Curbside and he left his wallet in his jeans this morning. He went to pick up the Curbside order and they would NOT let him get the beer! We are Senior Citizens PEOPLE! We are Gray headed with wrinkles! You have just lost one of your best customers! You wouldn't even let me take a photo of his DL and send it to him for y'all to see it. There is no need to say how nice this store is and the ease of shopping it's been done many times. What I would like to say is how overwhelming today's experience was for me. I'm having a few health issues and you store manager and several staff came to my assistance. They made sure I was OK and gave me a bottle of water. Instead of a cart the manager requested an electric cart so I would be more comfortable shopping. I'm so sorry but i'm terrible remembering names but Pat as store manager comes to mind. Either way I have never in my life been so well treated by anyone and i'm 73 years old. This includes the young man that walked to my pickup with me insuring I made the trip safely. There are three gas stations in close proximity in this area, HEB is one of them. We use a gas app to determine which one has the lowest prices. HEB is usually not the winner in this category. But maybe they have an incentive program that might balance things out. we generally find the gas across the street at the other shopping store to be less expensive, especially with our rewards discount. But this past weekend HEB was lower than the other two, so we used it. Perfectly okay place to buy fuel, but I know nothing about its quality. The one thing I don't like, see picture, is they offer the option to have a fuel additive, but there is no indication whatsoever of price. So I am baffled by that. Bottom line: Checking to see if there are discounts or incentives for registered HEB shoppers. read more

People tend to post complaints but I have to share a positive experience I had at 7AM this morning. I'm hosting a Ladies sleepover weekend and as many of you are probably experiencing, I have to go to multiple stores to get all the ingredients for recipes. This morning, I arranged for curbside at 7am at both H‑E‑B and Walmart. Walmart was out of things I needed and when I got to H‑E‑B, I asked if one particular item (fairly expensive) could be added to my order. The answer was "no" so they GAVE it to me to "thank me for my business." Brycen is the young man that made that happen. H‑E‑B always exceeds my expectations but this gesture left me speechless. I've always liked HEB, and this one is in a great area of Granbury. The parking lot as some very large trees out front that is landscaped and bulkheaded in areas. Gives lots of shade and great look to the store front. Inside is like the others, helpful staff, lots of foods and such that other stores don't offer or even attempt to try. Lots of premade items. Even with plants, which was why we went in today. They have some special philodendrons in stock for way cheaper than the plant stores. Ring of Fire, White Wizard, Pink Princess... these were all $20 with the coupon they had attached to the display table. We usually walk through the meat section as well, they usually have a lot of good meats for less than the competition. Always worth a look. Vegetables are always fresh looking, they carry a good bit that others don't, both organic and regular fare. This store is a nice one. read more

My Go-to supermarket for all my grocery needs. Never have had to stand in line at the checkout very long and they sack your groceries and put them in the cart. Friendly service, great housemade tortillas, tres leches cake, seafood and fresh produce. Will never go back to Kroger or Walmart again. read more

There is never a time that this grocery store is not absolutely crazy but I am still willing to come here because they have so many items that you're not going to find at your traditional grocery store. I could make the worlds longest list of things that are better at H-E-B purely because H-E-B makes them... Tortillas.....Guacamole....Tres Leche....Fajitas. Alll the best you can find. I recently started shopping at HEB and really enjoy both the Cleburne and Granbury stores which are almost equal distance from my home (Cleburne is a bit closer). The Granbury store is larger with more selection and when I have time to spare I love to go to this store just to browse the aisles. I come here at least 3 times a week. Drive across town because I like the selection. Prices are not the cheapest but decent. I tried to exchange diapers that I received at a baby shower. I brought them because the cashier said I could exchange them no matter where they were from if they are unopened. Great. Every time I come I forget and today I remembered! Unfortunately customer service said no way. I told her I wouldn't have brought them but I checked first. Still no. I asked the manager. Nope. Even though one of our employees told you that and you schlepped them up here we're still going to say no. We spend like a quarter of our income at this place. It just seems like maybe you would honor what your employee told a loyal customer. Feeling disappointed and needed to write this even if it just helps me feel a little better. read more

Just moved here last August; was told by my hairdresser to try H-E-B as I was complaining about how much I hate shopping at Walmart. Let me tell you... H-E-B is where I shop now. The meat department and fresh produce departments are amazing; the selection and quality was exactly what I was looking for. We rolled into the parking lot, headed inside to buy a gas card, then checked out. We used the card to get a discount at the H-E-B gas station across the lot. In, out, business complete. How the hell Granbury deserves to get a HEB this nice is beyond me. Stopped in here for orange juice and wine. HEB fresh squeezed OJ is the absolute shit. Un pasteurized, unfiltered, and squeezed from ripened oranges their OJ in the fruit section is heaven. The OJ is sweet and unbitter just like the juice you squeeze from an orange. Depending on which HEB you buy it from it can range from pricey (Houston area) to downright cheap (Granbury). A couple of my co workers are suckers for a particular red sweet wine that is only sold at HEB and surprisingly this place had it. The store in general is set up perfectly. Love HEB, just not sure why Granbury and not FT Worth. read more

So ever since Kroger raised their prices to god awful amounts I've been shopping mainly at H-E-B and Walmart. After being here numerous times I'm finally getting the hang of where everything is. For a while I kept thinking the only thing they needed was self checkouts. Then they got them. Now the only thing they need to update is the thing connected to ALL the machines that reads your card without having to insert it. You just hold it up close to it. It probably doesn't accept google or samsung pay either. They are a little behind in technology because they don't work. read more

I was on my way to a retreat in Granbury. I stopped in to get some healthy snacks. They had someone making sushi and they were sampling it! They had a beer rep doing a beer and chocolate tasting. When I asked where the dark chocolate was the nice man that worked there took me to it but also told me on the other isle Hershey's had the large dark chocolate bars for $.39 and went and got one for me to show it to me. This is a NICE grocery store, especially for the area! They even have a nice bulk department with unique items! It deserves to have a Yelp review! read more
