Not sure why it's taking me so long to give them a review. I am very lucky to have this Costco as the closest one to me. I've been to all of the Costco in the metroplex and the Cityview Costco is by far is the best. The people that work there a great many of them have been there for years. I love the variety of things that we have and it always seems like we have better plants and gardening things than some of the other Costco's and other parts of the Metroplex. I only wish I could buy all of my groceries at Costco. And don't sleep on that snack bar. Everything you get from there taste so good and as well priced. What's not to like about Costco? Need 100 rolls of toilet paper--check! How about a 55 gallon drum of maple syrup? Ok they don't have that, but they do have a great selection of items across a variety of categories. Books, gift cards, legos, groceries, car batteries, and more. I've never found the executive membership to be worth my while, but if you spend a lot there it could be for you. I'm especially a fan of the tire center. They have the best prices for a rotation and balance, even if you didn't buy the tires from them. read more

One of my favorite store that has a wide range of everything you could possibly want or need from food to clothing, electronics and a whole lot more. Should you order food from their kitchen watch out for some of the staff. Asked for a spoon and was told to wait and then I was left at the counter while they went and refilled the utensils at the sitting area while the counter dispenser was out as well. Very rude in my opinion if I had directly asked for a spoon. Of it wasn't for this service incident I would have given Costco five stars. Maybe next time...... read more

Neighbor doesn't own a car and asked if I would take him to Costco. (We were in the area for lunch, and of course I didn't mind.) The place was packed, and surprisingly we didn't have much difficulty finding a parking place. Having never been here before, I didn't know what to expect. There are scanners at the front entrance to scan his membership card. I was shocked at how incredibly clean and highly organized the store was. Not sure if there was anything out of place, which is a dream come true for me. We quickly loaded up four cases of water and headed for the checkout lanes. The line was long but moved quickly and seemlessly. The associate at the door verified our receipt, and we were on our way. What a joy to have shopped here...I was very impressed! I love this Costco location. The store is clean and well organized (as mammoth warehouses go) and the majority of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Their rotisserie chicken, fresh baked bread and fresh produce are fantastic. I had to knock it down by one star due to the "rude" service I have received from the hearing department (multiple times). On my latest trip, I brought my hearing aids in (Kirkland brand - fantastic) to have the software updated, and the gal looked at me like I had just demanded that she lop off a finger for me! In my case the hearing aid software had to be updated by the store. If I could have done it online by myself I would have. It's unfortunate that one person can ruin an entire experience. read more

Great costo with their vision dispensing services, but they need to change their optometrist to align with the insurance they take. It's not a one stop shop with the bad customer service on the eye doctor's end. I've used their cell phone, tire department and travel services and have been happy with them. read more

Always some good deals to be had here. Today was some amazing prices on the Dorritos chips, with a massive bag being only $4.99! This bag is twice the size as the family size bags at the large discount stores! Nice find! I've also started frequenting the liquor store thats attached to the outside of the store. It's not operated by the Costco brand of stores, it's WB Liquors if I recall correctly, yet they have some amazing prices. I'm told it's all MSRP and not the mark ups found at small mom and pop shops. Tho they don't carry the large selections that your main stream stores carry. It's still worth a look. read more

Love the store - great layout, courtesy desk and cashiers are extremely helpful. They take care of customers, as opposed to Sam's Club (they've cut back on staff to boost profits but they've lost their customer service). The place is always clean. The staff works hard to make sure the place is clean and aisles are clear and free for people to walk through. There's always good deals going on - it helps you can check on prices beforehand on their site, that makes it easier to know what you're walking into before you drive out to the stores. The only hiccup is you HAVE to use either cash or a Visa card - Mastercard is not accepted here. The whole Costco system of shopping is awesome. I've sent stuff to my sister in Wyoming through Costco and never had an issue whatsoever. Been a member since 2016 and will continue to do so. Anyone who belongs to any other warehouse needs to seriously consider changing over to Costco. read more

Do not buy a tv from them. Mine dies just after the 2 year mark. Samsung 55 inch. The box says 3 year warranty. They only warranty for 2. I have never had one die so fast. I will never buy another one from them again. Or any other electronics. It looks like the power supply. I have been a member since 2002. I am buying less and less from them. Big box store. The self-checkout is not. As best i can tell, The whole sytem of the store is created to irritate customers, mostly because there are too many people in the store. Just take a look at the "check out" lanes... crammed with broken shopping carts chained to empty registers and pilled high with empty boxes. Some of the prices are reasonable, BUT AT WHAT COST? If you have 4 or more kids, you want to shop quickly, and this is the place for you. You can easily grab a huge rolling pallet for 75lb bags of dog chow, and many ofher interesting items. Just keep a calculator handy. And Happy shopping. read more

Pre-pandemic, I just felt like this Costco was meh. However, the pandemic let Costco show just how great they were. When you could scarcely find Lysol, toilet paper, and other household essentials (not to mention food items), Costco came through time and time again. They also have a liquor store on site (that's open to the general public, no Costco membership necessary) in addition to their nice assortment of wine inside the club. I've found some gems and even gotten a fire dinner recommendation there as well. While it would be nice to still have some law and order as far as lines go (for a few months, they were directing traffic to checkout lanes and it was so organized) and have a self-checkout or some similar alternative to Sam's Scan & Go, this Costco has come through many times over the last year. read more

Fort Worth Costco is alright. Observation: * I lost my Nike Shades here once and I came back for it, it was gone. I remember accidentally leaving it on the Water bottle section, it happened to me twice already in Costco. The first time I lost it was in Costco of Grapevine and came back for it and it was still there, untouched. I asked the Customer Service if someone returned a Nike Shades and they said they "no one returned a shades here". I think it's the community in Fort Worth. People should learn that stealing isn't right and do the right thing to put it in lost and found. * Also, please return the cart back to the Cart Rack. People just leaves it on the side of the parking lot unattended and it is dangerous for motor vehicles passing by as the carts tend to roll over during windy days. Thank you. * The Cashiers works fast and the boxers are ready anytime to box your groceries. Amenities: Whichever Costco Gas station you go, it is always busy compared to Sam's Club flex fuel. WIFI is not offered. They got alot of great food tasting on every other days like weekdays or sometimes weekends. They sell nice flowers, jackets, gadgets, silverware & Vitamins. (My opinion) Tips: * Their pastries are good and the other baking goods. * Their roasted chicken is cooked well and good to eat when eaten fresh. * Their Pork Ribs contains MSG. (For people suffering migraines or allergic) * Kirkland water bottle is the best. * The milk and eggs is high quality. * The produce that they sell here isn't fresh/good compared to Sam's Club in my opinion. * They sell good poultry like their trout, salmon, & organic chicken. * They got some good potato chips and I love their Snapeas chips. * Try out their BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich & their pizza Pepperoni & Cheese pizza tastes good. read more

I have always been the biggest Costco fan there is. Tonight they get a jeer from this member. Tonight, I let my daughter who is 15 go in to pick up a chicken to go. She had my member card as well as my check card. The store wouldn't allow her to make a purchase. They literally refused to sell my kid a 4.00 Chicken. What did they think she was doing? Running away from home to buy a chicken. Seriously, I know you don't care about your customers but this was awful. Common sense has left the building everywhere now. The AT&T sales people are simply dishonest. I switched to AT&T while in Costco a couple years ago. The AT&T representative stated he added my military discount. He did not and by the time this was noticed it was past the enrollment time. This cost me over $500.00 over the course of the contract. Last week while in Costco I was accosted by an AT&T rep and we discussed my poor data speed and they discovered the military discount issue. He disclosed the individual who I previously dealt with was notorious for ripping customers off and still worked at that location. I decided upgraded the fiber internet to my hose and purchased two new phones while changing my contract. The new AT&T rep showed my some additional discounts that I qualified for. One week later I did not qualify for the discount, one on the new phones is wrong and we are waiting for a new phone (they ordered the wrong phone) cost me $50.00 restock fee. Who and how are the AT&T representatives held accountable? A complete and total disappointment. I think the management of the Costco need to be made aware of the issue because I do not want to go to Costco again because of a vendor....... read more

It's pouring outside and in only asked for a big trash bag so I can leave in the rain but she rejected me :) thank you "Karen" Thumbs up to Costco Fort Worth for doing a great job to protect us and the community during COVID-19 pandemic. Staffs are sanitizing shopping carts, sneeze guards are up at the checkouts and all of them are super friendly even with their masks on I could still felt their kindness behind the masks. I had a very bad experience at this location before because one of their "managers" was a very rude cuz I didn't have my membership card with me.(long story not gonna go into details about what happened) but today, I felt even with this whole madness out there in the world, we all teamed up together and fight together to protect our country and our world. Membership has been consistently good, checkout for the most part good, jewelry department excellent, electronics excellent, optometry excellent - girls working with the eyeglasses are phenomenal. Mostly one is in-and-out without incidence. I love Costco, shopping since it was Price Club in Southern California back in the early 90's. Fort Worth Costco on Overton has an inconsistent culture though when it comes to it's human hires. Yesterday, I had a busy day working in the garden, cleaning out trash, talking to my husband remembered we needed toilet paper among a few other things like meat, and some celebration items. My trip to Costco became an expedition, remembered I needed a pair of special earrings for my daughter's wedding, the young man was amazingly knowledgeable, and helpful. He was a superb, yet understated employee. Then realized we needed an extra mattress for guests, which required another specialty cart. Turns out the black gal at the front determined I was not allowed to take the cart outside. Why do employees not ask questions? Like "How can I help you". Can I get someone to help you? I am a 56-year old female with white hair, what troubles can I make? But who has time to ask nowadays? Where is the customer service this great nation use to cherish so dearly? So I finally find the specialty flat carts, which were outside on the other side of the massive lines of smaller carts. I hustled around the massive hurdles, and got back to my little cart, purse, and water filter, switched em all over to my flat cart, and left that cart in the front where the lady said I could not take it outside. Got my mattress to my flat cart, some vino, and then was in the meat department getting some lamb roast, when my wine fell and broke during a turn gone wrong. Two employees were there, not one said a word to me, and the latter who has been working there for years had nothing but disgust on his face. I barely mustered "sorry", the pudgy grey-heared eastern-european guy made a sound "eh" with that look of disdain that he does so well. Why does he walk around the store so "slowly" looking straight ahead as if he is the only person in the store? Is he the owner? If he's not, why is he there? If I was the owner, he would be fired. He is useless, zero customer service skills. Zero. He's a nobody, acting like a somebody, Who just looks at receipts all day long. I was worried someone could get stuck with the glass so I took the initiative to skirt all the glass to a safe smaller area. But as soon as I could, I fled the dark clouds looming at the aisle of turkey, chicken, and fish. Can you imagine, my first break of glass in 3 plus decades of shopping at Costco, and not even a "don't you worry" or "it's okay"? Glad it was only a $7.99 bottle of Prosecco, and that I still had another intact on my flat cart. Lastly, I paid for all my necessities on one receipt, and then paid for the earrings on another. Then I picked up my earrings from Costco's Management at the front, and the gal was super efficient, and genuinely oriented in helping me the best way possible. Great employee number two. The guy who showed me the earring earlier was number one, but she sealed the deal with my Costco jewelry experience. Turns out she is part of the management team, and understandably deserves the spot. On my way out, employee number three of terrible customer service looked at the receipt I gave him of all the items on my flatbed cart. Now if this young man had checked the receipt I had given him, he would see that each and every item on the cart had been bought and paid for, and would have realized he had done his job. Instead, seeing another white receipt inside my purse asks about it. I tell him its an item picked up, and cared for. Nothing he has to check. Snotty young kid bends over, reaches inside my purse, and pulls out my receipt. Kid's name is Cris, and I have never seen him before. My husband says he is glad he was not there, (former military, and law enforcement), cause he would have broken his hand. How does Costco employ such low moral and value employees, yet juxtapose that with some really motivated and high value stars? read more

It's Costco! You get exactly what you come here for. Bustling center of bulk items and sweet deals. Park in the first spot you see open, grab a cart, strap on your helmet, and go get your deals! The facility is clean, cool, and mostly tidy. Despite the wide aisles, you'll most likely be bumped into by someone racing to get to their super savings, but Costco can't be blamed for that. I called Costco before returning my 65 inch TV yesterday cause why would I want to return a heavy and large item back in the store if it's not qualified to be returned. A rep at this location verbally approve the return even though it was past 90 days. The exact words "bring in the item the best way you can in the box or not and we can refund it to you in the same card used or in a store credit form.'' After getting at the warehouse with the TV manager Max nor did Lisa approve the return. I went out of my way and contacted a friend who have suv to bring in the item. After spending over two hours at this location there was no resolution. This causes me and my friend over two hours of time and missed appointments and plans on Friday. The supervisor Erica gave a concierge number to call and I wasted entire hour and half doing back and forth cause no one was taking accountability on the misinformation. It was very simple act of customer service that was handled very poorly per the concierge management. I was calm and collective and was certain not worth wasting my energy and time beyond that point after seeing no results. Someone just messed with wrong information yesterday when I called and even gave her name but it wasn't the correct name and information. Lesson learned. Record the conversations before heading to the warehouse. Costco just lost a very important customers today. Have escalated this issue now we will see. read more
