GREAT place and good atmosphere. Sometimes super hectic but the cashiers try and get you out as quick as possible.

As a person that appreciates customer service, I was so disappointed one evening by the lack thereof. Although I hope that this has been rectified. ..the deli dept staff lack the values that the company stands for. Closing 1/2 hour early and refusing service. Our younger generations only concern is getting off and getting paid. Please be more Customer Service oriented in the future. Thank you read more

I purchased some crawfish yesterday and 5 of the 30lbs were dead...Tom in seafood said bring them back for exchange or reimbursement. I did, but being it is a high demand they were out. I went to the service desk and Nancy and Lucy gave me my reimbursement. My point is their customer service and dedication to duty was TOP NOTCH!!! Like the saying goes "I Love my HEB!!! read more

I've been to HEB in Hewitt, Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove( the beautiful brand new one) & Belton. Belton has them all beat in my opinion. The customer service is above & beyond. If the lines are a little backed up they will actually get backup cashiers up there. We've been in one of those backed up lines a couple of times & ladies from express actually took initiative to signal for me to come to her line instead of waiting & I had well over 15 items. Parking is hard to find when it's busy so go early instead of the afternoon. Weekends are busy but like I said they actually have cashiers & managers watching the lines to keep things moving smoothly. read more

This H-E-B is always over crowded and if you try to go on a Sunday night several of the shelves are empty. I just avoid this store now because it's not worth the hassle. read more

I am not native to Texas as I'm used to the chain of Publix supermarkets. However, my first experience with HEB was a pleasant one. Very big, all the amenities and foods a person could imagine. Love the fresh fruits and vegetables. The seafood section is awesome. Really enjoy getting the lean cut beef and their wine selection is great. Not sure why they have electronics and televisions, but to each their own. read more

I absolutely LOVE this new HEB. There aren't usually any long lines (when I go), the cooking station is going in the evening & I've gotten some really good recipes to try at home (now, some of the seasonings they want you to use can be a little pricey; but hey atleast you know what the end product should taste like). The produce is always fresh & there are usually some fresh samples out. I havent bought anything from the seafood area but everything usually looks fresh, there's even sushi for the sushi lovers. Compared to the old HEB, this one is a God send!! There's a HUGE variety on EVERYTHING; the meat, frozen foods, deli stuff, the bakery is always busy & not to mention the non-food items. They did a great job with this new HEB, love the location too. read more

My absolute favorite grocery store ever. I've lived all over the country. Some people say that the prices are high but I don't notice a difference between HEB and say Kroger. I love all the fresh food. I love all the already prepared meals. Love. read more

I love HEB in general. This happens to be my home store and I am so glad it is. There are always great sales, coupons and the staff is friendly. I love that they provide recipes and on site cooks you can talk with. They have prepared dishes in the seafood department that I can just pop in the oven. The market has burgers, chicken and tenderloins that are seasoned and ready to throw on the grill. When I lived in Round Rock the HEB there offered wine and cheese classes but I haven't seen that around here. Wouldn't mind doing another one of those. HEB is always involved in the community and promotes healthy living. Can't go wrong with these guys. read more

Not a bad store, they carry a wide variety of items. My only complaints are that they don't keep stocked up very well, and are frequently out of things, and also many items are hard to reach - either up too high or back too far (as in the case of milk). If they would do better about bringing things forward to make it easier for the customer to reach (especially on higher shelves), that would be an improvement. I frequently have to stand on the railing at the bottom of the cases to reach milk or cheese. This wouldn't be so much of an issue if there was more staff around to assist when you need them, but they are usually all up at the front. On the plus side, they have quite a few 15 items or less checkouts available, which is nice and convenient. They have a good selection of meats, produce, wine, and lots of specialty areas. All in all, a pretty good place to shop! read more

The best grocery stores in the Texas! They have a huge selection of food from Texas, and as a Texan I definitely appreciate that. The company itself does a lot for the local area, and runs fabulous programs directed towards literacy, children etc. An all around great company to spend your money supporting! read more

This store frustrates me so much. They often run out. They are poorly stocked. I have never experienced this with other HEB's. I even complained to the manager. She told me to call her if it happened again, so did. Then I did again. Then when it happened again. she did not take my call, so I stopped telling her. It's a problem store plus they are more expensive then the temple HEB. Just compare HEB products between the store if you have a chance and you will see what I mean. Nice store lots of stuff but low on groceries. read more

I have shopped at HEB for 5 years now since we moved to the central Texas area and have loved them, we absolutely love their selections in meat and have refused to go anywhere else for our groceries until today. After doing my regular shopping for the week I went to pay my bill for $321.51 and my check was declined at the register, I shop here weekly and sometimes stop in during the week to grab extra things, I even cash my payroll checks here, I have never ever had a problem, so imagine my shock when this happened. The cashier told me this had been happening all day at her register so she called for help and they had me move to a different register to try my check there, check still declined. Then I was told sorry we can't accept the check because our computer won't let us. After working all day then spending over an hour shopping for my groceries I was upset and asked for a manager. The manager came over and was really nice but said it is not us it is the check company we use sorry. She did offer to keep my groceries in a cooler but I had to pick kids up from school and daycare and my bank is out of town so at that point I couldn't even go get cash for my groceries. I was given the name and number of the "check company" and told to call them. I did and was told there was no discrepancies with my checks. So I decided later on this evening to try Walmart which uses the same "check company" and guess what, my payment was taken without issue. So after being a very committed customer for a little over 5 years I will no longer be using HEB, I found out there are a few other good grocery stores in my area so I will be traveling to those from now in. It is ridiculous that a "computer check system" can decide to decline my check for no reason and I was turne away when there had obviously been issues with the system through the day! read more

This HEB is HUGE and it has everything you could want just like Wal-Mart. Other than a clothes aisle. I remember the old one and this HEB is so much better! read more

Went in today with my wife, most of the shelves in the meat section were empty, looked at a package of meat which was actually green. Bought two packages of lo carb tortillas and (my fault for not checking) noticed tonight they were four days past best by date and stuck together. Items missing off shelves in many aisles. Not a good experience. read more
